  1. 'So let me get this straight...' you ask as you had the Alicorn Princess Luna a mug of tea.
  2. >You were fortunate that you found an electric kettle as the mare took an unsettling interest in the thing, eying it with awe as she watch it boil.
  3. 'You're a Princess from a far off land who somehow or other got a copy of my book and liked it so much you came here?'
  4. "We can only agree, such work was worthy of our desire to find its creator."
  5. 'And how pray-tell did you manage that?'
  6. >Luna looks at you with a smile "Our power was capable of sending us to your realm, for which we had tracked you down at your place of residence. Though you were not home, we waited until you returned and followed you to this place."
  7. >You blinked, cursing under your breath for putting a bit of that info in the biography of where you currently lived.
  8. >Having a picture of yourself inside it wasn't smart either, but then again, you never expected a 'die-hard' fan to come stalking.
  9. 'So...I take it you've been watching me for awhile?'
  10. >She blushed, looking away as she didn't speak for a moment before her horn glowed and...magicked...her cup in a faint blue glow as she lifted it slowly to her lips and sipped.
  11. "Dost thou possess sugar or cream for our beverage?"
  12. >You were still trying to wrap your head around the fact a magical equine was standing in the kitchen with you as you place out milk and sugar.
  13. "We humbly thank thee for such a treat, indeed we were partched." She said, taking two spoonfuls of sugar and a dab of cream before she smiled, lifting her now sweetened beverage again to her lips.
  14. >With a sigh, you sweeten your tea as you pass the drink towards your mouth, blowing upon it before you sip.
  15. 'So, what interested you the most with my book then, not often do I get those who are so amazed by it that they come a calling?' you ask as she smiled.
  16.
  17. "Thou had put such a tale never before seen in our tomes of Equstria, though a work of fiction, we could not pass down such a riveting story of drama, adventure, and glory!"
  18. 'Glory?' You reiterate as she magicked the first novel you wrote before you as you take it and look it over, opening the first page to see it had been signed.
  19. >You never remember seeing a dark blue Alicorn at the book unveiling....wait.
  20. >The first time you unveiled a book, hardly anyone showed up, let alone bought your work.
  21. >You had signed one to put on display, hoping to draw attention but no on came.
  22. >Furious, you had thrown the book away, at least... you thought you did.
  23. >Seeing this was...comforting...if not really creepy.
  24. 'How did you get it?'
  25. >Luna smirks "We found it upon our doorstep, we had thought it a gift from a noble, but our guards had said neigh to any visitors to our royal chamber."
  26. >So you threw it through time and space...how the fack?
  27. >You sip your tea, contemplating this for a moment as Luna looks at you.
  28. "Will thy be willing to engross us in more of your fine works? We have read thy story several times and pray there is more than a cliffhanger ending."
  29. >A chuckle 'Yea...wrote two more after that.'
  30. "Two!?" She exclaimed as the mare had moved right up to you, her cup hovering beside her.
  31. "Has thou a copy of such works?"
  32. >Pressed against the counter, blinking at the closeness of this mare.
  33. >She was...oddly warm, and somewhat softly pressed against your gut as you slip away, dusting yourself off.
  34. >Personal space...you know...
  35.
  36. 'Uh...' You think for a second, knowing you didn't exactly pack them.
  37. >You sighed 'Sorry...not on me. The other copies I have are mostly in stores...but...I had some back home.'
  38. "Then we shall go there!"
  39. 'Haha, no can do...its an hour drive back... so unless you can-'
  40. >Before you can finish, there's a flash of light as you suddenly find yourself...back home.
  41. 'Teleport....wow...' you look at Luna 'How did you...?'
  42. >She grinned "We had followed you from here, it is not hard to go back whence we came."
  43. >okay...magical princess got you home...crap...you were hoping she wouldn't be able to do that as you sigh, slowly shaking your head from the vertigo.
  44. "Will thy present us with such wonders from your literature?"
  45. >You nod, slowly finding your bearings.
  46. >you were teleported to your front hall as you look around.
  47. 'Stay here, I'll go grab a copy of each...'
  48. >Luna looked about, your home was a pretty organized place.
  49. >To her right was a den that led into a kitchen while to the left she could see a study were the human anonymous was searching about before you returned to her with two books.
  50. 'Well..you're in luck, i had a copy of each sitting around...this is what you want?'
  51. "Yes, very much so good sir!" her eyes were alight as she studied the second and third installment.
  52. >You noticed her horn glowing as she attempted to magic the book as you yank it away.
  53. 'Whao..hold your horses...er...look, i can't just give these to you, if you want to borrow them-'
  54. "Borrow...we...we do not wish to borrow them, such a work deserves grander praise upon our shelves for all eternity!"
  55. >She pouted, looking a them with the dawest puppy eyes as she turned to you.
  56.
  57. 'Then pay up Princess, these books weren't publish for cheap you know... I mean, heck, you're a princess right, sure you can handle a couple of bucks no sweat.'
  58. >Luna looked away, casting her eyes down to the floor before looking back at you "Nay good sir...for we have already spent out allowance on such things...oh Celestia was wise to say to save such bits for something such as this."
  59. >She clonked a hoof to her head as you sigh.
  60. 'Look...if you really want to read them...I don't mind you doing that back at the cottage....perhaps we-'
  61. >Again...teleported...back to the cottage as you stumble a bit.
  62. 'Damnit...that's not cool...'
  63. "S-sorry..."
  64. >You dust yourself off as you look down at Luna with a firm expression.
  65. 'Look, I'm sure you came a long way here, and you know that means a lot to me, but its not very nice to stalk someone... let alone break into their bedroom.
  66. >Luna blinked, becoming quite flush "Oh..d-dear me, we had not realized that such a thing was wrong, such a thing has never been questioned back in our realm!"
  67. >You shake your head, she was...rather dense for that thought as you shake your head.
  68. 'You may be a Princess where you're from miss, but you can't really do that here; its breaking the law, you're lucky I don't call the police...'
  69. >Considering they won't believe you that a magical pony broke into your house, they might take you away for insanity.
  70. >She looked at you, almost terrified as you couldn't help but enjoy pulling her leg...or all four of them as you remain calm in your composure.
  71. >she quickly leans up to you, fore-hooves on your chest.
  72. "Nay! Please spare us from that fate, we are not ones to be taken well should we be....incarcerated in another realm! Oh...Celestia would have my head if she found out."
  73.
  74. 'Whose this Celestia?' You ask, rubbing your chin 'You mentioned her before.'
  75. "Why...she's my sister." Luna said "she is master of the Sun and our realms fair leader."
  76. 'Your sister huh, and she leads the place you're from? Sounds like quiet a big responsibility.'
  77. "Oh indeed it is! Such is her work that day by day she has little time to spend in more...relaxing manners...it is saddening to think she works herself tired after each day, but...there is little for us to do during her time of being awake."
  78. 'And why's that?'
  79. >Luna paused, she seemed rather down trotted when she mentioned her last line, with your further inquiry, she rose her head a bit, looking at you with sorrowful eyes.
  80. "We are the keeper of the night, when creatures slumber, we stand vigilant upon our world... as ponies sleep, I must watch their dreams and keep the peace between them and those creatures of the night."
  81. >You cross your arms, grinning a bit.
  82. 'So...wouldn't you...being here...present you shrinking your abilities as the lunar guardian or something?'
  83. >Oh shit talk about pale face.
  84. >Her blue almost turned teal as she spun around.
  85. "Oh, though is correct, such has our head be filled upon your book we could not dare to wait a moment longer! I had spent many sleepless days scouring the archives for such a spell to bring me here, yet we realize too late that it has come at the cost of our duties."
  86. >she turns to you with a very deep look.
  87. "Please....we seek only your book, we cannot linger forever and thou has already taken much of our time..."
  88. >Were those....tears....oh god she was going to give you the water treatment if you didn't react on that.
  89. >You sigh, waggling one of the books.
  90. 'Alright...I'll make a deal with you then. I'll let you borrow one book, you can take it, and then go back to wherever far-off land you came from. You can read it and take as long as you'd like, but you MUST bring it back when you finish it alright?'
  91.
  92. >Luna huffs, pouting again "nay to give a damsel such grace?"
  93. 'One who shrinks their duties doesn't deserve it, dose she?'
  94. >Touche on your part, she stutters, trotting in place for a few moments before sighing.
  95. "Very well...we shall agree to your deal, we shall finish this book with post haste and return for the final installment."
  96. 'Thank you.' You extend the second novel forward as she quickly magics it with a big grin.
  97. >It might be selfish of you to refuse this cute thing the chance of taking the book for keeps, but her expression of joy was...well...heart warming as she magicked the book.
  98. "Yes...haha..victory is ours!" she said with glee as she quickly opened it, pausing as she looked at the front.
  99. "We shall take the utmost care of it Sir Anon."
  100. 'Thanks...and...just try to keep it from your Sister okay? I don't want some benevolent Queen to come over here and start reading me a riot act.'
  101. >Luna blinked "Celestia has not been crown as a queen sir Anon, she remains as a Princess just as we."
  102. 'What...they...' you pause 'forget it...just go...'
  103. >Luna nodded, a bit hurt you shooed her away, but left without a word, bowing her head as she soon vanished in another flash.
  104. 'Strange...' you muttered 'How can Two Princess's be ruling the same place? That...doesn't make sense.'
  105. >You shrug, not your problem anyway as you turn about and walk back upstairs, you still needed your sleep and the night was wasting.
  106.
  107. --
  108.
  109. >The beeping of your clock wakes you the following morning as you groan, slamming your hand on the snooze button.
  110. >Last nights shenanigans were...interesting, and for once, you slept rather well.
  111. >How often did a Princess come about through time and space to meet an author they adore?
  112. >Not very often you figured as you rose and looked at your clock.
  113. >8am, you had some time before the store opened at 9 so you decided to get up, better than being lazy in bed.
  114. >Shower, dress, and head downstairs to the kitchen.
  115. >you prepare a pot of coffee as you notice the tea mug that Luna had use last night, remembering your deal with her.
  116. >A dire hard fan with magical powers... you smirk, hopefully she'd return again tonight as you pluck another Banana from the rack and open the fridge, checking for what food you had and what you need, grabbing a pen and paper as you make an extensive list of food stuffs.
  117. >Milk, eggs, cheese, the usual things as you figure you'd need for a week out here, considering there wasn't much to eat really, and you'd need your grub.
  118. >With your stomach somewhat filled and the list made, you clamber out to your car and drive into town.
  119. >The town was only 20 minutes or so from your place as you turn off the main road in.
  120. >You could see this was a rather small place, less than a quarter of the size of the city you came from.
  121. >Despite its size, the city was well equipped, you could see a general store, a grocery supermarket, and of course a hunting and fishing shop.
  122. >Typical... but then why wouldn't there be?
  123. >You pull into the grocery store, seeing the parking lot filled with a few pick-up trucks, easily dwarfing your SUV cross-over as you park beside a big black utility van.
  124. >Damn country folk and their big ass cars, probably diesel too.
  125. >You huff, easing out and over to the store as you grab a grocery cart and start shuffling through the aisles.
  126.
  127. >You grab what you need from the store; bread, eggs, milk, cheese, the usual things as you dump a few more important items like chicken and meat, perhaps put that
  128. grill outside to use.
  129. >You also get some sweets if Luna decides to come by again, maybe a box of sugar cubes and definitely some more tea as you load up your cart with your swag.
  130. >You push towards the checkout counter, a strange tune suddenly catches your ears.
  131. "My little pony, my little pony..."
  132. >A pause, you turn to your left and right, noticing off to the side, furthest from the door, a small play area for children.
  133. >It was probably for children of parents who wanted to shop quick and easy while giving their toddlers a place to play.
  134. >Toys and games littered the floor as you looked at the rather large Tv where two girls are sitting and watching a TV show.
  135. My Little P0ny, Friendship is Magic.
  136. >You had heard of that show, a lot of interest had come about it as you ease yourself and your cart over to the kids area to watch.
  137. >The episode started, having all those colourful p0nies dressed up in costume for something called 'Nightmare Night' which was quiet similar to Halloween.
  138. >To your surprise, the episode was presenting a very familiar mare.
  139. >Luna, making her appearance and actually being feared by everyp0ny aside from the protagonist Twilight Sparkle left the midnight Princess unsettled, even as going as far as to cancel the holiday.
  140. >It certainly begged the question why, and the story of her "Nightmare Moon" alter ego was vague, but certainly fearful for everyp0ny else.
  141. >Eventually, the p0nies grow use to the Princess thanks to Twilight's friends and in the end, the Luna Princess was granted the admiration her subjects should, and a lesson on friendship was learned.
  142. >You huffed, glad it turned out well as you sniff a bit.
  143. 'That was a pretty cool episode...what a touching story.' you mutter as the girls look at you.
  144. "Hey mister..." One said "You watch Ponies?"
  145. >You blink 'uhh not really, my cousin is into it...' you lie as the two girls look at each other.
  146. "Your weird mister..." One said as they both run off, leaving you to watch the ending credits as you sigh and turn about, heading over to the checkout.
  147. >You push your cart up behind another woman, the two girls you saw before by her side as one turns to you, tugging her mums leg.
  148. "Mommy, mommy, its the weird man."
  149.
  150. >You sigh, fucking kids as the mom looks back at you then at her daughter.
  151. "Melissa, that's not a very nice thing to say about a stranger, apologize to the man."
  152. >The little girls face went to a tad fearful as she hid behind her mums leg as her sister giggled.
  153. "I'm...s-sorry." she said as you waved a hand
  154. 'S'okay, you're just a weird kid.'
  155. >The mother shoots you a look as you rub the back of your head.
  156. >Her expression changes when she realizes who you are.
  157. "Why,aren't you that writer, Mr. Anon?" she asked as you blinked as you nod slowly.
  158. 'Yeah, that's me, I take it you've heard of my works?'
  159. "Heard of them? Why my dear my husband and I love them, we've read all three of your books!" she said with glee "Oh and here I am without any of them for you to sigh."
  160. 'Its okay...I'm kind of on vacation right now.'
  161. "Ah, work of a writer is tiring yes? I do hope you plan on producing more books sir Anonymous."
  162. 'Hopefully, been in a bit of a snag, but I'm sure something will come.'
  163. >The mother smiles before she turns and pays for her goods.
  164. "Well, just remember; people like your work, you shouldn't leave them hanging forever." she smiled "We'll be waiting!" she added before walking out with her kids and goods as you shake your head and proceed to check out your own goods.
  165. >Another twenty minutes and 70 bucks spent later, you're at home, putting the food in its proper place as you sigh, taking the cup Luna drank from, cleaning it and putting it aside with the sweets and tea as you crack open another soda and sit down to wait.
