- Brief History: Wes used to be a member of Team Snagem and was one of their ace members, snagging Pokémon for them. However, Team Snagem was working with Cipher to turn the stolen Pokémon into Shadow Pokémon. Disgusted by their actions, Wes plants a bomb in Snagem's hideout and steals their sole portable Snag Machine, weakening them greatly. With the help of a girl named Rui, Wes Snagged many Shadow Pokémon distributed throughout the Orre region and purified them, returning them to normal Pokémon. At the end of his journey, Wes managed to take down Cipher and Snagem, putting an end to their schemes for the time being. Years have passed since that day...And now Wes returns to Orre...
