Promotions:

When a promotion occurs (for example a 20->40) a lot of members of the same rank tend to lash out at the person promoted claiming "they didn't deserve it" or "that should have been me". Let me say that there is a reason they were promoted instead of you. Many things are considered when we promote someone. It isn't (usually) some rushed decision. Know this, your time spent as a member doesn't as greatly reflect your chances of a promotion as when you actually moderate properly. Asking for a promotion and saying you've "been here for a long time" as a valid reason actually lowers your chances of a promotion. Also no promotion is made based solely on friendship status. If you show a higher up that you're ready for a promotion then we will most likely promote you.





Demotions:

I personally have had quite a bit of backlash concerning the topic of demotions so I feel I really need to get my point across with this. Since I'm in charge of ranks and what not some people feel that I can demote and promote whenever I want, but that is not the case. I solely can not and do not demote someone (same goes for promotions). I have to run it by Mook (sometimes others) and he needs to approve the demotion. Then and only then will you be demoted. (This process may be skipped if a serious offense is committed). Like promotions there is always a reason for a demotion. There is a somewhat misunderstanding when we demote someone based on the reason of "inactivity". Inactivity doesn't directly mean that your were "AFK" in the clan. It can also mean that you were not using your position actively. For example if a 60 is always on teamspeak but doesn't do anything and there is a 40 constantly in game who could better put that 60 position to use then you would get demoted for "inactivity" so that there is an open position for him to fill. There are many other reason a demotion may take place but I feel that meaning was the most non-understood.





Member & Users:

There is quite a bit of "drama" and hostility towards other members and users that I have to deal with on a regular basis. You are a member to help resolve drama and stomp out hostility... not to create such situations. This has been said many times but if you're a 20 and you're dealing with drama or any situation then contact a 40. If the situation escalates then contact a 60 and onward. (If the situation is severe enough then immediately contact an 80). Mook is too busy with his personal life and pxg to deal with your internet dilemmas and quite frankly I am to. If you can't control yourself properly and handle a situation as simple as an argument then you don't deserve your admin position. If you're having genuine issues with another member constantly harassing you then please contact me personally and I will have a talk with them about their behavior and take appropriate action. Just don't have a large scale caps-lock battle in-game or yelling contest in teamspeak.

I guess that these are enough reasons not to join  xD
