  1. Chapter 1: My Faust
  2.
  3. Amanda was walking about the late, barren streets once again she decided to spend her nightly time at an old diner that she frequented. She would escape to this crumbling haven of food and relaxing music whenever she could not sleep. Her insomnia, the reason for her troublesome nights, was becoming worse as her stress as a masseuse did in turn. Her clientele book was absorbing too many names, more than it could hold. She sighed at her recollection of tomorrow's list of names. She groaned as she pressed her body weight into the door, opening it.
  4.
  5. She stumbled into the diner. After walking a short distance, she landed her bottom onto a stool. She soon let her head fall to the counter. She let out an exhausted yawn before closing her eyes. Frank Sinatra filled her ears with the Swing music and she soon found herself humming to "Come Fly with me" as she breathed deeply to the smell of coffee. She scratched her head and let out another obnoxious yawn before turning her head to the back of the diner.
  6.
  7. "Dan, one knockout please." She called to the common cook of the establishment. A knockout was a drink which was known to well to Amanda. She could already taste the mix between vodka and coffee on her tongue. The feeling of bliss as it numbed her senses and the vision of her finally attaining rest. Dan did not answer.
  8.
  9. She now noticed that she was the only person in the room and maybe the whole building. She stood and walked to the back door, she though Dan would be on the can but he was not. She noticed that the alternative entrance's door was slightly open. She normally avoided this entrance because of the piles of junk and the garbage bags that were dumped near it. She opened the door to see an odd show.
  10.
  11. A woman in torn clothing limped away from a hulking creature. Its arms looked to be long wolf-like in nature but with long rake like hands. Its legs seemed to be like a cat's that bulged with every step. The torso was covered in a void-like black that easily swung with the slightest breeze. Oddly enough, its head looked almost human, the face just disfigured. It raised a hand and looked like it was about to slash at the woman. Amanda squeaked in fear. Her primal thoughts took over and she bumped into the entrance to the diner, a loud slam, then a click was heard. Amanda gasped as the creature turned to look at her, its eyes seemed to hunt her movements. She turned to the door and grappled onto the handle, pulling with all of her might before falling to the floor. Her first thought was
  12.
  13. "What happened?" She wondered why she was on the ground and why she could not move her legs. She looked down; it felt like hours while she gazed onto the pile of chopped pile of flesh that was her legs. The monster was very accurate in its swipe; everything below her waist was cut from her. She clawed at the ground in her fight or flight high so she could flee. The Monster raised its hand again. The air rung with the sound of a swipe but only a stump met Amanda's eyes. The monster screeched with pain as it burst into flames, it crumbled before her and the wounded woman from before walked through the ashes and keeled before Amanda.
  14.
  15. "I'm sorry for your life but thank you for saving mine." The woman's cold hands rubbed Amanda's scalp as her vision began to blur.
  16.
  17. "I cannot heal this. I can still help you though, because of this I will offer to save your life but you will have to devote your life to serving me. Do you accept my terms?" The woman asked as she pet Amanda's head. Amanda felt too weak to move, so she did her best and nodded. Amanda closed her eyes and began to sleep. Before she fully fell asleep she thinks she may have heard the woman say something, a single word "Akito".
  18.
  19. Her chest felt heavy in her dreams, she floated through dark nothingness endlessly. When she finally felt like she could move it was as if she was in a sea of a transparent black liquid that was the void that she was in. She raised her head and looked at the weight on her chest, laying between her breasts was a black cat. It was curled up and mewed gently as she moved. She pondered why this cat felt so familiar and close to her heart but she did not move to comfort it. She thought about what the woman said and then finally spoke.
  20.
  21. "Akito?" The cat awakened from its spot and sat on her chest, it seemed to smile as it melted on her. The now goo cat seeped into her body with ease until her body supposedly took in the cat. She felt her energy return to her body and her heart felt alive once more. She felt her bare chest to find no trace of the cat. Light began to flood around her which lit up the sea that was around her.
  22.
  23. Amanda opened her eyes and looked at the popcorn plaster ceiling with a cocked brow. She sat up in a silk like bed, her body ached and she would swear that one of her bones cracked as she sat up in her cloud of a bed. She looked about the room for a few moments. She had a large wardrobe that sat next to a white door in the back of the room. A vanity sat to the left of her bed. She squeaked in surprise as she looked at herself. Her once blond hair now looked charred black and her eyes stole the color of the moons yellow reflection. Her face seemed to be slightly different; she looked almost like a whole new person as she continued to vacantly stare at her reflection. She removed her covers and exited the bed. Her body was attacked with a sharp pain with her first step and a cold air surrounded her naked form. She quickly walked to the door by her wardrobe which lead her to a restroom. A note that read
  24.
  25. "Good morning pet, I hope you slept well. Open the box at the foot of your bed and slip into that. Your Mistress commands it." stains of lipstick cover the edge of the page. Amanda looked into the bed room and found a small storage box at the foot of the bed. She opened it and blushed when she saw the frilly maid outfit. The top covered her torso and her arms, the white lacy frills lined the edges of it and made a cross of white seams in a line under and between the chest portions of the torso piece. The skirt had hooks that could be clipped onto the top of the dress and only went halfway down her thigh. The lacing on the bottom of the skirt formed tiny white hearts in the lining of the underside of the skirt. The two black fishnet stockings rubbed on her skin, they felt so soft to the touch. She rubbed them on her face before slipping them on.
  26.
  27. "Odd." She thought as she now had on the full outfit, she was disappointed to not find any undergarments in the box. She walked to the door and found two shined black five inch heels. She slipped them on and blushed. She was about to open the door when she heard her savior's voice.
  28.
  29. "Come Akito, I must tell you the requirements of our deal." Amanda turned her head to face the voice. On the bed sat the woman from before wearing the exact same torn clothing, her finger curled at Amanda, beckoning her forth.
  30.
  31. Amanda disregarded her feelings of fright as she walked to the woman and keeled before her. She felt content and smiled. The woman before her did the same while patting Amanda's head, her fingers gently scratched her scalp.
  32.
  33. "I hope you slept well, those were three days you could have been working." Amanda looked up in slight bliss as the woman gently scratched her.
  34.
  35. "Three days? Three days since-" the woman cuts her off
  36.
  37. "Since your death as Amanda and your resurrection as my pet, Kiki." The woman chuckles and reached for Amanda's ears, her nails caressed Amanda's ears and pulled forward gently. Amanda obediently followed the pull and rested her head in the lap of the woman; she felt the urge to let out something from deep inside of her soul. The woman chuckled and so did Amanda.
  38.
  39. "Well I guess its time I told you what has changed about you." She gently flicked Amanda's ear which forced her head to back away and look into this woman's eyes.
  40.
  41. "First of all my name is Amelia. You may call me Mistress Amelia or Mistress. If you want to stay on my good side, I would suggest introducing me as Mistress Amelia and speaking to me as Mistress. Secondly you are no longer Amanda, your new name is Akito, it means one who is satisfied, and you will receive many nicknames from me."
  42.
  43. Amanda looks down and nods slowly; she fears that she may have made a Faustian bargain with Mistress. She tries with all of her will to call her something else in her thoughts but tries to no avail. Akito's eyes meet Amelia's, showing that she is ready for more information.
  44.
  45. "Thirdly, you are no longer truly human. You are a familiar; a familiar is a part of my soul mixed with a spirit. I had one before you but I merged your soul with the original Akito's so you are one in the same now. We will feel each other's emotions when physically close because you are part of me now. You will live with me and die with me, our lives are tied together. Do you understand?" Akito grimaced at her Mistress.
  46.
  47. "I'm no longer human? I'm a familiar? What?" She looks down at herself and covers her chest with her arms. She shook in fear, in confusion. Amelia knew that the emotions would soon affect her as well so she decided to move to the next part of Aki's orientation.
  48.
  49. "I know you will get used to it Kiki I have even tweaked your body to make it more simple, you're a more obedient cat than human now." Akito looked up at Amelia and tilted her head, her mouth ajar. Amelia placed her hand on Akito's head, her hand scratched Akito's head the same way she did to Akito's ears. Akito rested her head on her Mistress' lap as her new black furred cat ears were scratched. She had the feeling that if she were to check her backside would have a tail of the same luster. Though she did not care, the petting matched the feeling of a strong massage on her tired back. She finally let out the feeling that had been welling up inside of her. Akito released a long deep purr and relaxed, she wanted to become Amelia's pet.
  50.
  51. Chapter 2: Lifestyle
  52.
  53. Amelia reviled in the feeling of joy that was emitting from Akito. She rested her hands on Aki's head and smile down at her. Akito looked up at her Mistress, her ears perked as she waited for the next order, the next lesson, anything. She did wonder if Amelia herself was human or not, the thought attacked her mind as she tried to deduce the answer. Amelia gently rubbed the tip of Aki's ears
  54.
  55. "Did you want to know something Pet?" she asked with a tormenting smile. Akito purred loudly at this new pleasurable feeling
  56.
  57. "M-mistress, are you human?" she asked in a quivering voice as her tail darted about on the floor while Amelia chuckled.
  58.
  59. "I am a cunningfolk, a witch if you will. I am fully human unlike you my pet." she leaned down and kissed Akito on the head, her lipstick coloring her forehead. Akito blushed at the kiss and then turned away for a moment; Akito was bisexual but had never received a kiss from the same gender. Her ears flicked about as her tail snaked about on the carpeted floor; Amelia's eyes followed its movement. She cupped Akito's head in her hands and smiled as Aki's eyes met hers again
  60.
  61. "You're such a coy, adorable pet; I will introduce you to one of your new duties." Amelia brought her lips to Aki's, over the span of the next hour Akito's Mistress taught her that she may never disobey any orders given to her by her Mistress.
  62.
  63. "I am going back to the shop; you are my coworker in my little shop of Wicca." She smiles and pats Akito's head.
  64.
  65. "Take a shower and get dressed in some more common clothes, then join me for work. Hurry." Amelia exited the room and left Akito on the bed. She panted and crawled to the restroom. She stripped from her clothes and then stood in the shower. She twitched as the water hit her and swatted at the water that fell on her, much like a cat. She finally decided to clean her tail. She gripped the tail with both hands and slowly puled, her eyes crossed and she fell to her knees. She stroked her tail and the rest of her body with soap before washing it off. She turned off the water and exited the shower. She twitched and shook for a moment before getting on all fours and shaking like a wet animal. She soon became completely dry. She felt a little ashamed of her action; she now truly believed Amelia's words now. She was no longer human but a cat in a human body, maybe she will be running about and eating mice and chasing string. She prays that never comes.
  66.
  67. She picked herself off of the ground; she dusted herself off before exiting the bathroom. Her feet made a flesh like click on the floor as she made her way to the wardrobe. She presented herself before it prior to opening one of the mahogany drawers. The top most drawers held many panties white ones, black ones, brown and so forth. None of the panties looked as extravagant as the dress she was given; they seem to be plan and bought recently. The drawer below that one held tops that a young adult may wear. Some of the shirts had popular internet memes and random jokes on them while others were just blouses and T-shirts. Below that drawer was a compartment full of pants, mainly jeans from what she could see. She took a random pair of jeans, a red blouse that would hopefully cover her breasts if she were to become cold, and a pair of black panties. She stopped when she placed the panties around her feet; she pondered how her tail would feel in a confined space. At that thought, her ears drooped and her tail curled under her groin. She opened the door her Mistress exited from and looked into the hall. To her right was a small painting that depicted an odd symbol, the symbol had the letters P-H-E-N-E-X circling around what looked like a wacky road map. Under the painting was a spear head, it seemed to glow in the light, the spear looked to be a mix between iron and bronze, the tip was stained with blood. She swiftly nabbed the spearhead. Her world shook around for a few moments before returning to normal. The hairs on her fur stood on end, they loosely swung in the breeze and she felt as if she could roar like a tigress. She rushed into her room and cur a circular hole into the back of the pants before running back and placing the spearhead in its original space. The feeling soon died down as it rested on its small stand.
  68.
  69. Akito returned to her room and went to put on her clothes. She slipped her top on before sliding on her panties and pants. Her tail easily slid through the hole on the back of her pants, it wiggled in glee to be fee. She was not surprised when all of the clothes fit perfectly on her body, she even expected it. She closed the drawers and dried the bathroom floor before exiting the room. She closed her door and gazed on the spearhead, as she walked past she thought she saw a tiger walking away in the reflection of the blade. She walked down the stairs to find out she was on the third floor of the building. On the second floor only one door stood at the steps but Akito felt that she should not enter it; the scent of her Mistress was strong there. She decided to walk to the ground floor where her Mistress was finalizing a transaction.
  70.
  71. "Yes all you have to do is sprinkle this over your crops and..." Amelia looked over to Akito and grimaced before ending the conversation with the customer.
  72.
  73. "Akito! What are you wearing!?" Akito looked down and felt disappointed.
  74.
  75. "I got dressed as you asked Mistress." Amelia sighed
  76.
  77. "Yes but people can see your ears and tail!" She pushes Akito back up the stairs.
  78.
  79. "Change into something more appropriate, now!" Akito walked up the stairs and sighed loudly, she had the feeling that this might happen.
  80.
  81. Akito walked back up the dust filled stairs to her bedroom. The Spearhead seemed to glare at her as she passed, the feeling of exhilarating energy filling her body as she brushed by it. She walked into her room to find a new pair of baggy jeans that could easily contain her tail in one of the pant legs and a baseball cap for the Minnesota Vikings. She threw her used pants to the side as she replaced them with the new, more comfortable ones. After slipping on the hat, she walked down the stairs and to her Mistress who was waiting at the foot of the steps. She handed Akito a list that read "Akito's Maid duties". She sighed at the name of the list and then she was handed a pair of earmuffs.
  82.
  83. "You are to wear those at all times in my garden. Go to the first floor and enter the door at the foot of the stairs, then take a right." Akito nodded before going up the stairs for the second time today. She began to become slightly board with the constant movement and let out a huff when she reached the door. Her fingers curled around the circular doorknob as she opened it. Before her was a whole new section of the house. She had just entered a hallway with three doors the first door was about ten paces forward from her current location, the second was to her right and the third was five paces to her left. She looked at all three of the identical wooden doors and then to the same crystal-esk handles on the three. She took a few steps forward into the hallway; on her right she saw a painting that depicted a faun in a clearing. The faun's eyes seemed to look at her while she gazed on the painting, plant life surrounded the faun but a small patch of blackness covered the back legs of the relaxing creature. When she was satisfied with that painting she spun around and saw a new painting. A man with two heads looked back at her, his white toga loosely hanging on him and the black background made it pop-out into existence. His right and left hand both held a key that looked to be exactly the same, under the man was a phrase in Latin that read
  84.
  85. "Eligere ad ostium posterum, tunc viam vobis demonstro.". Akito shrugged, not knowing any Latin at all, before walking into the garden. She slipped on the earmuffs before walking to yet another hallway; she looked at her chore sheet to direct her. It told her to go to the
  86.
  87. "M.Drake" room; she looked along the walls of the hallway and found a sign pointing to the room she must go to. She entered a glass dome that seemed to spew sunlight from every edge of the room, before her laid a single row of three pots that had small sprouts exiting from the dirt. The instructions read
  88.
  89. "Pull out the Mandrakes and let them relax for a minute before putting them back." Akito tilted her head before pulling at one of the sprouts, a disfigured dirt cover head and body easily came out of its earthen prison. It seemed to awaken rather abruptly as it shook about in her hands, opening its mouth. Akito looked at this creature with disgust; she places the creature back into its pot and marveled at it as it replanted itself until it looked as if it was never removed. She repeated this act two more times before exiting the Mandrake room. She walked out of the room and into the hall of three doors. She looked at her to-do list and smiled.
  90.
  91. "Ok, so now I have to clean the rest-" she cut herself off when the writing on the paper erased itself. She looked on the front and back of the now blank sheet of paper with fright before a sentence in red, bolded and underlined letters formed on the sheet. It read
  92.
  93. "See me now."
  94.
  95. Akito stared, mortified at the sentence before rushing out of the halls. She turned around in mid-run to close the doors, but she froze again as she watched the doors shut. She stopped for a moment before shaking her head and moving down stairs. Then, many confusing events attacked her senses. In the garden, the sun's embrace touched the rooms while Nix's blanket was draped outside. She may have lost track of time but she decided to rush down the steps to hear, laughter? She felt that the laughter was out of place in a residence such as this. She walked across the hall and into a living room that was adjacent to the main shopping area. The room contained a throw-rug in front of a fireplace along with two filled reclining chairs. The first was filled by her mistress who was still wearing her work attire; she glared at Akito and snapped her fingers once.
  96.
  97. Akito looked about the room and saw that nothing was changed, she sighed as she looked down. She saw that her clothes had been transformed into the maid fetish suit from before, her tail flicked about now that it was free to do so but she huffed in defeat at her Mistress. The man in the second chair was wearing an elegant black hemmed suit that made Akito's eyes drift all over it, her eyes would latch onto random parts of his body and her mind would fantasize about it while tossing random adjectives at his body.
  98.
  99. "So this is your Familiar?" He stood and walked to Akito, he towered over her small frame at about six foot five. His green eyes analyzed every inch of her body as Amelia nodded.
  100.
  101. "She is my new Familiar, my little Akito."She said with a gleeful tone "Kiki, make us some food, make us some..." The man spoke up as Amelia pondered the dish.
  102.
  103. "Bring us some Hors d'oeuvres with a Veal siding." Amelia chuckled for a moment too long before shaking her head.
  104.
  105. "Kiki, make us some turkey sandwiches, the kitchen is to your left." She pointed to the door as Rordan's eyes locked onto Amelia's, Akito took this chance to exit the room and enter the kitchen. She looked over the gas powered stove to look at the monstrous refrigerator; she opened it slowly to see a wide array of items. Akito believed that she could find any type of food inside of this gateway of food; Amelia was obviously OCD because of the way the foods were alphabetized. She took out a loaf of bread, a breast of turkey, she took some plates that were in an adjacent cabinet and made three sandwiches which she put on the plates. She was about to open the door when she heard Rordan and Amelia speak.
  106.
  107. "So you named her after your last one?" Rordan asked before slurping his tea
  108.
  109. "What else was I supposed to do with her? Let her die while I got away?" Rordan sighed loudly.
  110.
  111. "That is not what I asked." Akito's heart warmed at the memory of being saved from her terrible fate, she opened the door and placed the plate of food down on the table. Rordan's eager hand snatched two of the three sandwiches; he chomped on one of them and spoke with a full mouth.
  112.
  113. "Oh yes. Akito, a blowjob please." Akito stiffened and turned to face him.
  114.
  115. "Pardon me?" Rordan looked her in the eyes, the menacing green orbs piercing her.
  116.
  117. "A blowjob, now." Akito sighed and looked at her Mistress for assistance, Amelia did not respond.
  118.
  119. "My god this Man is an Ass!" She thought to herself and balled her fists, she opened her mouth to say something to her Mistress but she felt man like hands squeezing her neck.
  120.
  121. "What was that thought? Something about me being an Ass?" Rordan asked as he strengthened his grip on Akito's neck, Amelia turned her head away to look away from Akito.
  122.
  123. Akito shook in his grasp; she opened her mouth to scream out to Amelia. The moment her jaw unhinged she let out a cry.
  124.
  125. A muffled sound whimpered into the ears of the three patrons. Akito swiftly brought her hands to her now gaged mouth. She bit down on it and a clinking noise resonated from her mouth. She turned her head to see a metal, most likely steel, ring gag. The longer she looked the more of her mouth she could see, her tongue sloppily sloshed about on her teeth as her mouth flesh convulsed. A sticky, fleshy click could be heard as she tried to form words. Amelia shifted in her seat, her body turned to the right so she could not see Akito's face. Akito thought for a moment and then realized that if she lowed her head she could see up her Mistress' skirt.
  126.
  127. Amelia turned her head to Akito with a scowl, her black heels connected to Akito's face with a moderate amount of force. Akito soon fell to the ground with a yelp. Her tail soon curled under her dress, between her legs and her ears folded down. Akito's arms were lifted by phantom hands that hugged her arms on her back. Akito struggled as her legs soon folded in the same way. She was unable to do much more than flail about on the floor. Rordan chuckled loudly; he inched closer to Akito's face holding a black strap. She maneuvered her head in many directions in the attempt to throw his hands off their course but soon he pulled her tail. After a lewd moan from the cat maid her head descended to the carpet, Rordan picked up her head and blindfolded her. A rage began to fill into Akito, she turned her head in the direction of Amelia as she felt her empathy pick up her Mistress' rage. Amelia was now staring at Rordan copping feels on Akito, her foot tapped on the floor as she glared at the hulk of a man. Rordan finally pulled the last straw as he melted the collar she gave to Akito; Rordan quickly wrapped a new brown collar around Akito's neck. Amelia jumped from her seat with a thunderous thud.
  128.
  129. "Rordan! How dare you!" Her monstrous voice echoed through the room.
  130.
  131. "If you ever want to do business with me ever again..." She sighed and composed herself.
  132.
  133. "Never ever step foot on my property again, send Miru and no other." Akito raised her head and tried to see what was going on before a hand touched her forehead. Her eyes shut and her body fell limp, she was asleep.
  134.
  135. Chapter 3: M
  136.
  137. Her eyes creaked open and quickly shut to the sudden burst of sunlight that rested on her face. Her eyes lazily trace about the room as her cat instincts incessantly tell her to relax and lay in the sun. After mentally probing her body she realized that she was not laying down as a human. Her legs were brought up to her chest, her arms laid in front of her and her chin laid on them as her tail curled around to her face, gently tickling her nose.
  138.
  139. She sneezed as the fur caressed her nose, lifting her head in the process to see a sleeping Amelia across from her. The knocked out Amelia continued to dream as Akito crawled to her sleeping form. Her legs made a cracking sound as she stood; she winced at the sudden pain as she examined her sleeping Mistress. Amelia’s body was surrounded by a circle of intricate papers, most of them written in Latin. Quite a few of them showed illustrations of ordinary people with overarching shadows behind them. The designs and words perplexed Akito’s mind to the point where she threw the papers to the floor in frustration. A clinking sound was heard, Akito’s head swiftly adjusted to meet the location of the sound with wide cat like eyes.
  140.
  141. A pen, a pen fell from Amelia’s hand. Akito tilted her head as she went to pick it up, after reaching out Amelia’s hand grabbed Akito’s. Akito’s fur bristled in shock, her hand shivering. Amelia’s eyes slowly met Akito’s.
  142.
  143. “What is your name?” She asked in an exhausted voice, Akito could feel the fatigue resonating from her Mistress. Her ears folded down as she kneeled before Amelia. Amelia yanked Akito’s hand upwards and forced her to focus on her eyes.
  144.
  145. “What is your name?” Akito scrunched her nose in confusion as she answered.
  146.
  147. “Akito Wahrheit, your sla-“Amelia wraps her arms around Akito’s small frame. Pressure is released in Akito’s back as the bear hug continues, she gasps as a grin spreads on Amelia’s lips.
  148.
  149. “I was frightened, and you’re wrong.” She says as she rubs her cheek on the chocking Akito, her skin begins to become blue.
  150.
  151. “You’re my pet not my slave.” She coos as she releases Akito, who gasps and wretches for air, and waits for her to stop. She reaches out and scratches the chin of her pet, chuckling. She seems to have been bluffing the whole time, waiting and watching Akito as she slept but through this playful moment something seems to be amiss.
  152.
  153. Amelia’s eyes look down for a moment and a sense of dread flows into Akito. She sighs loudly, hoisting Akito to her lap with ease. Akito began to feel guilty at her Mistress’ feelings.
  154.
  155. “Did I make her feel like this? Did I awaken her at the wrong time?” She asked herself in her mind, Amelia shook her head.
  156.
  157. “Kitten, you neither harmed me nor enraged me. Do not fret on what you could have done but what you can do.” She says as her hands caressed Akito’s sensitive cat ears. The familiar responded with a deep, satisfied purr that seemed to shake the walls around them.
  158.
  159. “Such an adorable kitten~” She said with a informal giggle, showing Akito that nothing was wrong. Akito began to push into the scratches; a jingling sound was heard that stopped the two of them. They looked down to Akito’s neck.
  160.
  161. There, before their eyes, was the same black leather collar that Rordan left on his last Visit. The collar’s compact ring wiggled about as Akito touched it, her fingers examining where her eyes could not.
  162.
  163. Amelia looked down at this, her face seeming longer than it once was. Akito tilted her head and reached out with a hand, she tugged onto her Mistress’s shirt.
  164.
  165. “Mistress? What’s wrong and what is this thing?” She says as she tried to remove the collar, which she could not do on the first try. She soon sighed once before gripping both sides of the collar, she pulled with all of her might but she is unable to do so. She scratches at it and continues to attempt her liberation. Amelia places a hand on Akito’s head.
  166.
  167. “I tried my best, every spell and ritual. It seems…Rordan’s magick is too versatile.” Amelia says with a sigh, her hands dancing about themselves as she worries. Akito pressed her head into Amelia’s chest and sighed gently.
  168.
  169. “You tried your best, Mistress, you did all you can.” Amelia sighed and nodded before holding the head of her Familiar.
  170.
  171. “Dear, I am going to keep trying ok?” She said with a lament-filled look. Her finger poked Akito’s head forcefully. Akito held her head as she fell backwards, screamed, and writhed across the floor before falling asleep. Her body went limp before she fell back asleep.
  172.
  173. “Damn.” Amelia said through teary eyes.
  174.
  175. “I could not even have the heart to tell her the fifth time.” Amelia picked up her sleeping body and hoisted her to her bed. After Akito was tucked in she exited the room.
  176.
  177. She walked across the room while her eyes hugged the floor. Her slumped form made her hunch as worries coerced her thoughts. Soon her reaper like stare moved to her sleeping Familiar, her lip quivered as she wiped away her last tear.
  178.
  179. “I decided, it is for the best you don’t know Kiki. It would break us.” She says before kissing her hand for an exaggerated moment. A kiss was blown from her palm as she closed the door behind her.
  180.
  181. Apollo rushed past the earth five times. In that time, Akito had begun to wonder what was wrong with Amelia. Her Mistress would constantly watch her, not as she normally would but like a mother protecting her children. Whenever the slightest danger came near Akito Amelia would intervene.
  182.
  183. Today was different though. Amelia walked down the stairs of her house and approached her Familiar who was working behind the cash register. Akito readjusted the Yankees ball cap on her head along with her blouse before bowing to Amelia.
  184.
  185. “Good morning Miss.” She said with a smile before turning back to the front of the store. Amelia grabbed her arm and forced Akito to look at her.
  186.
  187. “I am going to go out. Not like the normal times, I will be gone for a full twelve hours. Can you handle me coming home around two in the morning?” She asked with burning, frightened eyes. Her hands quivering as she held Akito’s sides.
  188.
  189. “I should be, Mom.” She said with an irritable sigh. “Why can’t you trust me? All I did was black out when your friend was over. I was surprised to not see you when I woke up.”
  190.
  191. Amelia sighed and rubbed her temples as she looked into Akito’s blue eyes. Her head pushing through the air until it connected to Akito’s forehead.
  192.
  193. “Just…watch the shop, ok? If anything bad happens give me a signal.” She says before turning away, her right hand not following her as Akito gripped it.
  194.
  195. “Please, please start trusting me again. I did nothing wrong, right? I should also be safe.” She says with a content look and a kiss on her cheek. Amelia rubbed away her light blush before nodding to her. Akito smiled warmly as she let her Mistress leave.
  196.
  197. Akito rubbed her throbbing head as she looked around the compact store. The entrance was a solid steel door with a viewing hole at the five foot mark. It looks out of place in the shop. To the left of the door was three racks, all of them pertained to herbs. The first row was home grown sage, peppermint and ginger was among the ilk. The second shelf held wild picked items mushrooms, weeds and incense. The third shelf will forever have pieces of paper on it that read “Might be out of stock, ask to see if we have any more.” She grimaced at the rack, the rack that was for everything magically in tune. She always felt like a drug dealer when she gave things like that away.
  198.
  199. The right of the shop was the road most traveled. It held most of the impulse buys, rocks and the like, along with some very flashy bracelets, books and pendants that littered the wall. She sighed at the lack of activity in the shop. Some random passersby walked about the area before finally exiting without a purchase. Her ears perked up as the front door opened.
  200.
  201. “Hello! Welcome! I hope you find what you need.” She said in a cheerful voice before sitting on the stool behind the counter. She poked at the little buttons on the cash register as her silence was interrupted by the sound of rubber taping on the floor.
  202.
  203. She turned and waved at the tall, slender man before her. Her eyes trailed from his face and downward. His yellow eyes lazily looked at her while he ran fingers through his lengthy black hair, she felt her heart jump at the sudden action. Unlike his informal face his body was in quite the formal attire. His black tux and tie, along with the yellow eyes told her that he was here for something in the back.
  204.
  205. “Could you please bring Akito down here?” He asked with a Germanic accent that rung in the room. Akito’s form stopped moving for a moment as she eyed this man with a new feeling, fear.
  206.
  207. “I am Akito.” She said in a somewhat whisper of a tone. The man tilted his head and leaned in closer, his eyes groping her form.
  208.
  209. “I see Amelia has gotten a new familiar!” He says with a loud, rambunctious laugh.
  210.
  211. “I am M, it is a pleasure to meet you.” He says after extending an enormous hand that soon engulfed Akito’s. He gave her a cocky smile.
  212.
  213. “I am here to pick up something, a seal in the back with Phenex written on it.” Akito frowned as she thought, before nodding.
  214.
  215. “I will be just a moment.” She pronounced before walking into the upstairs hall and plucking the seal. Her hands began to heat up as she held it, the rock feeling like it was on fire. She felt the flames but they were a warm heat, not an incinerating one.
  216.
  217. “Magic never stops to amaze me…” She hefts the light, large stone slab downstairs to the customer. M smiled at the sight of her, his yellow eyes seem to glint as he stares at her.
  218.
  219. “Ah, thank you. Now, if you could just drop that or smash it or…something then I will almost be on my way.” He said with a trickster’s smile as he leaned on the counter adjacent to himself. Akito raised a brow at his laid back posture, his patience for her to destroy what he had bought.
  220.
  221. “You want to buy-“She says before m interrupts.
  222.
  223. “Don’t question it, just end its existence. Alright? I already paid for it so it is my property.” His gay smile seems to waver as M’s mind ponders another excuse. Akito looks down to the odd slab of stone in her arms. The heat makes her fingers tighten around it, maybe the warmth would continue if she held it longer. The warmth was feeling more comforting to her now and much more so as she looked at it. Two white glove covered hands clapped before her eyes.
  224.
  225. Akito jumped backwards, about a foot, in fright. The slab falling from her arms in the process, soon it kissed the floor. The hollow kiss was short lived as the rock clashed with the cement floor, soon shattering in a vivid display of rainbow like colors. The flash dispersed within seconds, making M smile. He reached forward and patted her cap covered head gently.
  226.
  227. “Such a sweet girl, I would give you a treat like the former Akito but it seems that you’re actually partly human.” Akito looked down at the blatant fact and sighed once as M’s hand caressed her head once again.
  228.
  229. “I will give you something to remember me by, Little One.” He said as his fingertips soon dug into her head. His nails pierced the thin skin on her cranium to the point of incision, minuscule droplets of blood trailed down the sides of her head. She raised her hands above her head, trying to retaliate as her body thrashed.
  230.
  231. In response to her futile effort he lifted her, easily, off the ground with his hand. Her body thrashed and struggled under his influence. Her head jerked from side to side as her eyes shifted from reality to white flashes. She saw a woman in-between flashes, she seemed familiar to Akito. Her long auburn hair reached her bottom, her emerald eyes shining in the dim light, and her stature reminded herself of…herself. Her heart went into a paroxysm inside of her as M laid her down on the counter.
  232.
  233. “La-..La-r” She pants out as she rests on the counter. M smiles down at her.
  234.
  235. “Yes, now you should remember Laura. Your beloved sister, your twin that you grew up with and your best friend.” He said with a devilish smile, light seeming to bend around him as he vanished from all reality. Letting Akito ponder on the newly remembered information, her eyes filled with water as she sobbed to herself.
  236.
  237. Chapter 4: Cleave Me
  238.
  239. Akito awoke as the crimson, setting sun crossed her sleepy lids. Soon her head raised itself and looked about the darkened room. Her ears folding at the feeling of dread. Laura, her sister, the one that was...erased from her mind. Why? Was all she could ask herself as she tried to remember her.
  240.
  241. “She liked....she liked...” She repeated as she shook her head on the counter, her force knocking a cup or two to the hardwood floor.
  242.
  243. “What did she like?!” She screeched before jumping from the counter and stomping on he ground like a child. Her tail unfurled from her pants and flicked about. Her eyes welling up in an aggravating hunger for an itch. She rubbed them gently before dashing to the phone.
  244.
  245. “555-6729.” She repeated constantly to herself as her fingers pounded onto the phone, a small crack forming on the old dial up's frame. The soft hum of a ring echoed into her feline ears, they twitched slightly at the softest noise. A click was heard.
  246.
  247. “Hello.” A familiar, soft voice traveled through her ears. Memories flooding hr in that second of a moment before she shouted into the phone.
  248.
  249. “Laura! Hello! We need to talk, as soon as possible god have I missed-” She was cut off as her heart fell.
  250.
  251. “ Thank you for calling Laura Wahrheit I am out of the house at the moment but...” The message trails on for another few seconds before a muffled click resonates in her ear. She knew she should leave a message but...what?
  252.
  253. Should it be short, long and or important? Should she know? Akito contemplated these things in seconds before saying.
  254.
  255. “Hello, this is Akito from The Antiquities down the road in Dinky Town. This is a call for Laura Wahrheit we have something for you to pick up and you have another day for holding the product before we send it back. Hope to see you soon.” She sighs as she puts the phone down, her heart racing as her eyes stung with salty tears.
  256.
  257. She began to clean the store, sweeping up the cups that had recently fallen in her tantrum, and washing the glass containers. With a melancholy sigh she looked down on the reflective floor, only one hour before closing time.
  258.
  259. “We can't expect her to come here the first day.” She repeated to herself as she curled her fist, punching her other, open, hand. She choked back tears as her mind wandered. She began to wonder why she suddenly could not recall most of her past memories and when she uncovered one it felt forced to her.
  260.
  261. Her hands gripped her head gently as she thought about how Amelia had been acting strange. She was starting to have more of a “motherly” connection to her than an owner standpoint. Rordan was also confusing, everything that comes to her mind about that night just becomes blank. A white light dissolves her thoughts when she feels remotely close.
  262.
  263. The front door opens, but Akito ignores that for the moment. She shakes her head and twists her form in anguish as someone enters. Her tail flicks about as she tries to control her irritated state, her ears also flapping back and forth as she swung her head.
  264.
  265. “Are you...alright?” Akito stopped to turn to her sister. Her waist touching black hair shimmering in the light, her green eyes glinting as she looked at Akito and her crimson one piece fluttered as she stepped to her previous sister. Akito starred in awe for a moment, soon that moment turned into minuets. Laura waved her hand in front of Akito before Akito shook her head.
  266.
  267. “Ah, Miss Wahrheit I am happy to see you.” She said in a daze like state, her eyes inter locking with hers. Laura turned her head from side to side, looking about the room.
  268.
  269. “ I was told I had a package here? I've never been here before.” She soon crossed her arms the the now composed Akito. Akito's tail and ears were tucked away with swift ease.
  270.
  271. “Yes, a...ring is here for you.” She stammered out as her feet shakily walked to the back room, motioning for Laura to stay. She scrambled about when the door shut behind her, she had to find something fast. She dug through a pile of Non-lethals or as the label said “NL”. Soon she removed a silver looking ring, the sides of the ring were decorated with different wind patterns. The topaz gem on the top shined in the dimmest of light, but Akito's keen eyes could see a carving of a motionless woman in it.
  272.
  273. She decided that this ring would be the best idea to try on herself first. She slipped on the ring and felt no change, no difference in what she was before this point which forced her to smile. She tried to project her energy about but nothing happened.
  274.
  275. “Ring must be dead.” She said in response to its lack of magical ability before exiting the room and heading to her past sister. Smiling as she handed the cold metal to Laura. She smiled down at her favorite gem and looked back to Akito.
  276.
  277. “How much do I owe you?” She asked as she reached for her wallet. Akito dumbly tilted her head before proclaiming.
  278.
  279. “What do you mean? The paper work says you already paid for it, why should you pay more?” Laura nodded and giggled as she slipped on the ring, the Topaz once again glittering in the light.
  280.
  281. “I suppose you're right.” She said with a giggle, her eyes groping the gem as she looked down at it.
  282.
  283. Akito gulped as her heart pounded, the need to let her know was starting to overwhelm her. She bit her tongue as she attempted to keep herself silent. She decided to do the next best thing.
  284.
  285. “If you want, you could hire a psychic here and we could...see your sister's killer.” After that sentence Akito learned what true silence was It was like the two of them both stepped breathing and their hearts stopped pumping blood at the exact second. Laura's expression darkened as her eyes welled up in tears, collapsing onto the ground in the fetal position as she wailed.
  286.
  287. “You bitch! Shut up, shut up! I want nothing more to do with moochers that say they can help.” She says with a sob, her hands curling around her head as she tried to shut out the world.
  288.
  289. “Sister...please cleave me.” Akito says as she sits next to Laura, whose eyes widen. She remembers her sister's tenacious knack for learning. Reality seemed to be distant as she remembers something from another time. A feud between her sister and herself, the definition of the word cleave. She remembers stomping off after learning cleave means to attach and to slice. She shook her head as she stared at the woman before her.
  290.
  291. “You and I shared a room for two years, after we moved to Minneapolis, and you would help me build a fort.” Akito says as she inches closer to her, her breath softly caressing her form. Laura pushed Akito back and screeched again.
  292.
  293. “Bullshit! I saw her...life-lifeless body. She was cut up by some slasher.” She began to crawl away from her as if she were a vile mutation. Her tears dirtied the previously clean floor as se stumbled out the door. Akito's cat instincts shocked though her form as she bolted up from her seat.
  294.
  295. Akito dashed from the shop and followed her into the street before halting at a blood curdling sound. The sound of two cars crashing against each other followed by a scream.
  296.
  297. Laura ran from the shop and dashed across the open downtown street. Her head turned at to face the first car, screaming loudly at the fear of being run over. To her luck, the car swerved to her left and created a head on collision with the other lane. Leading Akito to believe that she was killed, giving Laura time to escape.
  298.
  299. Akito knelt before the crash and stared a moment before balling. Her eyes drifted across the crash and looked down at the growing pool of liquid. Due to the dark of night, the liquid was darkened which made it impossible for her to tell f it was her sister's blood or some sort of oil. Snot welled up in her nose, preventing her from sniffing the air to prove her judgment. Soon she broke down and just laid herself onto the cold, hard sidewalk moaning in sorrow as she waited.
  300.
  301. A forceful hand pushed her back into the store, where the door promptly closed behind her assailant. Amelia looked down at Akito and growled deeply at her familiar.
  302.
  303. “What in the vast space of hell did you do while I was gone?!” She raves to Akito, she brought her muddy business shoes down on the previously clean floor in anguish. Akito gently lifted her head, with a dazed look, and starred at Amelia.
  304.
  305. “I just wanted to see her again, when I remembered her I just wanted to be with her. Laura...I killed my sister.” Her eyes rolled across the room as Amelia breathed in this information. She raised a hand to her chin and thought a moment before kneeling and caressing Akito's body.
  306.
  307. “Do you remember what helped you remember?” She asks as her hands runs across her back, fingers locking around her hair.
  308.
  309. “Some guy named M...he reminded me.” Amelia nodded as she touched Akito's head gently. Akito spassemed and fell faint.
  310.
  311. “Then you will forget him as well.” Amelia said as she delved into her familiar's memories. Pushing out what she learned today and making her believe that she was the victim of the car crash. She began to pet her head after the spell.
  312.
  313. “Such a good girl, now try to remember who the new you is.” She says, smiling as she turns her head to the two cars.
  314.
  315. The first car, a rainbow colored Toyota Camry, bust into flames. The pillar of flame lit up the nights sky as the driver's seat door was kicked from the inside. Amelia smiled as she watched the other woman burn inside of the car.
  316.
  317. “I'm not going to hurt you nor save you. I know you will be fine anyway.” She says as the alarm of an ambulance is heard near the location. Amelia closes the door to here shop as the flame is snuffed out by some unknown force and the stomping at the driver's door halts. Two hot, coal like eyes press themselves up to the glass of the car and sketch the antiquities shop.
  318.
  319. Amelia clapped her hands together as she looked about the room. She had paced Akito in the armchair behind the cash registrar. Akito's hands supported her head as her form slept, Amelia snapped her fingers to awaken her.
  320.
  321. “Kiki! I'm home.” She proclaims to her now awakened familiar. She lifts her head and looks about before gently rubbing her eyes, which suddenly widen. She stands in an abrupt fright and bolts for the door. Amelia promptly halts her with a hug.
  322.
  323. “I'm glad-” Amelia says before Akito pushes her back a little. Amelia stands, astonished at this forceful exodus.
  324.
  325. “Why? What have you been doing to me? Erasing my memory?” Her head bolts about the room as she senses her surroundings. She turns back to Amliea.
  326.
  327. “Where is my sister!” Amelia's eyes narrow in disgust. She rubs her face gently and pets Akito's head once, Akito backs away at the touch. Amelia balls a fist and grits her teeth, her will forcing Akito to her knees.
  328.
  329. “How dare you, I saved you. I should be more important than what ever I can do and your sister.” She promptly backhands Akito swiftly, the slap ringing in her cat like ears as she looks up at her.
  330.
  331. “You've been messing with my mind, my well being. I heard you! You were going to make me forget about everything I hold dear.” She says as she tries to struggle, Amelia's will preventing such. Amelia smirks at this and pets her head.
  332.
  333. “We already talked about this, you're not Amanda anymore. You're Akito, mine and mine alone. I own your body, mind, heart and soul. When I order you to do something you comply.” She snarls out as Akito's form shrinks. Her skin begins to itch as black bristles sprout from every space on her form. Her cries for help become miniscule mews and she arches her back as her internal anatomy reshapes. Her hands begin to swell for agonizing moments before the now pudgy fingers deflate and group, hair going between them as a paw starts to form. Her feet go through the same experience as her nails straighten and curve, retracting themselves when complete. Her teeth become jagged and carnivorous as her nose merges with her frontal face. Her pupils painlessly shift into sits as her hips readjust themselves. Over time, the changes complete and she now sits on the floor as a black cat. She hisses at Amelia, who bats her head.
  334.
  335. “How dare you do that, I love you. Remember Kiki, you were in human from because I willed I and now you are this because I willed it. You no longer have control, you're mine.” She says as her hands caress her cat's back with extreme ease. Soon after she stands and stares down at her victim, a smirk rising over her face. Akito does as she was forced, made to stare, starring at her as her ears flicked about.
  336.
  337. “I can change you back but you have to be good girl.” She says as she picks up the kitten and cradles her.
  338.
  339. “Next time you will not be so lucky to have me be so kind. You will no longer be human again at that point.” She says with a giggle, her eyes darkening. Akito's collar wiggles a little as a bell sprouts from it. The silver bell begins to ring loudly to the point where Amelia drops Akito.
  340.
  341. Akito feels her body vibrate at amazing speeds, the glass in the room shatters on the once clean floor. Amelia screams as Akito feels an awkward air about her, as if she was and was not at the same time. Light bent around her sight until everything became colorless, her eyes blinking constantly as the light invaded her sight. She tried to reject it, to move from her location but she was unable. The last thing she heard before her senses numbed was a call from Amelia.
  342.
  343. “Akito!”
  344.
  345. Chapter 5: No, Seriously, Just Tell Me.
  346.
  347. Akito's eyes were finally able to shut as the lack of color consumed her eyes. Her tail curled under her belly and her legs quivered as she felt some sort of sharp gravel under her paws. She hissed in the direction of Amelia, she turned her head from the blinding sunlight. Amelia was gone, she was alone and she had a wounded paw, the word “wonderful” was constantly crossing her mind.
  348.
  349. She looked to her left and right to fully take in her location. To her right was some sort of market place that had some amounts of people walking about, speaking a foreign language she did not recognize. To her left was a large gothic cathedral that was being frequented at a mass for the moment. She internally sighed as she looked over the cars vulgarizing her on a rotunda. She sniffed the ground in front of her, drinking in the sweet scent of parmesan bread. After further exception she found that her small circle connected to a park where families were playing about. A child of Hispanic decent approached her, arms open wide.
  350.
  351. “¡Mira Mamá! Esta es un gato negro.” The child proclaimed in flawless Italian, which made Akito's heart jump slightly.
  352.
  353. “Italy?! I'm in Italy, what...this is the place I was...teleported to?” She asks herself as she jumps from the grappling arms of the child. She sprinted to her right; it was surprisingly easy for her in cat form. She ducked under tables, maneuvered around crushing human feet and tried to make sure she could at least know where she was. She could not read the other language but she did begin to memorize land marks.
  354.
  355. She began to slow in the market. People tried to call her over with idiotic cat like actions to the point where she lifted her nose in a result. Most laughed at her for this. Her tail swaying gently under her as she contemplated how she would get out of this one.
  356.
  357. Her thinking was halted, however, when two great hands clasped around her torso. Akito mewed loudly and scratched the air relentlessly, the feeling of baring claws influencing the rage as they parted her soft flesh. She began to think of all the things she would never be able to do. Her mind flooded her with memories, what she could remember, and she began to relive her life in the past few seconds. One of the hands detached from her, caressing her head while M's voice rung out.
  358.
  359. “Hello Satisfied Little One, how are you?” He asks in a composed tone with a hint of aggravation. He wore the same black suit from before and seemed to be exactly like himself from earlier that day. She licked his fingers in the form of a thank you as her tail wiggled back and forth across his chest. His skin was salty with sweat which He chuckled and continued to rub her form.
  360.
  361. He began to walk north to a large, old mansion. The scaffolding was in shambles and Akito saw a small clay brick fall from the roof, shattering on the earth. M scratches his head as he looks at the bronze knockers that safeguarded the green, oak entrance. She looked at the velvet red of the house paint, it could use a vast amount of new coats added to it. It has no windows but one above the doorway, she presumes it to be the bedroom. He takes out a small, ruby looking key and unlocked the door.
  362.
  363. “My abode, Little One.” He says as he walks past the doors. His shoes click on the hardwood floor as he enters. He closes the hard door behind him; oddly enough there was no lock on this side of the doors. The cracks between the doors filled in to the wall, slowly becoming part of the wall itself. Akito gulped as her one point of escape was taken from her. She looked around the room to see that she was in an enclosed, bricked four by four room. She mewed quietly as M petted her head.
  364.
  365. “Don't worry Little One, you're fine here. This world is as open to you as it is to me.” She tilts her head at this, her eyes shifting as one of the walls breaks in half. A crack falls down the center of the wall before them, opening to let in a gasp filling amount of light. Her eyes scanned the blinding doorway before her, her tail flicking about gently in the airy place. M walked forward into the room, his heels no longer clicking as a carpet connected to his feet. He stretched his arms before placing Akito on the floor. She felt the soft, fluffy orange carpet beneath her and soon rolled in it. Her tail flicked about over the soft ground.
  366.
  367. “Ok Little One, I am guessing that you would like to go back now.” Akito shakes her head repeatedly as her body halts all other movements. M shakes his head at her, snapping his fingers as he jumps from his spot. He falls onto the air above her, floating weightlessly in the air as if he was being supported by an invisible chair. He smiled down at her and waved a hand in front of her eyes. Everything seemed dark around her but then everything was bright, as if she just blinked. She tried to crawl away but found it hard to do so with human hands.
  368.
  369. “I meant getting out of that form, Dear.” He said with a slight chuckle down at her. The transformation seemed to be instantaneous. He even dressed her in a pair of navy blue jeans, a plain white T-shirt that held a leaning tower of Pisa on it and a full set of undergarments. She shakily stood, the awkwardness of her body striking her quickly. She was forced to stumble about on the soft, cushioned floor before leaning on the far wall.
  370.
  371. “Why am I here?” She asked in a frantic tone. Her head whipped about the room, finally able to examine it before she felt a cold hand on her head. His hands massaged her feline ears, forcing her to purr. She leaned into him and gently licked his hands when she could.
  372.
  373. “I see her failsafe’s are still in place.” Akito stops and looks up at him.
  374.
  375. “What are you talking about?” Her tone more calm and her blue eyes focus on him.
  376.
  377. “You don't know? Of course you would not know...You have things inside of you, not living things but triggers.” He said as he rubbed her ear tips, forcing her to the ground because of this.
  378.
  379. “These triggers are what Amelia uses to control you with, why you seem to be more accepting of the ways she has been treating you. His hands slow to a stop and he sighs once.
  380.
  381. “You're not the first, nor the last of these actions, I took pity on you. No one should be lead to believe that they are serving a greater cause when not.” He says as he turns his head to the ceiling. The wooden ceiling opens up into a circular motion, letting a pure light fall from it. He shields his eyes as he does so, his other hand flipping off the light. Akito stood slowly and adjusted herself before looking into the hole; airy musics rang in the room before the hole shut. Her eyes turned to him.
  382.
  383. “M, I'm going to ask a controversial question.” She said with a sigh, composing herself before her 'friend'.
  384.
  385. “What are you? I seriously doubt you're just some sort of over powered mage that can manipulate reality at will.” His head snapped in her direction, a half smile on his face and a sneer on his eyes.
  386.
  387. “You're very rude Akito; I did not ask you what you are now.” He says in an irritated tone, rubbing his temples at what he considered to be an outburst. He turned his head to her once again.
  388.
  389. “I don't want to inform you, there is no point. You would know and you may just use the information for some silly reason, but I do know that you will know.” He says with a forlorn look out his window, the Eiffel Tower in the distance and a few children rushing about with bread baskets. He chuckles to himself as he turns to Akito, who is looking wide eyed out the window.
  390.
  391. “We were just in Italy! How!?” She says as she crawls away from the man, his expression darkening as if light itself was being consumed by his very existence. He rose from his chair and walked to the ground where his golden eyes glowed an ominous light. His right hand rubbed her cheek gently
  392.
  393. “Little one, you need to calm.” He says as his hands snap to her ear tips, rubbing slowly. They started at the tip and snaked down to the base before going up again to the top, repeating every few moments. Akito let out a soft sigh, her form lying limp on the wall behind her. She felt nothing but love for him, as if he was every loveable thing in existence. A deep purr erupted from inside of her and he shook his head before letting go. Her fear engulfed her compassion like a whale feasting on a school of fish.
  394.
  395. “I was not aware that Amelia was using such strong triggers on her pets these days.” He tapped his chin gently and sat next to the comfortable kitten next to him. Her tail flicked about before she leaned her head onto him.
  396.
  397. “Will you help me?” Akito asked as her head turned to him, looking into his golden eyes. He shook his head and smirked, as if he knew what was to come. He drummed his fingers against his other fingers and craned himself to her.
  398.
  399. “I will not, but you already know someone that loves you enough to do so. I must congratulate him, though, he lied to you. This is always a good thing.” Akito's brow frowns as she stares at him.
  400.
  401. “I don't understand, who is he?” M places a hand on her head and closes his eyes for a few moments. He breaths deeply, returning to earth. His eyes open slowly, with a slightly concerned look at her.
  402.
  403. “You're not supposed to understand everything, Little One. You will in time, I have to complete some other...setbacks.” He says as his hand pats her head once.
  404.
  405. “I have changed my mind, I will assist you. Not fully but I will give you a chance.” He said as he lifted his right hand. Reality began to collapse onto itself as a colorless wind engulfed his palm. It whirled and screeched to the point where Akito plugged her ears to muffle the sound. Soon her eyes closed out of the straining force.
  406.
  407. “You can open your eyes Little One.” He said with a sight chuckle as she opened her eyes. She scanned for some sort of elephant in the room, but found none. In his hand was some sort of paper drenched in numbers, barcodes, and Italian writing.
  408.
  409. “Plane ticket to America, Minnesota. Non-stop flight first class.” Akito stops and gives him a puzzled look.
  410.
  411. “Let me get this straight. You can make a pocket dimension, change the form of animals into humans in an instant, create matter out of nothing and you are giving me a plane ticket?” She said with an astounded, audacious look on her face. He raised a hand and smiled blankly at her.
  412.
  413. “Of course. Teleportation has never been my strong suit and if I tried it people may see you or sense your teleportation. My spells have a distinct signature.” With a wayward smile he focused his eyes on hers for the last time. He waved his hand over her eyes in a swift motion, saying.
  414.
  415. “If you get on that plane, nothing will go wrong until you get off of it.” His voice says, resonating with the bustle of the Italian airport. People trekked by without a care in the world. She sighed and muttered to herself as she walked to “Puerta 8B” and sat in one of the many chairs to the crowded airline. She began to ponder why and how M did what he did.
  416.
  417. “Why would he teleport me when he said that teleportation was not the best of ideas?” She mumbled into the fray of voices. No one turned their head nor answered her silent outburst, keeping to themselves. She felt a cold hand on her shoulder, its owner's fingers gripping into it with a sense of control. Akito turned her head and saw a familiar face. Akito’s mouth forcibly smirking at the sight, her eyes starring with a mix of fear and lust.
