  30. (The “tra”/”tro” forms more or less add direction or movement to re-, in-, ex-, and con-.)

  44. term (determine, terminate) = end/limit (Words like “determine” and “define” are related to specifying something by putting limits around it.)
  45. terra/terri (territory, terrain, extraterrestrial) = earth/land
  46. therm (thermometer, thermal) = heat
  47. trans (transport, transaction, transverse, transparent) = across/through
  48. ultra (ultraviolet, ultrasound) = over/above (Often paired with “infra” words.)
  49. uni (universe, unique, unilateral) = one
  50. vac (vacuum, vacate, evacuate) = empty
  51. veri (verify, veracity) = truth
  52. viv/vit (vital, vivacious) = life
  53. vol (benevolent, volunteer, volition) = will
  54. xeno (xenophobia, xenophile) = strange/foreign/alien
  55. zoo (zoology, zooplankton) = animal (really the root is just “zo”, like “paleozoic” or “protozoa”)
  56. (Both “bot” and “phyt” refer to plants.)

  61. - negative fact (like fact questions but with “NOT” or “EXCEPT”)
