Danny was a very happy man, despite his awful poisoning from earlier, as he held up the PokeBall of his newest acquisition. He had been given a Caterpie. "I shall call you Wiggles!" Danny exclaimed.

Larry looked a little concerned for Danny's health and well-being.

Last time, Team Oak continued their adventure through the Viridian Forest, toughing out its bewildering darkness. Coming across scraped signs of illegible text and seemingly being stalked by an unknown number of Murkrow, the team continues! Welcome to the World of Pokémon!

"... and there you go," Venec said. He put away his pokedex as the caterpie was traded to Danny.

Danny:
"Thank you~~~," Danny said, looking at Venec as if he was the greatest human-being alive.
Kia:
Kia gazed uneaily around. "So is everyone ready to procede?"

Danny:
"I think we can all agree that me finding Wiggles the Caterpie was worth the harsh battle, the poison, and everything bad that has happened to us."

Danny:
"I am ready to precede!" Danny yelled.

Danny:
He pointed at the Murkrow!

Cepheus:
"I'm ready to proceed, if the rest of you are."

Cepheus:
"We're almost out of here; I can feel it."

Venec:
"Which side of the trees?"

Danny:
"You! Yeah! You, the stylish looking bird with the hat! What is the safest way to go?"
* Murkrow points to the up.

Venec:
"It's right you know," Venec admitted.

Danny:
Danny made a sour expression toward the Murkrow and stuck his tongue out.

"Nyah!"

"What is the safest way to Pewter, dumb bird!?"

Cepheus:
"Danny, don't taunt it. Let's just keep going. We obviously can't fly, so the best thing to do is to just walk onward."

Venec:
"Alright," Venec said, "now the path splits here. What do you see on that side guys?"
DNA:
Jupiter shot Cepheus a glare.

Ramora:
"A path, nd a sign up ahead.

"If there's a sign up ahead, odds are that is probably the main path."

Venec:
"Good chance, let's read it at least."

Cepheus:
"Thus, I feel it'd be in our best interest to follow it."

"Then we take that chance when we get there."

Cepheus then analyzed the writing, also beckoning his Pinsir to read it with him.

Danny:
"What if the sign says, 'Don't Trust the Signs'?"

Ramora:
"That would be pointless cause whats to say we can trust the sign that said that?"

"Danny, stop worrying yourself with what-ifs."

Larry:
Larry looked at the Murkrow wearily, although he appeared more intrigued by them than hostile.

Narrator:

Venec stared at the birds to make sure they didn't move.

"By the way, Danny, that's back the way we came."

Danny totally walked back to the rest of the group. He was obviously delirious from the poison earlier and forgot a few things.

"Stay close, Kia," Danny said.

"They just said a group of people brutually rushed through."

"I think we just need to walk slowly through this place, and not cause any ruckus."

"If they know it isn't our intent to cause harm, they shouldn't be attacking us."

Danny looked at the birds, still in the trees, and turned back to the cats with a frown.

"Logically, those cats prey on the Murkrow in the trees," Danny said, "so maybe we can beat these cats up for them."

"...We're in agreement to take Virizion with us to the Center, then?"

"Kia nodded. "There is no reason to leave it here."

Venec:
"Erph... Not quite strong enough." Venec frowned.

Narrator:

Cepheus:
"I think Estark can carry up to 350 lbs, but this looks a bit heavier than that."

Kia shook her head and frowned. "I don't....what if you both tried to carry it?"

"A lot. Estark and I could probably carry it together but otherwise I think we should just superpotion."

Cepheus:
"Estark and probably one of us could pick it up. I'll do it, unless anyone else wants to volunteer."

Ramora:
Walks over toe venec and pulls out a potion. "Give it this. And sorry for attacking it. My Adrinalines still up from that last battle."

Cepheus:
"But then again..."
Danny:
Danny grinned. "Did anybody ask for Curly the Steelix?"
DNA:
Cepheus reached into his pack and pulled out one of his own Revives to use on the creature.

"I was going to attack it if you didn't, honestly."

Ramora:
"That's makes me feel alittle better. Thanks Venec."
DNA:
He knelt down at its side, waiting for it to wake up.

Venec:
"I wanted it too, I just feel bad leaving it alone, you know?" He shrugged. "Being a Pokemon trainer is tricky at times, it's a life of violence."

Ramora:
"Over here, Blade. Get away from it, you may scare it."

Narrator:

Venec:

Virizion uses Magical Leaf on Scyther. It cannot miss.

Narrator:
The Ultra Ball explodes as Virizion headbutts the device, causing a faint shockwave of vibration and light! Many birds in the area fly away in response! A golden light envelops Virizion before forcibly claiming the creature inside of it, closing with a hefty clasping sound.

Narrator:

Jupiter:
*edge of seat*

Danny:
Gasp!

Ramora:
"You ok, Blade. You look tired. You can go back in your pokeball if you want a rest."

Venec:
"... was that normal for an ultraball or was that the sound of something bad happening?"

Cepheus:
"I think that's the normal sound..."

Venec:
Venec seemed unfazed by the critical Quick Attack that landed against him.

Cepheus:
"Should we keep going? I think the exit to the forest isn't far off..."

Ramora:
"Grab it before it comes out and attack Blade again, please."

Danny:
"Why didn't it vanish in a beam of light?"

Ramora:
Sends blade to go retrieve lost pokeball

Cepheus:
"That's a good question, actually. Maybe there's some other force at work."

Narrator:
The Black and Gold Ultra ball sits for a moment, enveloped in a bit of mist before glowing in a rainbow shine and suddenly dispersing into the heavens as a powerful golden beam.

Venec:
"Money well spent." Venec sighed, he'd been a little worried about spending 10 pokeballs worth of pokedollers on a single orb.

Kia:
"There it goes.." Kia smiled over at Venec. "i think that one might actually give you a fight."

Danny:
"C'mon, Larry," Danny said, "these guys are totally violent."

Cepheus:
"Wait, before we leave...that last sign. Should we read it?"

Ramora:
"So blade. How do you feel? Wanna stay out or go back into your pokeball?"

Danny:
Danny looked over at the sign to read it.
* Blade seems pretty sure of itself. That legendary wasn't so legendary. Nothing is as legendary as Blade.

Venec:
"I'll bet you're right Kia." Venec exhaled. As they all began t move on once again Venec caught up to Ramora, "I know you were the one who really caught that pokemon. I'm happy to catch it but if you are the one who deserves it. If you want it I will hand it over to you."

Ramora:
"Fine but don't go die on me cause your over confident."

Narrator:
The sign reads: You reach the edge of Viridian. Congratulations for toughing out the troubles of the local wildlife. Beware of the locals afterward that are always in need of a fight.

Cepheus:
"....Well, great. We're out of the frying pan into the fire."

Danny:
"That's why I got a Water-type."

Venec:
"We didn't even have to solve it."

Ramora:
"Sounds like baked goods to me

Cepheus:
"Well, we're almost out of here. Shall we keep going?"

Venec:
Venec waited for Ramora to answer him.

Ramora:
"I think so. Scyther looks like he's ready to pass out."

Danny:
"Yeah," Danny said, nodding, "this place gives me the heeby-jeebies."

Ramora:
"Oh. Umm I don't think that's neccessary, but thanks. You may keep the legendary."

Venec:
Venec nodded, a little happy but he didn't want to show it. Of course he's terrible at hiding such things and a grin flashed over his face the moment he turned away.

Cepheus:
"Looks like we finally made it out of here."

Venec:
"Uh oh... Everyone be careful."

Cepheus:
"What's the matter?"

Venec:
"Rememer last time we went into one of these?"

Cepheus:
"You mean the rest stops?"

Danny:
"True."
Ramora:
"what happened last time?
Cepheus:
"We found a policeman's corpse that got trapped in a Joltik's fiendish prison."
Venec:
"Murder, traps, fire, that sort of thing."
Kia:
At the mention of fire Kia blushed and returned Artemis.
Ramora:
"Umm, ok. Doesn't seem the case this time."
Danny:
"Don't worry Kia," Danny said, noticing her blush, "Larry knows how to spurt water now."
Kia:
She decided it was Vi's turn to come out.
Narrator:
As you enter the new rest stop, it seems well taken care of, although oddly enough, there's no one inside. No signs of trouble, just very comfortable looking chairs, sofas, with tables and a warded of counter to the right of the building. A lone door lies across the walkway, obviously the exit.
Ramora:
"Back in the ball, Blade. Distance is too far." Returns scyther to the pokeball.

Venec:
Venec still eyes it suspiciously.

Danny:
"Oh gawd, NATURAL LIGHT!"

Danny:
Danny said as he exited.
Kia:
"It feels so good to be in the sun.." Kia closed her eyes rejoicing a little.

Cepheus:
"It does feel nice to be out in the open air again. And the pathway is very lush as well."
Ramora:
"You too charmander, back in the ball. Get some rest, you did a good job not losing anyone in there."
* Ramora returns charmander also

Venec:
Venec returned Enya and sent Rhea out once again, "How are you doing? Think you can pull that regeneration again?"

Cepheus:
"I'd say the path forward looks rather straightforward, don't you?"

Danny:
Danny looked at Ramora with a happy grin, "I'm glad you're giving Cherr--er, I mean Blaze--more air time than me."

Danny:
Danny groaned at Cepheus's pun.

Danny:
"Yeah, forward..."

Danny:
"Remember! I'm the leader! Me first!"
DNA:
Cepheus recalled Estark, who he reasoned had pulled his weight through the forest trek. He left Jupiter out, who seemed to be rather enthusiastic about things still.
Kia:
Kia smiles. "Of course. After you Danny."
Ramora:
"Go ahead. I'll just trot behind and enjoy the view."

Danny:
Danny paused, turning back to Ramora... "Are you hitting on me?"

Danny:

Ramora:
"umm, why would I do that?" Scratches the back of his head.
Ramora:
"Totally not what I meant."

Cepheus:
"Don't bicker, you two. ...I'll bring up the rear."

Danny:
Danny groaned again.

Danny:
He stepped further, "Quick guys!"

Venec:
(The game's stopped here already..."

Venec:

Danny:
He turned back to Ramora, pointing his finger accusingly, "And don't try anything funny, PERV!"
