FoE RPG G0 - #018 Nightmare: Sotho

[20:04]	Sotho looks on in a bit of awe around him, slightly confused about his surrondings
[20:07]<SpiritOfFate>	Sotho is struck by a feeling. He realizes what is behind this, due to a deal he made not long ago. Shadows seem to creep along the wall cracks and evil eyes can be seen beyond them.
[20:07]	Sotho looks around and grits his teeth. "Show yourself."
[20:20]<SpiritOfFate>	The dark alicorn gathers from the shadows in front of Sotho. "So... your family isn't worth enough to you, after all." A fleeting thought of Firefly crosses Sotho's mind, and goes away.
[20:21]<Sotho>	He shakes his head lightly. "My family is worth as much to me as any faithful stallions family is! I am helping Firefly where her father should be, and he is not here."
[20:27]<SpiritOfFate>	The being of darkness grins wickedly. "So that is your choice."
[20:30]<Sotho>	"No. My choice is to help my group how I see fit. I want to go back and meet my wife and child terribly still."
[20:31]<SpiritOfFate>	"They won't wait. Who is to say they still remember you."
[20:31]<Sotho>	"Who is to say they don't?" He asks back
[20:45]<SpiritOfFate>	"It does not matter. Time is passing, and I will collect your offering."
[20:48]<Sotho>	"My offering?"
[20:56]<SpiritOfFate>	The dark alicorn turns away. "They still struggle, but it's only a matter of time."
[20:57]<Sotho>	"Who are they? Have you taken my friends?!"
[20:59]<SpiritOfFate>	"What else did you have to offer?" The dark alicorn starts to trot away. "They would abandon you in the end. I just hasten the inevitable."
[21:01]<Sotho>	"They would not abandon me, and I would never abandon them." He growls.
[21:04]<SpiritOfFate>	"Such foolish beings. They don't understand eternity, they don't understand change, or the void that consumes it all, from within and from without." The being of shadows seems to waver slightly.
[21:09]<Sotho>	"You're wrong." Sotho smiles. "We understand change, many of us try our best to start it." He says. "Change is liberating and morphing one's ideals for the better good." He thinks of Royal_Lace. "Change is seeing your own flaws and mistakes and using them to better yourself." He thinks of Hawkeye. "And Change is preserving innocence, even in this hellish world." He thinks of Firefly.
[21:18]<SpiritOfFate>	The shadowy being grows, spreading tendrils along the room. The walls crack further. "Those are foolish believes of beings fated to disappear."
[21:22]<SpiritOfFate>	Sotho hears Hawkeye's voice echoing from beyond the walls of the hall "Sotho! We're over here! Don't let 'em mess with your head!"
[21:23]<Sotho>	"But does that matter? If we disappear? All that would matter is if we change the world." He looks to the voice. "I know! I reccomend the same to you!" He smiles. "See, you are not as strong as you think."
[21:28]<SpiritOfFate>	"What was given to you can be taken away, and your strength shall fade as mine grows!" The tendrils blast the walls away and the hall is flooded by pure darkness.
[21:30]<Sotho>	"But you think you are all powerful, then why did you seperate us? Are you afraid of us?"He smiles. "Such a pity, a being who reverts to such underhoofed tactics. If you had any sense of pride you would show you could try and battle us together."
[21:31]<Sotho>	"You talk of the weakness of bonds and friendships, then why do you seem so frightened of them?"
[21:31]<SpiritOfFate>	The dark being grins many grins, no longer just an alicorn. "So shall be done."
