Summary
-Thomas and the other Gladers have escaped the maze and are put into a dormitory.
-Next day They wake up and see people called Cranks shouting through the windows
- they get out of this room and thomas searches for teresa ,but instead he finds a boy named Aris ,whois of group B
-Aris explaines to Thomas and friends that he and his group has passed through a maze like Group A did
-Next they they see a man who tells them that Earth has been ravaged by sollar flares!!! He continues that if the Gladers survive his tests, they could assist in the creation of a cure for the disease with which they are all infected, if they can make it to a "safe haven" 100 miles north
-The story then shows their adventures through the sun
-Thomas and his friends is accompanied by Brenda(she has flare) and her Boss.
-Thomas and brenda get seperated from rest of them
-They reunite again
-Thomas is captured and is tried to kill by Teresa and Group B ladies
-The ladies later leaves him alone
-Again he is captured by teresa who tells him she should kill him,
Thomas feels perplexed about what happened .He a=later finds that teresa was accompanied by aris .He inhales a gas and faints out
- Teresa begs Thomas's forgiveness, based on instructions that if he did not feel totally betrayed, he would be killed by Wicked
-Later Group A and B reunite with Thomas ,Aris and Teresa,But only to be faced by a deadly strom and monsters
-.The groups fight back, and a WICKED space shuttle picks them up, where they are told that the experiments are done,Later Thomas is fainted again. However, once again Thomas awakens, this time in a padded cell, and is told telepathically by Teresa that he has been gone for a week
-In the epilogue, an email is featured, that WICKED will soon tell the Gladers whether or not they are immune to the Flare
