Transcript of the dryad Soulroot's questioning of a flower outside the mine where Anora's body was found, via Speak With Plants.


SOULROOT: Speak with me, child of Silvanus. I wish to know what thou hath seen. Can you hear me, little one?

FLOWER: Yes, miss.

SOULROOT: Good. I wish to know if you have seen any persons pass you. Humanoid ones.

FLOWER: Lots of people pass this place. Though of some I could not see their face.

SOULROOT: Could you make out any female figures?

FLOWER: Some of them were female, yes.

SOULROOT: Now, I need you to focus. Could you make out any of their features? Slightly pointed ears, for instance.

FLOWER: Some. But some I don't know. There was a hood and cloak, a mask as well. Dark hair beneath it. And more cloaks. No masks, but faces hidden.

SOULROOT: Did any of them speak?

FLOWER: They did sometimes. But I could not tell you what they said. I apologize.

SOULROOT: It is okay. Could you tell the tones of their voices?

FLOWER: I am not familiar with this concept. They simply made noise in a way you do. But they did not seem kind.

SOULROOT: Did...any of them seem to be directing others where to go? Pointing, shouting, and other gestures like that.

FLOWER: With large wooden things yes. There was also a girl being transported. But that was a while back.

SOULROOT: Did the girl have golden hair?

FLOWER: Yes.

SOULROOT: The one pointing at the others, can you remember what they looked like?

FLOWER: A man, I believe. He had a tail. And horns.

SOULROOT: Were there any female figures directing?

FLOWER: No. One watched.

SOULROOT: Was she wearing a mask?

FLOWER: No. She was not quite one of the forest, but halfly so.

SOULROOT: Okay. Were there any other creatures there? Non-humanoid, perhaps?

FLOWER: No?

SOULROOT: Okay. Was the horned man red, at all?

FLOWER: Yes.

SOULROOT: Anything else about the female? Skin or hair color?

FLOWER: She's been outside much, her hair is like trees.

SOULROOT: Did any of them ever change?

FLOWER: Change?

SOULROOT: Did any of them alter their figure or form, at all? Go from humanoid to something else.

FLOWER: Another one grew wings and left.

SOULROOT: Were they leathery, or feathery, little flower?

FLOWER: There were no feathers.

SOULROOT: Who grew the wings?

FLOWER: I do not know, but I might have seen a tail. It wore a hood.

SOULROOT: So not the man with horns?

FLOWER: I do not know if he had horns.
