As someone who is very capable with tools and has experience in a working environment, also who has passed the safe pass course, I feel I would be more that suitable for an Apprenticeship with ESB Networks.

I have always had the ability to quickly master practical skills in school, for example when soldering my leaving cert Engineering project, I noticed students around me struggling with the act of soldering when I personally mastered it back in Second Year.

For my whole life I have been lucky in the sense my family have kept me well fed and in good health, I understand the physical aspects of the job, I feel that my physical strength and health will not interfere with my work.

I also plan to progress up the rank of the ESB by learning new skills, I am interested in the LIT Electrical Engineering course offered to students who have completed the Level 6 apprenticeship. This will allow me to pursue more opportunities inside the ESB and I hope to become a valued member and a productive working inside the ESB.

With my ability to master skills very quickly, my mechanical understanding, my physical health and my interest in progressing inside the ESB I feel that I qualify for the Electrical Apprenticeship in ESB Networks
