1. >You walk up to the house that looks like it hasn't been touched in years.
2. >A rusted number twenty four hangs next to the door, confirming this is the right house.
3. >The old door creaks when you push it open.
4. >A gust of cold air hits you, almost making you stumble.
5. >You look inside at the dusty old room with broken windows and decaying furniture.
6. "It's going to take some work..."
7. >No wonder it was the cheapest house around.
8. >You head inside and start cleaning things.
9.
10.
11. >The sound of repeating hoof steps echoes throughout the hospital corridors as you walk to her room.
12. >Once you reach her door, you hear her talking as if someone is in there with her.
13. >Opening the door slowly, you peer inside.
14. >She sits there on the bed staring at the wall.
15. >"Please leave. Don't go in there. Don't look at her."
16. >You walk inside.
17. "Who are you talking to?"
18. >She turns her head and looks at you.
19. >"Stop him..."
20. >You place the tray of food on the table beside her bed.
21. "Stop who?"
22. >She stares directly at your face.
23. >"HE'LL KILL HER!"
24. >You step back.
25. >"GO STOP HIM!"
26. >A few guards come running in and hold the mare down.
27. >She struggles against the restraint of four guards trying their hardest to keep her still.
28. >"THE BASEMENT! THE CURSE! STOP HIM!"
29. >As they give her sedatives, she looks at you and whispers.
30. >"Twenty four..."
31. >She then falls unconscious.
32. >A guard turns to you.
33. >"Are you alright?"
34. "Y-yes..."
35. >"Nurse Redheart, you should know better than to get this close."
36. >You stare at the mare, wondering what she meant.
37.
38.
39. >The living room, dining room, kitchen, and entire upstairs is cleaned up now.
40. >You managed to get the dust and cobwebs off most of the stuff and picked up the shards of glass from the broken windows.
41. >The next step is to get new furniture.
42. >"Anon?"
43. >You turn around and see Fluttershy standing behind you.
44. "Jeez Fluttershy... You scared the shit out of me."
45. >"S-sorry. I thought you might want some help moving in."
46. >You smile.
47. "Thanks Fluttershy. Sure, I'd love some help."
48. >She smiles too.
49. >"Okay, where should we start?"
50. "I've already taken care of most of the rooms, the only thing I need now is furniture."
51. >Fluttershy walks down the hallway next to the staircase and stops.
52. >She turns toward the wall.
53. "What is it?"
54. >"Did you check here?"
55. >She pushes a door you never even noticed open.
56. >You walk over to her and see a staircase leading down.
57. "I didn't know this house had a basement."
58. >You start to make your way down the stairs and Fluttershy follows slowly behind you.
59. >The floor is cold concrete and there isn't any form of light down here.
60. >You pull the mini flashlight out of your pocket and shine it around.
61. >The room looks like it was recently cleaned, there's no furniture or anything around.
62. >Fluttershy walks forward into the light you're shining.
63. >"Point it over to the right some."
64. >You do so and see another door.
65. >She lightly hovers over to the door and reaches up to open it.
66. >When she does, she stumbles back a bit.
67. "Are you alright?"
68. >She looks back and nods.
69. >"Y-yeah, just kinda tired."
70. >She closes the door.
71. "What was in there?"
72. >"Some rocks."
73. >She walks back over to the stairs and her back legs give out.
74. "Fluttershy?"
75. >You quickly go over to her and help her stand.
76. >"I'm sorry... I'm really exhausted for some reason."
77. "Maybe you need some fresh air."
78. >She nods and you help her climb the stairs.
79. >After reaching the top of the stairs, you guide her outside and stand on the porch.
80. >The house rests on a hill that looks over Ponyville, so the view is incredible.
81. >"Anon..."
82. >You look down at Fluttershy.
83. "What? Is something wrong?"
84. >She looks up at you and gives you a smile.
85. >"Have I ever told you that you look pretty cute?"
86. >You raise an eyebrow.
87. "What?"
88. >She opens her mouth to say something else, then drops to the ground.
89. "Fluttershy?!"
90. >You kneel down and move her a bit.
91. >She doesn't respond.
92. >You scoop her up into your arms and head off to the hospital.
93.
94.
95. >It's been about an hour since the doctors took her.
96. >What was all of that even about?
97. >Are there some kind of fumes in the basement or something?
98. >As you sit there thinking of ways this could have happened, a doctor walks over to you.
99. >"Mr. Anonymous?"
100. >You stand and look down at him.
101. "Yes?"
102. >"The mare you brought here is fine now. We aren't sure what could have caused this, but it's most likely dehydration."
103. >You nod.
104. "Okay. Can I go see her?"
105. >He nods.
106. >"Of course. She's in the room straight down the corridor, last one on the right."
107. >You nod to him and then round the corner to the hospital corridor.
108. >As you walk down the hallway, you hear light voices.
109. >The voice becomes louder when you walk further.
110. >Suddenly it becomes softer.
111. >You stop and look back at the door on your right that you just passed.
112. >After looking back to see if anyone is watching, you walk toward the door the talking is coming from.
113. >You open it and look inside.
114. >A purple mare sits there staring directly at you.
115. >"Why did you do it?"
116. >You walk inside and close the door behind you.
117. "Do what?"
118. >"The basement. Why did you do it?"
119. >Your eyes widen a bit.
120. "The basement... What about the basement?"
121. >She begins to rock back and forth.
122. >"She'll be dead. You'll be dead inside. I'm dead inside."
123. >She's just crazy.
124. >You turn around and grab the door handle.
125. >"Love brings pain. Don't do it. Don't love."
126. >Look back at her.
127. "What?"
128. >"Tip tap tip tap. Hoofsteps in the darkness. Unquenchable lust for love."
129. >You shake your head.
130. >Shouldn't have come into this room.
131. >When you open the door, she speaks in a low tone.
132. >"Self defense is still murder."
133. >You shoot a glance back at her before leaving.
134. >Close the door lightly behind you when you exit the room.
135. >Jesus fucking Christ.
136. >The fuck was up with her?
137. >You shake your head and continue going down the corridor.
138. >Light sobbing can be heard from up ahead, and you speed up your pace.
139. >The sobbing leads right toward the last door on the right, Fluttershy's room.
140. >You open it and walk inside.
141. >She lays there on the bed with her hooves over her eyes, crying.
142. "Fluttershy?"
143. >She quickly lowers her hooves and looks at you.
144. >She smiles and puts her hooves out.
145. >"C-c-can I h-have a h-h-hug?"
146. >You can't say no to that.
147. >Walk over and give her a hug.
148. >Her crying has turned to occasional snivels as she holds you.
149. "Are you alright Fluttershy?"
150. >"I think so... B-But don't let go yet."
151. >You chuckle a little as you hold her.
152. >"Oh, are we interrupting?"
153. >Breaking the hug, you turn around to see Rarity and the rest of the main six.
154. "I didn't mean it like that, she just wanted a hug."
155. >Fluttershy smiles and nods while lightly blushing.
156. >You walk over to Rarity while the others go to Fluttershy.
157. >Kneel down and kiss her.
158. >She smiles.
159. "How've you been?"
160. >"Very good. Business has been simply marvelous at Carousel Boutique. How do you like the house?"
161. "I think it'll be perfect for raising a family."
162. >She smiles even brighter.
163. >"A-Anon."
164. >You turn around and see Fluttershy with her hooves up.
165. >"Could I have another hug?"
166. >Look back at Rarity.
167. >She nods.
168. >You walk over past the others and lean down to hug her.
169. >As your body warms hers, she whispers to you.
170. >"Why do you love her?"
171. >You whisper back.
172. "Who, Rarity?"
173. >"Why?"
174. >Hoofsteps behind you make you break the hug.
175. >Nurse Redheart stands there.
176. >"Miss Fluttershy, you're okay to leave whenever you like now."
177. >Fluttershy smiles and leaves the bed, taking off the hospital gown.
178. >All of you look surprised at how eager she was to get back up.
179. >She smiles up at you.
180. >"Can I keep helping you with your house Anon?"
181. "Uhh... Sure, but I really only need help with the furniture right now and I'm just going to pay someone to do that."
182. >She keeps her smile and some sort of glare makes her eyes appear pink for a split second.
183. >Strange.
184. >You look back at Rarity.
185. "Is that okay with you?"
186. >She sighs and then nods.
187. >Turn back to Fluttershy.
188. "Alright, I guess you can help."
189. >Fluttershy makes a cute yay sound and everyone laughs.
190.
191.
192. >You sit on the porch with Fluttershy watching the stallions take the old furniture out and bring the new furniture in.
193. >Fluttershy scoots closer to you, leaning her body against yours.
194. >"This is a really beautiful view."
195. "Yeah it is."
196. >It's silent for a few seconds, save the chirps of birds.
197. >"Anon."
198. "Yeah Fluttershy?"
199. >"Why did you get this house?"
200. >You look at the mare.
201. "Why are you asking?"
202. >She looks up at you.
203. >"It just seemed so sudden. You were happy with Rarity living in her house, but now you go out and buy your own. I'm just curious as to why you'd do that."
204. "Well... Don't tell the others this."
205. >A hint of curiosity comes across her face.
206. >"I promise."
207. "I bought this so that Rarity and I can live here. She's pregnant with my child."
208. >Fluttershy blinks a few times, surprised with the answer she was given.
209. >She then turns her head to the setting sun.
210. >"Oh really..."
211. "You don't sound too happy about it."
212. >She turns to you with a smile.
213. >"I'm sorry, it's just a lot to take in."
214. "I understand."
215. >A stallion comes out of the house and turns to you.
216. >"Mr. Anonymous."
217. >You look at him.
218. "Yeah?"
219. >"We've got all the furniture up into the house and into the rooms, but its up to you to move them where you'd like them."
220. >You stand and turn to him.
221. "Alright. How much will that be?"
222. >"Expenses were already covered by a..."
223. >He checks the paper he has on a clipboard.
224. >"Miss Rarity."
225. >How sweet of her.
226. "That's great. Well, you have a nice day."
227. >He nods.
228. >"You too, lovebirds."
229. >Look at Fluttershy.
230. >She's smiling and blushing.
231. >Look back at the stallion.
232. "W-we're not together like that!"
233. >"Yeah, sure."
234. >He smirks as he walks down the porch stairs and over to a carriage.
235. >Why didn't Fluttershy correct him?
236. >You shake your head and walk inside the house.
237. >Fluttershy follows you.
238. "He really did mean what he said..."
239. >You sigh as all of your living room furniture is in the middle of the living room.
240. "Fluttershy, can you get started on this room while I go to the bathroom?"
241. >"Does the water even work?"
242. "They were here to fix that too, don't worry. Can you get started on the living room for me please?"
243. >Her eyes have that same weird pink glare again and then she nods.
244. >"Y-yes!"
245. >She quickly goes to work.
246. >You turn and go down the hallway to the bathroom.
247. >Open the door and go sit on the toilet.
248. >What was up with her eyes right then?
249. >They seemed to flash pink for a second...
250. >You yawn.
251. >Maybe it was your eyes playing tricks on you.
252. >You finish up in the bathroom and flush the toilet.
253. >Those guys really did good work here.
254. >When you walk out of the bathroom, you're surprised to see all of the furniture that was in a huge pile in the middle of the living room now spread out around in a very nice way.
255. >You walk into the living room and see the couch against the back wall like you asked.
256. >Everything else is about where you would have put it too.
257. >Damn, were you really in the bathroom that long?
258. >Fluttershy must have moved on to another room.
259. >A loud thud sound comes from upstairs.
260. >You go up the stairs and into the first room to see one of the bedside tables knocked over.
261. >Fluttershy is sweating and panting on the floor.
262. >Quickly rush over to her and help her up.
263. "What's wrong?"
264. >"I-I wanted to help you..."
265. "You are helping me."
266. >"But I couldn't finish setting up this room for you."
267. >Tears start to form in her eyes.
268. >"I wanted to help you, but I couldn't..."
269. >You wipe the tears from her eyes with your thumb.
270. "Fluttershy, relax. You helped me a lot, you got the whole living room ready in a few minutes!"
271. >She snivels.
272. >"Y-yeah, but you have to sleep somewhere..."
273. >She looks at the bed that's completely put together and perfectly made.
274. >"So I wanted to set up your bedroom too."
275. "You almost did it, it was only a bedside table."
276. >You lift it up and set it the right way.
277. >She looks at it and then back to you.
278. >"I'm sorry."
279. "Why are you sorry?"
280. >"I'm not good enough for you."
281. >You lift her up and put her on the bed.
282. "Stop talking like that Fluttershy. You're perfect. You don't need to be better."
283. >She smiles.
284. >"I-I am?"
285. "Yes! Of course! So stop beating yourself up!"
286. >She nods and her eyes do that thing again.
287. >So it wasn't your imagination...
288. >"O-okay."
289. "Fluttershy, what just happened with your eyes there?"
290. >She looks confused.
291. >"What about my eyes?"
292. >You stare at her for a few seconds and then shake your head.
293. "I could've sworn they like changed color or something."
294. >"That's weird..."
295. "Yeah."
296. >You stand and look down at her.
297. "Now I'm feeling worn out from today, so I'm gonna go to sleep."
298. >She gets off the bed and flies over to the bedroom door.
299. >"Okay... G-goodnight."
300. >She exits the room.
301. "Wait Fluttershy."
302. >She pokes her head back in.
303. "I don't trust that you'll be okay going back home alone right now, with all the weird stuff happening to you."
304. >"W-weird stuff?"
305. "Yes."
306. >She looks down.
307. >"I'm sorry."
308. "Don't be."
309. >You climb into bed and pat right next to you.
310. "Come on already and get in bed, I'm tired."
311. >She slowly flutters over to the bed and lands on it.
312. >"Is this okay? Y-you're dating Rarity..."
313. "I'm not going to have sex with you or anything, I just don't want to force you to stay on the couch. Is that okay?"
314. >She eagerly nods and goes under the covers.
315. >You click the light on the other bedside table off.
316. "We have to be up pretty early tomorrow, so don't let me forget."
317. >"Why?"
318. "Rarity is coming over to help with moving things."
319. >She is silent.
320. "Goodnight Fluttershy."
321. >"G-goodnight Anon."
322.
323.
324. >You open the door to her room again.
325. >She is nowhere to be seen.
326. "M-miss?"
327. >She pokes her head out from under the bed.
328. >You close the door behind you and come closer to her.
329. "What did you mean by those things you said before?"
330. >The purple mare with a white and purple striped mane climbs back onto her bed and sits there facing you.
331. >"It's too late. She's going to die. He's going to kill her. It's the curse."
332. "The curse? Can you tell me about the curse?"
333. >She takes a deep breath.
334. >"The curse of love. Love kills those in the way."
335. "What is twenty four?"
336. >"It's the house. The cursed house."
337. >Twenty four is a house?
338. >"I told them I didn't do it."
339. >She leans in closer to you.
340. >"I TOLD THEM!"
341. >She backs up.
342. >"They said Screwball is crazy. Now I'm here."
343. "Miss Screwball..."
344. >"Forget about the curse. It's bad. Go on living. Don't go to twenty four."
345. >She then turns around and faces the wall.
346. "W-wait, what do you mean by love kills those in the way?"
347. >She says nothing.
348. >You sigh and walk toward the door.
349. >You're going to get to the bottom of this if it's the last thing you do.
350.
351.
352.
"I love you Anon."
353.
354.
355. >The warmth of the sun on your face wakes you.
356. >You open your eyes and look at the clock on the bedside table.
357. >It says 12:43.
358. >...
359. "SHIT!"
360. >You quickly sit up, startling the sleeping Fluttershy curled up by your side.
361. >"What is it?"
362. >Roll over and glare at her.
363. "Didn't I tell you to make sure we were up early?!"
364. >She cowers.
365. >"B-but she already came and the two of us finished..."
366. >You ease up a little.
367. "Huh?"
368. >"She didn't want to wake you because you looked so happy when you were sleeping."
369. >...That sounds like Rarity.
370. "Oh. I'm sorry for yelling at you then."
371. >You stretch out your arms and then look back at her.
372. "Why are you in bed then?"
373. >"I got sleepy after we finished about an hour ago."
374. >You stand up and go over to the dresser.
375. >Pull open a drawer and smile.
376. >Rarity really did come, the clothes are here.
377. >Once finished changing your clothes, you turn around and see Fluttershy sitting there staring at you.
378. "Hey! Were you watching the whole time?!"
379. >"Is that bad?"
380. "What do you mean? You just watched me get naked!"
381. >"I only saw your butt sweetie."
382. >You stop your rant.
383. "Fluttershy."
384. >"Yes?"
385. "Don't call me that."
386. >Her ears flatten.
387. >"Why?"
388. "That's a thing that people in relationships call each other. You call me Anon or Anonymous, okay?"
389. >Her eyes flash pink and she nods.
390. >"Okay Anon."
391. >What the fuck is up with that eye thing?
392. >She obviously doesn't see anything wrong...
393. >She flies over to the bedroom door and looks back at you.
394. >"Do you want something to eat Anon?"
395. "Sure."
396. >She flies out into the hallway and disappears from sight.
397. >Fluttershy sure has been acting strange lately.
398. >She's become increasingly clingy for some reason.
399. >It's not a bad thing, it's just that you love Rarity.
400. >She just has to respect that bond, and it sure seems like she does.
401. >You head out of the room and go down the stairs.
402. >A quick peer into the kitchen shows Fluttershy making something on the stovetop.
403. >You walk past the kitchen and into the dining room that's completely set up with even a vase with flowers in the center of the table.
404. >Those two did some damn fine work.
405. >When you circle the table to sit down, you see the door on the wall of the hallway.
406. >Oh right, the basement.
407. >Wonder what they did down there...
408. >You go back around the table and over to the door.
409. >Open it and walk down there.
410. >When you get to the bottom, you see a string.
411. >Pulling it makes the lights come on.
412. >The huge room still remains empty, save the pipes that run along the walls.
413. >Why didn't they get to the basement?
414. >Then again they probably only had a few hours...
415. >You scan the room and your eyes fall on the door in the corner that Fluttershy looked in before.
416. >Right after she opened that door, she wasn't feeling so good.
417. >Maybe there's something in there...
418. >You walk over to it and reach for the handle.
419. >"Anon."
420. >Fluttershy's voice makes you jump.
421. >You turn around and see her standing there smiling.
422. >"You're going to miss lunch if you don't come upstairs."
423. "I was just going to see what's inside—"
424. >She interrupts you with a cold tone.
425. >"Rocks. There are rocks in there. Rarity and I didn't get to the basement."
426. "Okay... After we eat, we should get that taken care of."
427. >Fluttershy's eyes flash pink once again.
428. >"Sure."
429. "Alright, what the fuck is up with your eyes? They keep flashing pink."
430. >She looks hurt and confused.
431. >"W-what?"
432. "Ugh, nevermind."
433. >"Come on, let's eat."
434. >She flies up the stairs.
435. >You look back at the door.
436. >It was almost like she was trying to hide something...
437. >"Anooon!"
438. "Coming!"
439. >You turn back and go up the stairs.
440. >Fluttershy sits in the dining room with a plate of veggies in front of her.
441. >Across from where she's sitting is a plate with something else on it.
442. >You can't really tell what kind of meat it is by looking at it.
443. >Sitting down, you ask her.
444. "What's this?"
445. >She smiles at you.
446. >"Cooked fish."
447. "Oh. Thanks!"
448. >You grab the fork and dig into it.
449. >It only takes you a few minutes to destroy everything on the plate.
450. "That was great Fluttershy!"
451. >She smiles at you.
452. >"I'm sure it was."
453. >Her eyes slowly shift from blue to purple, purple to red, then red to pink.
454. "Fluffershy whas wrong wif your eyes?"
455. >Why did you just slur that?
456. >Your vision begins to fade, the last thing visible being those pink eyes.
457.
458.
459. --Earlier that morning--
460.
461. >As you sit on the couch in the living room, somepony knocks on the door.
462. >You walk over and open it to reveal Rarity.
463. >She seems surprised to see you here.
464. >"Oh, hello Fluttershy."
465. "Hi Rarity."
466. >She walks inside.
467. >"Where is Anonymous?"
468. "He's in the basement, working on some pipes."
469. >She walks over to the couch and places the bag of his clothing there, then turns around.
470. >"Where is the basement?"
471. "This way."
472. >You walk past her and over to the basement door on the wall.
473. >Opening it for her, she smiles.
474. >"Thank you dear."
475. >She turns and begins to walk down the stairs.
476. >You take flight and buck her so she goes tumbling down them, smashing her face on the concrete at the bottom.
477. >While humming a little tune, you close the door and fly down to her.
478. >She struggles to stand and you kick her in the side.
479. >She rolls over on her back, her face now completely covered in blood from her nose and forehead.
480. >"F-Fluttershy, what are you doing?!"
481. >You stand above Rarity and smile at her.
482. >"What's wrong with your eyes?"
483. "I love Anon. You can't love Anon because he's mine."
484. >"W-what?!"
485. >You walk over to door in the corner and open it, grabbing a fairly large rock with your mouth.
486. >Walking back over to Rarity, you see that she has wet herself in fear.
487. >Place the rock down next to her body.
488. "Don't be afraid Rarity. Think about how happy Anon will be with me instead of you."
489. >She snivels.
490. >"Why are you doing this?"
491. >You stand above her, looking down at her blood covered face.
492. "Because with you gone, Anon can focus on me. He won't have to think about you."
493. >"B-but we're friends Fluttershy!"
494. "Nopony that gets in the way of true love is my friend."
495. >You pick the rock up with a hoof and slam it down on her head.
496. >She squeals out and you shove your hoof into her mouth before smashing the rock into her skull again.
497. >And again.
498. >Until there's nothing distinguishable under your hoof besides a mass of gore.
499. "Ahh... Much better."
500. >You drag the body over to the door in the corner and throw it down the pit behind the rocks.
501. "Now I have to clean up your mess... Why couldn't you die without bleeding so much?"
502. >You'll also have to make it seem like she was here earlier today.
503. >Head back upstairs to get soap and water for the blood.
504.
505.
506. >"Do you realize how insane you sound? It makes me wonder if you should be admitted there as well."
507. >You shake your head.
508. "No, please, you have to listen to me."
509. >"Fine. Continue."
510. >You take a deep breath.
511. "She's saying that somepony is going to die... Whether we deem her insane or not, I think we should take the time to look into this matter."
512. >The chief guard at Ponyville's station leans forward.
513. >"You want me to put my trust in somepony who is mentally ill?"
514. "No. I want you to put your trust in me."
515. >He narrows his eyes and studies your face.
516. >"Alright ma'am. I don't quite know what might be going on here, but I don't want to turn a blind eye when there could very well be a murder about to happen."
517. >You smile.
518. "So you'll help me?"
519. >He nods.
520. >"I'm not sure how I can help, but I'll try my best."
521. "That's wonderful!"
522. >"So where do we begin?"
523. "Are there any houses that have the number twenty four?"
524.
525.
526. >Intense pleasure makes you open your eyes.
527. >You see Fluttershy riding your cock while panting.
528. "HEY! WHAT THE FUCK?!"
529. >She looks up at you and smiles.
530. >Her eyes are pink.
531. >"Ngg... Hi Anon. Good to see you awake..."
532. >You try to move your arms and your legs, but find that they do not respond.
533. "W-why can't I move?!"
534. >"I gave you a little bit of tranquilizer because you would have hurt yourself if I tied your arms and legs to the bed."
535. >Jesus Christ.
536. "Why are you doing this?"
537. >"Because I love you Anon. I love you and you love me."
538. "But I don't love you, I love Rarity."
539. >"How could you love somepony that isn't me?"
540. >She stares at you with a scary smile plastered on her face, her eyes now glowing pink.
541. >She bounces on your member again.
542. "Please stop..."
543. >"Why? Don't you love it?"
544. >She slides off your member, making you gasp in pleasure.
545. >"I know you do..."
546. >You shake your head as she stands.
547. >She walks on your chest and leans her head down, planting a small kiss on your lips.
548. >"I love you."
549. "I... I don't understand. Why are you acting like this?!"
550. >She sits on your chest and tilts her head a little.
551. >"Because I love you silly."
552. "I love Rarity!"
553. >Fluttershy leans close to your face.
554. >"You can't."
555. "Why not?!"
556. >She smiles and flies off the bed without saying anything.
557. >"I have a present for you Anon, so stay here."
558. >She excitedly gallops out of the room.
559. >You try to sit forward, but only make it so far until your body can't respond anymore.
560. >Laying back, you take a deep breath.
561. >As you hear Fluttershy coming back up the stairs, you desperately try to at least move your fingers to remind your body that you still have arms.
562. >Your middle finger on each hand twitches slightly.
563. >Fluttershy comes trotting into the room with a little box in her mouth.
564. >She flies up onto the bed and walks on top of your body until reaching your head.
565. >She then places the tiny box down next to you and lays on your chest.
566. >"Here, I'll open it for you."
567. >She opens the box and lifts it so you can see what it is.
568. "A ring?"
569. >"Yes Anon, we're lovers after all..."
570. "No! We're not!"
571. >You manage to curl the tips of your fingers to your palms.
572. >She leans close to your lips, breathing deeply on you.
573. >Her eyes don't even look focused, they're just pure pink and staring forward.
574. >"I'll be here for you Anon."
575. >A smile slowly stretches across her face.
576. >"Forever."
577. >You tighten the fist you've struggled so hard to create and swing it up.
578. >Fluttershy hugs your neck, dodging the punch.
579. >"Don't worry sweetie."
580. >A stinging pain is felt in your neck.
581. >"It's going to be okay."
582. >She stares down at you with a scary smile and calm pink eyes.
583.
584.
585. >You walk up to the house.
586. >The stallion to your side steps forward.
587. >"This is the last house with the number twenty four on it ma'am."
588. "Thank you for this."
589. >He simply nods.
590. >"Since this ain't technically legal, I'll be waitin' here outside. Holler if ya need me."
591. >You nod to him and walk up to the door.
592. >Tapping lightly, you wait for a response.
593. >Nothing comes from inside.
594. >Turning back, you ask,
595. "This house is occupied?"
596. >The stallion checks his clipboard then nods to you.
597. >"Yep, bought a few days back by some human."
598. >The human?
599. >So she was right...
600. >You turn back to the house and open the door.
601. >A terrible smell hits your nostrils and you cough.
602. >Peering inside, you see that it's pitch black.
603. >The windows seem to be boarded up by something and the fireplace has things shoved into it to block it as well.
604. "I'm going inside. If you hear anything, come after me."
605. >The stallion gives you a grunt in response and you walk into the dark house.
606. >Rose pedals trail from the middle of a hallway to the top of the stairs.
607. >Following the trail up the stairs, you meet a closed door.
608. >You push the door open and see the room is lit by candles.
609. >A large collection of pictures of the human are placed on the back wall in a heart shape.
610. >The bed is completely covered with rose pedals.
611. >Maybe this is where the trail started...
612. >You turn back around and follow it back down the stairs.
613. >When you get to the middle of the hallway where you believed it ended, you see a door on the wall.
614. >Once pushing it open, the smell that hit you when you first entered has tripled in potency.
615. >The trail of pedals leads down the stairs where an actual light is on.
616. >You slowly descend the stairs, making sure to stay vigilant.
617. >Once you reach the bottom of the stairs, you follow the rose pedals with your eyes.
618. >The rose pedals lead straight ahead, and your mouth opens at the sight.
619. >Anonymous sits naked in a chair, bound by chains.
620. >He looks malnourished and unclean, and dirt covers his face.
621. >He stares at his lap as if he were dead.
622. >But he still breathes.
623. >Suddenly the basement door slams shut and the light turns off.
624. >You freeze in place and stare forward into the blackness.
625. >Hooves are heard coming slowly down the stairs, each step making your heart rate rise.
626. >"What are you doing here?"
627. >You remain silent, unsure if you should respond.
628. >A light appears directly in front of you.
629. >Fluttershy sits there with a round candle in front of her.
630. >She stares at you, her eyes bright pink and unfocused.
631. >The light from the candle casts a purple and pink glow on her face.
632. >She smiles.
633. -For reference http://i.imgur.com/VviiHOT.jpg -
634. >"Did you come to help my sweetums feel better?"
635. "U-uh yes I did—"
636. >Her eyes snap on your own and flash an even brighter pink.
637. >"NO YOU DIDN'T."
638. >You remain still.
639. >"You just want to take him away from me... You want to make him yours."
640. >She stands and takes a step toward you and you step back.
641. "I don't mean any harm, I promise. I don't want him."
642. >She stops.
643. >"Why wouldn't you want him?"
644. >She furrows her brow.
645. >"He's perfect. Everypony wants him. Rarity wanted him, the mailmare wanted him, Mrs. Cake wanted him..."
646. >She looks to the right.
647. >"But they couldn't have him."
648. >You look to where she is looking and see an open door in the corner.
649. >A trail of blood can be seen across the floor to the door.
650. "Y-you didn't..."
651. >When you look back forward at Fluttershy, she now sits mere inches away from you.
652. >"You want him."
653. "N-no!"
654. >"You want to take him from me."
655. "I don't!"
656. >She pushes her forehead against yours.
657. >"YOU CAN'T HAVE MY ANON!"
658. >Just then the chains that bind Anon start rattling.
659. >She turns around and rushes over toward the chair, walking just out of the range of the light the candle casts in the room.
660. >You sit there, unsure if trying to run would be a good idea right now.
661. >She could grab you by the legs if you ran up the stairs.
662. >Suddenly she flies backward and slams against the candle, causing the room to go dark.
663. >You hear Anon yelling in the darkness.
664. >"FUCK YOU! I DON'T LOVE YOU!"
665. >A loud slam is heard and then a cough.
666. >The basement door slams open and the light comes on.
667. >"Nurse Redheart?!"
668. >You stare forward at Anon as he holds a spike shaped rock deep inside of Fluttershy's chest.
669. >She smiles at him and whispers.
670. >"I love you too sweetie."
671. >She then exhales deeply, and lays still with the smile still plastered on her face.
672. >Anon seems frozen in place as he stares at her.
673. >"Stop it..."
674. >The stallion walks down the stairs and goes over to you.
675. >"Are you okay?"
676. >You shush him with a hoof and point to Anon who is talking to the dead Fluttershy.
677. >"Stop staring at me..."
678. >He pulls the rock out of her chest cavity.
679. >"STOP STARING AT ME!"
680. >He slams the rock back into her, making more of her blood splash up onto his body.
681. >"I DON'T LOVE YOU DAMN IT! DON'T YOU DARE DIE THINKING THAT!"
682. >The stallion rushes over and pushes him off her.
683. >As he restrains the weak and malnourished Anon, more of the guards from Ponyville station come rushing down and take him away.
684. >He thrashes about as they drag him out, screaming about her eyes.
685. >The stallion you came with looks over at you.
686. >"You're fine right?"
687. "Yes... But they're not."
688. >You point to the bloodstains leading to the open door.
689. >He follows it and nearly vomits once looking inside.
690. >He then turns around and goes to you.
691. >"We have to get out of here."
692. >You nod and he guides you up and out of the house.
693.
694.
695.
696. >The sound of repeating hoof steps echoes throughout the hospital corridors as you walk to his room.
697. >Once you reach his door, you hear him talking as if someone is in there with him.
698. >Opening the door slowly, you peer inside.
699. >He sits there on the floor staring at the bed.
700. >"Please leave. Don't do it. Don't look inside."
701. >You walk inside.
702. "Who are you talking to?"
703. >He turns his head and looks at you.
704. >"Stop him from going in... He'll do it."
705. >You place the tray of food on the table beside his bed.
706. "Stop who?"
707. >He stares directly at your face.
708. >"HE'LL KILL HER!"
709. >You step back.
710. >"GO STOP HIM!"
711. >A few guards come running in and hold the deranged human down.
712. >He struggles against the restraint of four guards trying their hardest to keep him still.
713. >"THE BASEMENT! THE CURSE! STOP HIM!"
714. >As they give him sedatives, he looks at you and whispers.
715. >"Twenty four..."
716. >He then falls unconscious.
717. >A guard turns to you.
718. >"Are you alright?"
719. "Y-yes..."
720. >"Nurse Snowheart, you should know better than to get this close."
721. >You stare at the human, wondering what he meant.
