  1. [3:56]The Suspect looks back, nearly to the gates of the city. He falters to see her stop
  2. [3:57]The Suspect gasps, chest heaving. "I... can't tell you... who she is... Nat... I can't..."
  3. [3:57]The Paladin straightens up, all fatigue seemingly gone, and she steps towards him
  4. [3:58]The Paladin she grabs his shoulders, 'Wait for twelvesake!’
  5. [3:58]The Suspect twists in her grasp, "No! Let go!"
  6. [3:58]The Paladin: I'm trying to help her!
  7. [3:59]The Suspect: You said it yourself, the people will want her head!
  8. [3:59]The Paladin: Just let me talk to her! Or do you want some of those Roegadyn's friends to find her description and tear her apart?
  9. [4:00]The Paladin: 'Who knows, even if she was the killer, it might have not even been murder'
  10. [4:00]The Paladin shrugs, 'Self defence, Accidents... who knows what actually happened'
  11. [4:00]The Suspect draws a few more labored breaths, "He was trying to rape her sister", he finally gasps out.
  12. [4:00]The Paladin lets go and steps back, as if she needs time to process this fact
  13. [4:01]The Paladin looks at him and states, 'You know she did it' not as a question but as a fact
  14. [4:01]The Suspect finally stops struggling and just stands there, chest heaving. "She was protecting her sister..."
  15. [4:02]The Paladin sighs and pinches the bridge of her nose, 'Do you think the courts do not take circumstances like that into account?'
  16. [4:03]The Suspect shakes his head. "There are two of them. Twins, you see. The victim, and her sister. I was talking to the victim, but I met her sister today. Out there.", he gestures into the desert. "She's long gone by now, but she told me she'd protected her sister, stopped the man."
  17. [4:04]The Suspect looks at her, all masks finally dropped away. "It's the only thing that makes sense. The sisters look identical. I was talking to the one, and the other said she'd stopped the man. It's the only thing that makes sense..."
  18. [4:05]The Paladin turns around shaking, before taking off her gauntlet and turns around quickly, socking C'kayah in the jaw and knocking him to the ground, she stands over him, breathing heavily
  19. [4:05]The Suspect staggers and falls to the ground, staring up at her with a shocked expression
  20. [4:06]The Paladin: I thought I told you that you could trust me! she shouts
  21. [4:06]The Suspect shouts back up at her, his expression alternately pleading and furious, "I *do* trust you! But I don't trust any of the *rest* of this place!"
  22. [4:07]The Paladin yells, 'Yet you hide this from me, almost causing the arrest and possible death of an innocent!'
  23. [4:07]The Suspect: You know *Ul'dahn* justice. Sometimes it works, but it's *always* bloody. And it's blind, Natalie. It's blind. I can't turn someone over to that!"
  24. [4:07]The Paladin leans over him and jabs a finger into his chest, 'WELL I'M NOT BLIND KAYAH'
  25. [4:08]The Paladin: And I'm not simply some cog in the bloody machine of law!
  26. [4:09]The Suspect tries to stand and brush her hand away, "It's not the law I'm afraid of. It's the Roegadyn! It's the Syndicate! It's the Sultana and her bloody right hand and the whims that give justice over to the mob!"
  27. [4:11]The Paladin steps into him, 'So this is your answer then? Cheap lies that draw even more innocents into the grinder! That's some system you have!
  28. [4:12]The Suspect flings his arms out to the side in exasperation, "I was wrong, all right? I'm drunk, and I panicked, and I was wrong. I told you it wasn't Sil'tel, didn't I?"
  29. [4:13]The Paladin puts her finger on his lips to silence his protests, and stares into his eyes from inches away, 'It comes down to this, Do you trust me Kayah, Or don't you?'
  30. [4:16]The Suspect seems to collapse a little. "Natalie, I barely *know* you. I *want* to trust you..."
  31. [4:16]The Paladin leans in, and her lips touch his, she lingers for a moment and pulls away, 'Well then, I'll just have to give a reason to trust me then'
  32. [4:17]The Paladin begins walking away, 'Tomorrow... lets meet that victim of yours'
  33. [4:17]The Paladin: You'll see…
