  1. Hi guys, ok, I have the most weird problem EVER. If you help me fix it I'll love you and I'll marry you. Here's the problem: I've got a computer with Windows 8.1 running. I had a mouse (Logitech MX518) but bought a new one (Logitech G500s). The mouse worked the first days without problem. But from one to the other day the mouse made problems. When I leftcklicked on the desktop it was a right click. I couldn't click on the task bar and I couldn't click on the context menu entries ( I could open the context menu however ). So then I thought, maybe a driver problem between MX518 and G500s and since I wanted to reformat my computer anyway I did it and now have fresh Windows 8 on it. Installing Win 8 worked without problems. But then, the same problem... The strange part: The mouse gets recognized as keyboard AND mouse. I don't know why. My device manager recognizes it under mouse as HID-mouse and g500s and under keyboards as HID-Keyboard. I can't use this mouse, I don't know why. I uninstalled all drivers and just installed the Logitech Gaming Software(which offers laso drivers) but the problem still remains. What is this? Why does my mouse gets recognized as mouse AND keyboard and why can't I use it?
