  1. She is a wise Tsol'aa and every movement she makes is like streamlined silk, practiced, measured, and careful. She stalks more than walks, with her chin canted, each step purposeful and predatory. With a glance she could be mistaken for some mud-covered lost child, if cynical cruelty hadn't carved her features into sharpness. Thick pastes of body paint cover most of her tanned skin in bold, broad lines and patterns. Red, black, and white are splashed over her body, accentuating and curling around lines of hard muscle and feminine curves alike. The top half of her entire face, from nose to forehead, is coated in black paint, thick as tar, which only seems to illuminate lantern eyes so pale they might be thought colorless but for the faintest drop of sea foam. Thick, plush lips lend a deceiving softness to the small aquiline nose and razor-edged lines of her otherwise youthful face. Her hair, hanging down to her waist in dozens of braids, has been dusted and caked in white paint so thick that the true color is completely hidden. The braids sway about her body, and the bone capped ends clink faintly as she advances.
