  1. >**Sir, I’ve detected several anomalies within the armor’s power grid.** Jahvise’s familiar, overly british voice states.
  2. “Tell me about it later. We’ve much more important things to do.”
  3. >Twilight still looks to be out of it, what with the tongue lolling out of her mouth and light pants.
  4. >You grab her horn and lift the pony up to eye level.
  5. >”Hey baby, want some fuck?”
  6. “Listen here, you little purple slut. I need you to go out to town and find my your most powerful unicorns, get me every little lovey-dovey couple you feel you could get a cavity from, and for the love of god, get me some fucking paint. Lots of it.”
  7. >She simply stares at you, any bit of reason seemingly gone from her violet orbs.
  8. >After seconds lat lasted longer than they should have, she attempts to nod in your grip. You drop her, and she staggers off out of the cave.
  9. >**I’m afraid I don’t understand that list, sir.**
  10.
  11. “You don’t need to. All you need to do is run the Mark I and get to work on another suit for me. I have to make preparations for Twilight’s return.”
  12. >You put the faceplate back into your original suit, and the power core from the second. The old thing begins to move again.
  13. >It’s not surprising really. After all, it’s only been out of commission for about a day.
  14. >As you move to the far end of the cave and begin rummaging through an old box, a strange feeling washes over you.
  15. >You can’t quite place a finger on it, but it’s certainly a new one.
  16. “Oh and, use the altered plans. You should be able to find them in the cabinet.”
  17. >Heavy steps behind followed by creaking wood tells you he’s found the plans. Great, the sooner everything can get done, the better.
  18.
  19. >Days pass. Twilight has been exceedingly good at running errands and relaying news.
  20. >With her aid, you finished up the last core you need for the armor.
  21. >She’ll get an honorable mention when you give your big hero speech.
  22. >Oh, Twilight! Her presence completely slipped your mind.
  23. >”And that’s about it, really.” She finishes.
  24. “Mhm, I see. Well you should get to work on that.”
  25. >”Excuse me?”
  26. “Nothing, nothing. I’m just a little scattered, sorry. This is a big day after all.”
  27. >”I know. It’s amazing what you’ve done with the suit.”
  28. “Oh, do go on.” You smile and strip down while the horse continues on about your genius.
  29. >For some reason, it never gets boring hearing people adore you. You deserve adoration!
  30. >For the hundreds of thousands of years ponies have lived on this planet, they’ve done nothing.
  31. >Their greatest technological feat that doesn’t collect dust in Twilight’s basement has been a street light.
  32. >Their greatest structure, a castle.
  33. >Ponies have been content to sit in their own filth, never thinking beyond the range of magic.
  34. >You did, though.
  35.
  36. >You saw steel, and millions of ideas birthed in your mind. Millions of machines you could build, things you could forge, and so on and so forth.
  37. >You saw the stars, and a need birthed inside your heart. A yearning to reach them, to hold them in your own hands, and to mold them in your image.
  38. >You saw the ocean, and a wonder birthed within your soul. More than how to get from point A to B like a pony, you wondered what lay beneath those waves. What number of new creatures would await you down there?
  39. >All these things were lost on ponies.
  40. >They saw steel and thought of the same old things they had been thinking for thousands of years.
  41. >They saw the stars and they thought nothing of it but the light their precious princesses gave them.
  42. >They saw the ocean and thought only of ships for trade.
  43.
  44. >They lacked imagination.
  45. >They lacked drive.
  46. >They lacked a human mind.
  47. >You had one, and with it, you had the keys to the universe.
  48. >With your mind, your beautiful mind, you were god.
  49. >You created thought in Jahvise, and a body in the armor.
  50. >And just as every god creates and does away with their children when they annoy them, you would do the same.
  51. >You would destroy.
  52. >”I would never have thought to use changeling magic to power this,” Twilight said, snapping you out of your thoughts.
  53. “You wouldn’t have thought of many things.”
  54. >As you pull on the special clothes Rarity had stitched just for your suits, Twilight trotted up next to you.
  55. >”So what are you naming this one? The Mark III?”
  56. “No, I was thinking of something a little more colorful.”
  57.
  58. >The locks clicked and move, opening the entire back of the beauty before you.
  59. >It was smaller than the others, lither, and more nimble.
  60. >The backing closed behind as you climb in.
  61. >”Oh?”
  62. >The eyes flickered to life, bringing the world into view. Numbers and words popped up on screen, bringing back that same safeness you found in knowledge. There was nothing the surroundings could hide from you.
  63. [Aussterben.]
  64. >”What’s that mean?”
  65. >Opening the door, daylight fills your eyes for the first time in nearly a month.
  66. [It means extinction.]
  67. >”That’s a very…dark name. Why that?”
  68. [You typically name a device after its purpose.]
  69. >Twilight’s voice loses its chipper. “Anon, I think I know what you’re planning, and it’s not the right way to go.”
  70. [You couldn’t possibly know what I’m planning. What mongrel could match the mind of a god?]
  71. >She scoffs. “Oh, so I’m a mongrel now?”
  72.
  73. [You are all mongrels. Every pony, every griffon, every changeling. Every being on this world is beneath me. Did I ever tell you about humans?]
  74. >”Only that you’re warriors,” quiet words escape through sniffles.
  75. [We are more than that. We are conquerors, Twilight. Nature bows to man. The entire animal kingdom bows to man. Do you know why?]
  76. >”Enlighten me.”
  77. [Because we are better than you.]
  78. >”That’s absurd! Anon, you’re speaking nonsense!”
  79. [Don’t worry, Twilight. I’ll come back to Equestria when I’m done, and I’ll teach you all how to properly worship me. Hell, I’ll even save you a special spot in my harem. Top bitch comes with a lot of perks, you know.]
  80. >”Please Anon, try to see reason!” she pleads, latching onto your leg once again.
  81. >A familiar flash on your display screen alerts you to life. Now cataloged, Jahvise identifies it as a changeling.
  82. [I see everything.]
  83. >Without a second though, you raise your palm to the creature. Thin, pitch black beams of energy fires from it.
  84. >They zip by and cripple the monster, completely obliterating its horn and singing off its wings.
  85. >Shaking Twilight off, you walk to the frightened beast. It tries to crawl away and ends up backing itself into a tree.
  86. [Why hello. How would you like to be the first member in my holy campaign?]
