  1. >Still day 25 in Equestria
  2. >You have just gotten done messing around with Darius and Altruist Hope after getting your severely broken body fixed up
  3. >Darius explained the theory behind why you woke up this morning with your body in such a sorry state to be due to an unknown magic flooding through your body
  4. >On the bright side, the magic seems to have fully healed your prior wounds completely, other than the scar that had been left on your abdomen
  5. >Your body apparently was abnormal compared to the creatures of this world, or so Darius strongly believed
  6. >The agreement you two had come to was to allow him to research your body with the doctors you normally had, which would help sate the curiosity for many of the unanswered questions you are surprised you didn't start asking yourself once you had arrived in this strange world
  7. >But enough reminiscing of what had already occurred, you were hellbent on seeing Flizzy and showing her that you had fully recovered
  8. >Hopefully you could show her at the same time as you got some grub, because you were extremely hungry, but you weren't going to get your hopes up
  9. >Flizzy has been actively avoiding you for the last week or so, after all
  10. >You had no idea why, but she kept telling you to "trust her", which you did
  11. >It didn't make you happy, though
  12. >She was your absolute best friend in this world, having her abandon you when you wanted her to be around the most made this week of being injured one of the worst times of your life
  13. >But that is alright.. maybe she just didn't want your crippled ass to drag her into stagnation too
  14. >..It was alright
  15. >Your chest tightens as your pace slows while walking towards the cafeteria
  16. "It's okay.. I didn't even want her to hang around, anyways. I was fine with my books.. alone."
  17. >The image of a familiar tricorn sleeping on your lap, keeping you company while you read to her, pops into your head as you think of how lonely the last week has been
  18. >A grin creeps up on your face as you think of her as your heart begins to beat faster
  19. "Heh. She was a weird one."
  20. >You chuckle, thinking of how adorably strange she is
  21. >For the rest of the walk to the cafeteria, you can't help but think about that awkwardly silent little mare
  22. >...
  23. >As you reach the cafeteria, you strut in proudly with a huffed chest
  24. >Surely the rest of the inmates, or at least the ones you know, will take notice
  25. >..
  26. >But they don't, not a single individual in the extremely crowded cafeteria even give you a glance
  27. >They all seem to be pre-occupied with a commotion being made over by one of the tables in the center of the room
  28. >You can't see what it is, as you are much too small to squeeze past any of these monstrous beasts surrounding the commotion, yelling pseudo-obscenities such as "You scaly slime ball! Leave her alone!" or "Yeah! Make that pompous parasprite feces licker sorry!"
  29. >Instead of trying to fight for a spot as a spectator, you go and grab some food; maybe the crowd will thin out enough for you to see what is after
  30. >Even though your body is extremely hungry you don't feel it at all, so instead of getting a full breakfast you just grab a few muffins and place them on your tray
  31. >This whole process takes less than a minute as there is no line, with most of the cafeteria's inmates are too busy with whatever is happening in the center of the room
  32. >You are about to take a seat at an empty table in the corner of the room, just outside of the ring of observers, when a pony trying to push his way through the crowd notices you, then grabs you, and uses you as a plow to push through the wall of massive inmates
  33. >The wall of creatures yields and lets you through surprisingly easily, with the most resistance you meet being the few creatures that don't notice you and the mystery pony pushing you coming through until you collide with their backs
  34. >"Hey! Check this out! A mare from our basketball game and the new dragon inmate are arguing or something!"
  35. >While his voice is miniscule compared to the yelling voices surrounding you, the voice of the pony pushing you is familiar enough for you to take a crack at who he is
  36. "Can't I at least put my muffins down, Umbright?"
  37. >You try to put a resistance up against his pushing, but your tray of muffins along with the surrounding inmates keep you from being able to balance properly, thus allowing him to continue pushing you forward with relative ease
  38. >"Shut up, Anon. Just eat them while you watch. You don't get to see this sort of sight every day!"
  39. >Freaking god! You guess you will just have to do as he says, not much of choice when he is forcing you through such a crowd
  40. >"We are almost there."
  41. >The anticipation in his voice, along with all of the yelling in filling up the room, causes you to also become anticipated for what you were about to see
  42. >As you take a bite of your muffin and reach the inner circle of the crowd, you start imagining who Umbright was speaking about
  43. >Is that dragon who tried to pick a fight with you from yesterday trying to fight the warden or something?
  44. >You can't imagine the cheerful, and somewhat annoying, Freedom Keeper losing to that guy
  45. >You saw how swiftly she handled Flizzy's flurry of swipes, treating them like a game of jump rope, he probably wouldn't be able to lay a hand on her
  46. >As you push through the last few creatures surrounding the scene, you spit out your muffin in disbelief
  47. >The tricorn from last night is standing silently, while being both cheered for and berated by different creatures in the crowd, staring at that dragon who tried to pick a fight with you yesterday, Slazd
  48. >He is constantly yelling at her, trying to swipe at her with his razor sharp claws, but stopping an inch before hitting her
  49. >"WHY? WHY CAN'T I HURT YOU?!"
  50. >Over and over, he continues to swipe at her unsuccessfully
  51. >He must not know about the anti-aggression magic barrier surrounding the prison that keeps creatures inside from willfully hurting each other
  52. >But why would he even be trying to pick a fight with her? What could she have possibly done to provoke anything?
  53. >After a few seconds of swiping, he tires himself out and stops swinging, but keeps yelling at her
  54. >"You POMPOUS and ARROGANT mare! You think YOU are better than me?! If I greet you, then you better not ever ignore me!"
  55. >He is flipping shit on her
  56. >But seriously, is he trying to hurt her because she didn't return his greeting?
  57. >What sort of sociopath shit is that?!
  58. >Even with everything that is happening, the tricorn continues to stare at him, unmoving, with a visage of indifference
  59. >"Grrrrr"
  60. >The dragon turns around towards a table and begins snarling
  61. >"DON'T YOU.."
  62. >He quickly turns as he begins to yell at her, plastic cup in hand
  63. >"..IGNORE ME!"
  64. >As he turns, he throws the cup as hard as he can in her direction
  65. >The cup goes flying into face, hitting her left eye, which she manage to close in time, and causing her to recoil in pain
  66. >Fucking no way..
  67. >As you see this happen, you throw the tray of muffins behind you and begin to run towards the now squinting tricorn
  68. >*PLANG*
  69. >"Ouch! Watch what you are doing!"
  70. >The tray hit Umbright who was behind you, but you are too preoccupied to apologize
  71. >When you reach the squinting tricorn, who is now frozen in the recoiling position, she does not take notice of you, but instead goes back to looking Slazd
  72. >Even as you kneel over to look at her hurt eye, which is bloodshot and watering, she just keeps staring emotionlessly at the stunned looking Slazd
  73. >"Oh. That worked."
  74. >He gains a twisted grin as he looks around for other things to throw at the tricorn
  75. >She just continues to stare at him, unmoving, as he gets ammo to pelt her with
  76. >You don't understand, why does she not run?
  77. >This was not going to go any further
  78. "Hey! Leave her alone. She just doesn't spea--"
  79. >A plastic cup sails past your face at an alarming speed after the dragon you were telling off chucks a piece of his ammo pile without warning
  80. >Slazd scowls at you, tilting his head upwards as if he were looking down on you
  81. >"Don't think I forgot about you, you disgusting pink pile of scaleless flesh. I am going to leave you both in a bloody pile of broken bones, you annoying sub-dragons!"
  82. >What?
  83. "Seriously. Just calm the fuck down, you don't need to be so violent."
  84. >Another cup is thrown, but this time you can react to it, ducking out of the way before it can find contact with your nose
  85. >Immediately after dodging, he chucks a tray at you two
  86. >This time it is aimed at the tricorn
  87. >Reacting as fast as humanely possible you try and block the tray, covering the tricorn with your body and allowing the tray to hit your back
  88. >The tray hurts as it hits, but the force is spread out over the entire tray, making it only a bit less painful than a normal punch to your back
  89. >What hurts you more than that is what you feel next
  90. >As you have your body surrounding the tricorn, you notice that she is not being cold towards the dragon; she may just not know how to react
  91. >She is shaking violently under you, likely out of fear or being overwhelmed by this unknown situation
  92. >What hurts more than anything is your broken heart as your mind races through all feelings she is currently having that is causing her to tremble so violently
  93. >Object after object is thrown at your back as you hear many members of the crowd go from Slazd's side to the tricorn's almost immediately
  94. >"You coward! Stop attacking the defenseless!"
  95. >"That's Anonymous, isn't it? Didn't he get injured recently?"
  96. >"Go kick his scaled butt in, Anon! Don't take this from him!"
  97. >The crowd is cheering for you and against Slazd, which causes him to get much more angry at the two of you
  98. >"If you don't like this, come stop me from doing! Oh yeah, you can't! Because you are nothing but a weakling!"
  99. >Umbright is starting to get annoyed himself, screaming along with the crowd at you
  100. >"Anonymous! You are smarter than this overgrown lizard! Beat him at his own game!"
  101. >Yeah yeah, easier said than done
  102. >Trying to shield a terrified pony while having tons of hard objects hurled at you kind of is taking all of your action points, you can't switch to attack mode damnit
  103. >Pelted object after pelted object, you take the pain to protect the pony who doesn't know how to protect herself in this situation
  104. >Eventually he runs out of things to throw and the onslaught of objects stops momentarily
  105. >"So, do you submit you sub-species pushover?"
  106. >You hear stomps from behind as he attempts to intimidate you while approaching you
  107. >The stomping gets closer slowly, each step causing the tricorn under you to shudder more intensely
  108. >She is still stuck in her previous pose while blankly staring in the direction Slazd is approaching you two
  109. >If you were not feeling her fear physically, you would likely never be able to tell she was actually afraid
  110. >This can't go on any longer, you decide now is the perfect time to make your move
  111. >You whisper into the tricorn's ear, trying to calm her down and reassure her that you would not let her get hurt
  112. "Listen. You have to run. I am going to stop him from chasing after you, please just run away as soon as I make my move. I won't let him hurt you, so just do as I say."
  113. >The stomping becomes louder and louder; Slazd is likely only a few feet away now
  114. >The tricorn keeps shivering more violently as the dragon approaches
  115. >You say it much more forcefully this time
  116. "Don't worry. He won't hurt you any further, I won't let him."
  117. >She finally responds to you, looking up at you with a frown, then nuzzling into your chest
  118. >You smile her unexpected response
  119. >The stomping stops directly behind you and you start to hear a vicious growling
  120. >"Grrrrrr. Don't tell me you actually passed out from only that."
  121. >Even with this dragon looming overhead, you feel absolutely no fear
  122. >You grab the tricorn's head and point it towards you, forcing her eyes to look directly into yours
  123. "Now go."
  124. >With that, her shaking stops and you spring into action
  125. >"Oh come on! WAKE U-"
  126. >As Slazd is antagonizing you, he is surprised by an uppercut to his gut as you quickly turn and punch upwards into him
  127. >"Grah!"
  128. >He backs up as you continue your onslaught
  129. >"What?!"
  130. >You swing wildly, trying to hit any part of him that you can
  131. >Though with each hit you land, your fist takes more damage than it deals
  132. >While Slazd is surely feeling the punishment of your blows, hitting him feels like striking a rock wall that slightly concaves on each hit
  133. >But you cannot stop yet, you have to buy enough time for that mare to escape
  134. >You continue to hit him over and over, even as your fists beg you to stop
  135. >Slazd keeps backing up as you punch him harder and harder, pushing him as far back as you can
  136. >He attempts to strike back between your strikes, but constantly keeps stopping before completing his swipe, just like what happened earlier with the tricorn
  137. >Finally, after a countless amount of blows on all different parts of his body, you cannot bear to hit him anymore
  138. >You look down at your fists, which continue to scream in pain from hitting such a ridiculously hard surface
  139. >His crystal-like scales seem to be as hard as they look; it was like you were hitting mineral deposits
  140. >Luckily, your fists are unharmed on the outside, but you can no longer close them to make a fist
  141. >Meanwhile, Slazd is backed up against a table, holding his body in pain
  142. >The cafeteria is no longer in an uproar, but silent as they question what they have just seen
  143. >Slazd asks the question that is seemingly on all of the spectators' minds
  144. >"H-How can you hit me, but I can't hit you?! That's not fair!"
  145. >Slazd starts slamming the table
  146. >"NOT FAIR! NOT FAIR! NOT FAIR!"
  147. >He keeps screaming that as he throws a temper tantrum like a little kid
  148. >Holy shit, you really think he has more wrong with him than just being a violent guy
  149. >He literally seems like a stupid and selfish teenager who knows absolutely nothing about life, trying to make everything about him, not caring about the consequences for his actions
  150. >Out of all of the creatures you have seen in this prison, he is by far the most impulsive and stupid
  151. >And yes, you are even speaking about the barely sentient ones such as the slime
  152. >As you watch him, while rubbing the back of your hands, go completely ape-shit over this you feel a bump nearly trip you from behind
  153. "What the?"
  154. >Looking down at the thing that just bumped you, you see the tricorn pushing up against the back of your thigh with her shoulder
  155. >She is staring at the raging crystal-like dragon, no longer with indifference, but with an intense glare
  156. "Damnit. What are you still doing here?"
  157. >The tricorn pushes harder against you, hugging her head against your outer thigh, which distracts you from what was coming next
  158. >As you looked down towards the tricorn cuddling up against you, a large shadow enters your field of view in front of your feet
  159. "Huh?!"
  160. >You look back up to see Slazd standing in front of you with a large chair hoisted above his head
  161. >Oh no..
  162. >You try to take a step back, but bump into the tricorn who was clinging to you, tripping onto your ass
  163. >The crystal scaled dragon morbidly speaks down to your fallen form, with a scowl upon his face
  164. >"I don't lose. I never lose. You cheated. Cheaters never win in the end."
  165. >After saying that, he takes the large chair above his head and throws it forward
  166. >As he does that, you put up your hands to protect yourself and look away, closing your eyes
  167. >The tricorn jumps onto you to protect you the best she can, like you did for her
  168. >The audience gasps and you brace yourself for the impact
  169. >*SMACK*
  170. >..
  171. >..
  172. "Huh?"
  173. >You exclaim in confusion, as the loud slapping sound is not accompanied with a chair smashing into your body
  174. >..
  175. >*GRRRRR*
  176. >A much deeper, more terrifying, growl than what you have been hearing from Slazd comes from where he is standing
  177. >You slowly open your eyes, hands still up ready to defend yourself, turning your head back forwards
  178. >The slight shadow that came from the chair above you is now completely eclipsed by something casting a much larger shadow
  179. >As your eyes adjust to see clearly in the large shadow enveloping you, a bright red flame erupts from two small adjacent holes in front of you, much above your position, leaving a trail of thick smoke coming out afterwords
  180. >I-It's..
  181. >The one casting the shadow, exhaling fire and clutching one of Slazd's upraised arms with their massive claw, speaks in a spine-chillingly grim tone
  182. >"...What are you doing with my hyooman?"
  183.
  184. *A few minutes earlier*
  185. >Be Flizzy
  186. >You are walking into the cafeteria to finish getting everything ready for the big night tonight
  187. >As you enter the cafeteria, you notice that there is a large number of inmates crowding around the center of the room
  188. >They are whispering quietly to one another, the loudest of whispers currently being the creatures who can't see what is going on
  189. >You would be lying if you said you weren't curious what was also going on, but instead of trying to push your way through, you decide it would be better to just ask somepony
  190. >You approach the prison lamia-pony, Alicia Fate, and tap on her shoulder
  191. "Hey, Alicia. What's happening?"
  192. >Alicia turns to you and gives a warm smile
  193. >"Hello, Granbe--.. oh whoops, wrong dragon. Hello, Flizzy. Not much is 'happening' with me, but how are you?"
  194. >That is not what you meant by "what's happening", but you decide to humor her
  195. "Well I am doing good. But what I meant was; what is happening in the cafe? Is something happening in the middle of the circle?"
  196. >Alicia claps her hands
  197. >"Ooooh! Yes, that. Not much is happening in the middle, just the hyooman you used to hang out with getting assaulted by one of the new inmates."
  198. >Hang on
  199. "WHAT?!"
  200. >Alicia gives an innocent giggle
  201. >"Yes. Apparently the new inmate learned about the 'throwing objects' loophole in the barrier already and decided to start bullying a pony with it. The hyooman stepped in to protect the pony and became the new target for his harassment. Kind of sad, but that sort of thing happens when you act like a fake hero."
  202. >Oh Celestia damnit!
  203. >This is not happening
  204. >Not today of all days
  205. >"So. You going to go be a fake hero too?"
  206. >You let out a snarl in anger towards the thought of Anon being hurt once again and push apart the crowd, making your way through it at the fastest pace you can
  207. >"Hey!"
  208. >"One side!"
  209. >"How rude!"
  210. >Some of the inmates in the crowd say angrily as you push them aside
  211. >As you reach the front of the crowd, you see a young blue crystal-looking dragon right in front of you, holding a chair large enough to support creatures of your size
  212. >And below him and the chair you see Anon shielding his face, with the tricorn from last night laying on top of him while cowering
  213. >Upon seeing the scene, something in you snaps
  214. >The dragon yells something at Anonymous as you approach him from behind then tries to throw the chair down upon him
  215. >But as he does so, you reach out your claw and grab him by the back of the arm
  216. >Now you are standing above him who is standing above Anonymous
  217. >The anger you are feeling is extreme, but you have to try and keep control of your emotions; if just for today
  218. >You exhale and inhale deep breaths as slowly as possible, trying not to rip this adolescent dragon apart with every loophole you know exists in this barrier
  219. >Speaking as calmly as you possibly can bring yourself to, you ask
  220. "...What are you doing with my hyooman?"
  221. >Anonymous looks up at you with a somewhat frightened look upon his face
  222. >Why would he.. OH..
  223. >Apparently you couldn't fully contain yourself and started breathing fire in anger
  224. >You try to calm yourself further; for Anonymous
  225. >The brat, resisting your grip, still trying to throw the chair at Anonymous, yells at you
  226. >"LET GO OF ME! I AM GONNA HURT HIM! HE IS A CHEATER!"
  227. >Trying as best as you can to mimic Anon's usual peaceful attitude to resolve his conflicts, you try and convince him to drop the chair
  228. "Calm down. Put down the chair right now, before you do something you regret."
  229. >He takes this as a threat instead of a peaceful suggestion, though, and yells at you
  230. >"I WILL MAKE YOU REGRET THIS AFTER I RIP HIM APART!"
  231. >This tantrum is getting old and grating on the last of your nerves
  232. >If it weren't both for the fact that today was a special day and that Anonymous was watching, you would have already lost your temper upon this brat
  233. "I said.."
  234. >With your free arm you combine your brute strength and your currently dulled claw to split the chair in two above his head
  235. "...to calm down before you regret it."
  236. >The small blue dragon loses his grip on the now destroyed chair and drops it on his own head
  237. >"OW! Why you--!"
  238. >He turns around while in the middle of his sentence to be immediately silenced in awe upon seeing you
  239. >As you look down at him and ask him,
  240. "Why I what?"
  241. >, he falls onto his back and starts to stutter out in fear
  242. >"W-W-Why are you here?!"
  243. >What?
  244. "I am here because I am. Now move out my way kid, before I show you exactly how much I know about bending rules and bones."
  245. >This brat has no more importance to you, now he is only an obstacle between you getting to your Anonymous
  246. >"Kid?"
  247. >Anonymous asks this question in disbelief, now sitting up
  248. >Seeing Anonymous being alright takes off some of the edge and nervousness you had been harboring this entire time
  249. >Your demeanor becomes docile and your tone truly calm as you stop showing any form of hostility
  250. "Anon, you are alright?"
  251. >Stepping over the cowering dragon, you walk over to Anon to help him and the pony laying on him up on their feet
  252. >He stands up, clutching his back, while the tricorn seems to get up quite easily, actually trying to help Anon back on his feet by pushing with her hooves on his butt
  253. >You become worried greatly upon seeing Anon clutching his back, as you can only imagine what type of terrible injury he has now
  254. >He has been injured way too many times lately, it would break your heart to see your kindhearted and adorable Anonymous become badly hurt once again
  255. "Anon, your back.."
  256. >Anon seems to take notice of your worrying and gives his signature lighthearted smile to help reassure you
  257. >"It's not that bad, I just gained a few bruises from this ordeal."
  258. >Upon fully reaching his feet, he leans on you, giving you a one armed hug
  259. >"If there is any consolation I can take from this, it is you are here now. Been a week too long."
  260. >Your scales upraise and tint a slight pink upon his one armed hug
  261. "Anon.."
  262. >His adorable vulnerable state hits the deepest part of your predatory instincts, making you want to pounce him
  263. >But instead of that, you just give in to your desire to hug him back
  264. >"O-OW!"
  265. >You let go upon hearing him yelp in pain
  266. >Oops, you kinda put too much force into it, forgetting about the bruises on his back
  267. >Speaking of which, there is the one who hurt your Anonymous lying right over there
  268. >Except he is no longer laying down, but instead making his way out of the crowd and towards the door
  269. >"I've had enough of this for today. You are just lucky that she came to save you."
  270. >The bratty dragon slams the cafeteria door behind him
  271. >He is extremely lucky that you were trying to keep on your best behavior today, because the urge to hurt this other dragon became more intense the longer you stayed around Anonymous, who was now trying to avoid clutching his back to keep you from getting worried
  272. >As Anonymous tries to stop leaning upon you, trying to walk upon his own strength, he fails and falls back onto your arm
  273. >He is breathing heavily while stiffening his back, leaning himself into you
  274. >After grabbing ahold of you once again, he looks up at you
  275. >"I-I'm sorry Flizzy, let me stay like this for just a little while longer."
  276. >His embarrassed blushing, gasping and stifled moans from the soreness in his back, and the pitifully adorable way he looks up at you with what you believe are some tears in his eyes
  277. >..
  278. >Your scales become even more flushed and slightly more upright than before, as you cannot look him in his eyes any longer
  279. >You look away and hold your face to hide your smile
  280. "N-No problem Anon. Stay like that as long as you want."
  281. >Well, you guess that this brat's actions weren't all that bad
  282. >You try to keep as calm and collected as you can, holding yourself back with all of your might so that you don't ruin the surprise you had put so much work into on impulse
  283. >But Anon is making it really hard..
  284. >You hope you can make it until the surprise at this rate
  285. >Deciding that now is the best time over any other, you break the silence
  286. "Anon, would ya be interested in coming and spending the rest of the day with me?"
  287. >Please say yes..
  288. >Anon looks up at you with a smile so sweet that sugar itself would get diabetes
  289. >"Yeah. I would love to."
  290. >Hnnnng. Your heart is pierced by him.
  291. >This is it, all of your hardwork is going to come to how this day goes, especially the evening
  292. >You really hope you don't screw it up
  293.
  294. >Be Anonymous
  295. >Your back is hurting a decent amount after the amount of stuff that had been thrown at you by that "kid" dragon from earlier
  296. >You really will have to ask Flizzy about that "kid" comment, though; you really hope you didn't just get into a fight with a child
  297. >At the moment, you are leaning up against your best friend, trying not to strain your back too badly
  298. >Just after being able to gain the ability to walk, you are already back to needing support to move around
  299. >You really hope she is not laughing right now, she randomly turned her head and started covering her mouth after you asked her for help
  300. >She is not that type of dragon, but it is still extremely embarrassing to constantly be in such a pathetic state every time you see her
  301. >If she was not such a good friend, she probably would have left you alone and found new friends by now
  302. >She must really be getting annoyed with you by now, that is probably why she stopped hanging out with you for the week
  303. >The depressing thoughts of how much Flizzy must be starting to dislike you start circulating your head over and over, until the silence is destroyed by Flizzy
  304. >"Anon, would ya be interested in coming and spending the rest of the day with me?"
  305. >Honestly, you would rather go back to your room and get some sleep, but the last thing you want to do is make Flizzy hate you even more
  306. >Maybe this is the way you can repair your friendship; you HAVE to take this opportunity
  307. "Yeah. I would love to."
  308. >You give her the best smile you can, trying to show her that you are very much welcoming of this opportunity to hang out with her once again
  309. >As you do that, Flizzy once again does something strange
  310. >"Hnnnnng."
  311. >She clutches her chest with her claw as you look up to her
  312. "Flizzy? Are you alright?!"
  313. >She just looks away once again clutching her mouth
  314. >You think you saw a large goofy looking smile, before she looked away, but that may have just been her gritting her teeth
  315. >For both of your sakes, you hope it is just her smiling; though you can't really imagine why she would be smiling
  316. >Before you can ask her once again if she is alright, she picks you up in a princess carry
  317. "Hey. What?"
  318. >She looks around the room for a few seconds before looking down at you and asking you
  319. >"So. Before we can start the day, we need to get you back in your wheelchair. Where did it go?"
  320. >You struggle to try and get out of the princess carry, it feels uncomfortable and embarrassing
  321. "Please put me down."
  322. >"Huh?"
  323. >You keep trying to struggle, but to no avail; you don't want to struggle too hard after all, that would be even more embarrassing than her holding you itself
  324. "I can walk now. My body is all better.. well other than my back now. I don't need a wheelchair."
  325. >Flizzy looks at you in disbelief, then around the room once again, then back at you
  326. >"Really?"
  327. >You respond as best you can while trying to roll yourself out of her grip
  328. "Yeah, I healed faster than expected. I don't even know why."
  329. >You try to make her put you down again, but it honestly is not that easy with your back not being able to twist that well at the moment
  330. "So mind putting me down? I can walk.."
  331. >Flizzy, even pinker than you remember her being, trembles for some reason with a huge smile on her face while you struggle around in her arms
  332. >She then replies to your request with a small hint of excitement in her voice, for some unknown reason
  333. >"No, I can't do that. I'm gonna carry you to the first place we are gonna go today."
  334. >This is not really preferred, but the more you struggle, the more the crowd around you tends to laugh
  335. >You just cover your face in embarrassment and let her do as she pleases, unhappily
  336. "Whatever."
  337. >Flizzy's body once again trembles for a second when you do this, with her letting out a single heavy breath
  338. >"Don't worry Anon, I've got your best intentions in mind."
  339. >You feel strangely uneasy as she says that last sentence and starts carrying you through the crowd and out the door
  340. >This extreme embarrassment and strange uneasiness you are feeling makes you constantly wish that you were walking
  341. >For the entire walk out of the cafeteria, you just keep covering your face in embarrassment
  342. >As you exit the cafeteria, from behind you hear a trotting following Flizzy and you
  343. >You uncover your eyes to see that it is the Tricorn following you two
  344. >But before you can react, Freedom Keeper walks over to her and stops her from following you two by grabbing her with a hoof and pushing her back towards the cafeteria
  345. >The last you see of the Tricorn, before the cafeteria door closes, is her reaching out towards you with a heartbreaking sad look as she is being pushed backwards
  346. >..Sorry
  347. >You feel like a jerk not pointing out that she was following you two to Flizzy, but for some unknown reason you felt like you just wanted it to be the two of you while hanging out
  348. >Maybe it was the embarrassment you were feeling right now and not wanting to be seen by any other inmate?
  349. >Maybe it was because you wanted to just get a chance to hang around your best friend and dedicate all of the time to you after not seeing her for so long?
  350. >Whatever the reason, you can't really pinpoint it; you just know you don't want to share this rare amount of Flizzy time you finally have again with anyone else
  351. >Even if that means you have to endure this embarrassing way she is carrying you
  352. >Speaking of which, she is surprisingly good at carrying you like this while walking on her hind legs
  353. >As you go down the hallway, Flizzy speaks to you while still looking forward
  354. >"You are going to love today, it took me this whole week to get it ready."
  355. >..
  356. >Whole week?
  357. "Hang on, so for this whole last week, you were planning a day for us to hang out?"
  358. >She gives a small chuckle and then replies happily
  359. >"Yeah. So you better enjoy it."
  360. >Then she looks back down at you and smiles the way she used to back when you two hung out more often; which in turn makes you smile back
  361. >Now this is more like it, hanging out with Flizzy again after such a long time
  362. >You don't know why she spent an entire week of planning on just hanging out, but whatever today was going to be, you were gonna love it just because she did it for the both of you
  363. >As best friends
  364. >You continue down the prison hallway, not minding the way you are being carried anymore, towards your first destination of the day Flizzy had planned for the two of you
