Vesper woke up floating in the water after he had been knocked out. He crawled out of water and coughed up bloody water from lungs. He lay on the ground and struggled to breath. Vesper wasn't angry at the Human who attacked him and dropped him into the pond, but he had a deep burning hatred over Shen sapping the majority of his ki away for some kind of power trip, which had allowed the whole event to occur. As Vesper lay catching his breath he visualized Shen in his stupid hooded outfit. He remembered how Shen felt, with his dark evil aura, mocking him. Vesper was still too tired to use his voice, but he screamed mentally in anger. He reached out to Shen with his ki, trying to send his thoughts to him like a sharp blade. Vesper thought intense on the energy he was sending out, trying to craft the raw anger and hatred into precise words. He remembered all the times that telepathic words had entered his brain, and he hadn't known how to respond. Vesper felt mute. Using all his focus and emotion, Vesper reached out to Shen and made the telepathic connection.
