Ukraine and Russia has finally reached a boiling point and they may both declare war against each other. Russia first invaded Ukraine in an attempt to claim some old land back which 'belonged' to them, this led to the town being split into pro-Russian supporters and Ukraine supports and many fights broke out with Russia "winning" as they now occupy the territory. Now Russia has begun to move more tanks and infantry into Ukraine and the Ukraine Prime Minister feels he has no choice left but to declare war. This means the full Ukraine army will mobilize against Russia and a full scale war (with Europe and America who may send in armies to help) possibly breaking out. Already the USA has promised to send over military units to help support Ukraine and to "keep peace" and Sweden has even raised its military alert level due to the events.

[b][color=white]Pakistan Protesters Clash With Police[/color][/b]
Pakistan protesters have been clashing with the police as they march to the official Islamabad residence of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. The protesters are anti-government and are marching to the Prime Minister after being told to do so by two separate opposing party leaders. Many fear large scale violence will break out as protesters have been seen wielding axes and baseball bats. Police have so far done their best to prevent the violence with tear gas and other common anti-riot methods but the protesters are staying resilient. So far 264 people have reportedly been injured, including at least 26 policemen.

[b][color=white]India Economy Booming[/color][/b]
India's economy is booming as the country announces a 5.7% growth in just over three months, which is the quickest pace in two-and-a-half years. The growth was much higher than many analysts were expecting and the main reason for the growth is due to the government changing many policies revolving around businesses. The main change to the policies is tax; the government has tried to minimize tax litigation which means it is now more liable to invest in a business and thus creates a better building block for the economy as a whole.

[b][color=white]A&E deal will price VICE at $2.5 billion[/color][/b]
 A deal where A&E will purchase a ten-percent stake hold in VICE is going to increase VICE's value up to $2.5 billion. Vice would also be producing television shows for A&E's networks. A&E admits the deal was inspired by the hope to gain digital exposure from the large social medium.  Also, another large television network has shown interest in purchasing a ten-percent stake in VICE.  The Time Warner Cable Company has been discussing this with VICE in the past few weeks. VICE is a company known from YouTube, which is a channel with over five-million subscribers and over five-hundred million total views on the channel.  Shane Smith, the founder of VICE has visions to turn his network into "the next CNN", and "the next MTV".

[b][color=white]Malaysian Airlines cuts 6,000 jobs[/color][/b]
In order to cover the $1.9 billion overhaul which was caused by both jet disasters, Malaysian Airlines has to cut over six-thousand workers.  This will cause a 30% staff decrease from the original number of around twenty-thousand working for the airline already. Khazanah Nasional, who owns the largest stake in the company, says the overhaul will cover the fees to start a new airline that will take over the already existing Malaysian Airlines. Khazanah Nasional plans to revive Malaysian Airlines back to profitability by the year 2017, and to have the shares re-listed by the year 2019.  The two tragedies have increased the number of travelers in July 11%  from the year before.

[b][color=white]Ukraine to receive $1.5 billion in aid[/color][/b]
    The International Monetary Fund has agreed to prove $1.5 billion to the troubled nation of Ukraine. The Ukraine economy has been hitting by some significant financial loses due to the trouble with Russian Separatists. In April the IMF approved a $17 billion line of credit to Ukraine, part of a $27 billion international rescue of the economy, but the first releases of funds have yet to stabilize the hryvnia. Arseniy Yatsenyu, who is Ukraine's prime minister, has shown confidence that the economy will stabilize the weakened economy. Arseniy Yatsenyu shared this news via his personal Twitter account. However, Arseniy Yatsenyu has not always showed this side of confidence as earlier in the year when he commented about the country's economy he said "very difficult and very complicated, (as) the country is at war."

HBO is pairing up with Paramount TV in order to make Martin Scorsese’s [i]Shutter Island[/i] into a television series. Reportedly, the prequel shall star Leonardo DiCaprio and Mark Ruffalo as U.S. Marshals that are running an investigation on a hospital for the criminally insane. The current name for the series is [i]Ashecliffe[/i], named after the hospital, although the final call hasn’t been made yet. The pilot will be directed by Scorsese, and the screenplay will be written by [i]Shutter Island[/i]’s author, Dennis Lehane. At the moment of writing, casting has not been announced.

[b][color=white]Neil Yong Divorced[/color][/b]
[i]Rolling Stones[/i] claims that the [i]Heart of Gold[/i] singer Neil Young has filed a divorce from his wife Pegi Young on July 29th after 36 years of marriage. The pair hasn’t made a comment on the split yet. The couple has two children, one of which is a son, named Ben, and the other one’s a daughter, Amber. Motivated by Ben, who has cerebral palsy, they decided to create an educational program for children with special needs in 1986. Pegi also helped Neil by serving as a backup singer during his tours in the 90s. Arrangements were made for Neil and Pegi to play at a concert in North Carolina on the 9th of September. However, Pegi’s name has been removed from the lineup.

While posing for [i]V Magazine[/i]’s 91st issue, Miley Cyrus stripped her clothes. This issue is titled the ‘Rebel issue’. The former Disney star’s provocative pictures were taken by Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld. Cyrus shared a promotion shot via Instagram. In it was Miley, completely naked, laying down on stuffed animals. This isn’t the first time the pop singer did something of this nature; last year, she posed for [i]V Magazine[/i] as well. For that issue’s cover photo, she dyed her hair pink and wore a black bra and underwear. Copies of Miley’s most recent appearance on [i]V Magazine[/i] reach newsstands on the 10th of September.

[b][color=white]Young Jeezy pleads "Not Guilty." [/color][/b]
On August 24th, Young Jeezy had his tour bus searched by the Police, as they thought the men had been involved in a murder. While the police were searching his bus they found an AK-47 Machine gun. Young Jeezy and 5 members of his entourage were taken into custody and charged with "Illegal Gun Possession." Young Jeezy and the other five men have plead not guilty to the gun Charges, they have a Pretrial hearing that has been scheduled for September 5th. All six men have had their bail set at $1 Million. "All Hip Hop" reports that the bail still hasn't been paid, so for the time being the Rapper & his entourage remain behind bars.

Derrick Rose, 25, says he's ready to participate for Team USA at the FIBA World Cup. Missing all, but 10 games last season for the Chicago Bulls, Rose will be able to take part with the 11 other selected for Team USA. Tearing his ACL, and since recovering from the injury, Rose has been up on his feet practicing as much as he can. When it comes to the big day, coach Mike Krzyzewski will be treating Rose the same as the other players. No special treatment will be given to Rose.

[b][color=white]Tony Steward Returns[/color][/b]
Three-time Nascar champion Tony Stewart will return after an injury on August 9th where him and Kevin Ward Jr. collided together. On that very night, Kevin Ward Jr. sadly did not make it out alive. Stewart was reported to be shaking and in shock. Steward has been secluded from the outside world since. An ongoing case is being brought up against Tony regarding whether or not he will be charged for the death of Ward Jr. This past week, Tony was given the green light to participate in the upcoming race this weekend, which can be seen at 7:30 P.M. ET. on Sunday. Following up on the death of Ward Jr., Nascar has disallowed the exiting of vehicles in car crashes or disabled vehiches unless, the car is on fire. Safety is always number one, and Nascar is showing that they do care for their drivers.

[b][color=white]James Harrison Announces Retirement[/color][/b]
Thirty-six year old, former outside linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers, James Harrison announced this past week that he will be retiring. The 242 lbs, 6' 0" linebacker drafted from Kent State back in 2002, is known for his longtime commitment to being apart of the Steelers. In 2008, Harrison received the NFL player of the year, as well as making one of the most incredible touchdowns in NFL Super Bowl history after intercepting the ball and dashing 100 yards past his competitors. Making his way from the bottom to the top, other teams should have regretted not drafting this linebacker as he shows no fear and gets the job done. At the time of retirement, James Harrison was declared a free agent, but seeing as he's leaving the football seen, he will be missed.
