”What so now you’re judging on personal taste, get off it you damn nazi, who cares what you think if its not to your taste. You don’t have that right, I fixed the glow being cropped. Gold glow fits just fine, the dam clearart/logo is the exact same color.”

Speaking to a moderator like that WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!

We are all volunteers here and don’t get paid to be berated. If you have a problem with a moderator or with a denial you feel is unfair, you should contact one of the admins. There are proper ways to deal with a conflict, and this is not it.

You should read the section of the ”Getting Started” guide at the bottom of every page. It explains Site Etiquette. We appreciate all contributions to the site, but that doesn’t give you the right to treat the staff rudely.

Please consider this your one and only warning.

Indeed, It was a bit harsh, BUT, don’t ever bring personal tastes into such websites, it suggest discrimination, to everyone because someone doesn’t like a certain color, etc. Talk to (Paszt) leave personal tastes out of it, i agree if the image doesn’t meet the standards of the site, Which is a good thing (you don’t want just any dirty image on the site(dirty as in unfinished rough etc)) it should be denied.

Denying a image Solely on the premises of his/her tastes is, i believe NOT the purpose of the site. Never assume what another person may like, maybe other people of the public would like it.

I redone the image so that it wasn’t cropped at the top, i will upload it again (this time please give me a legitimate reason for DENIAL)

No BUTs about it! He wasn’t rude to you in his denial and whatever your feelings about the reason, he didn’t deserve your reply. PERIOD

I’m not going to engage with you about this issue when you use sentences like ”don’t ever bring personal tastes into such websites”. Demanding how we should do things is not the way to be heard.

If you read the site etiquette section like I asked, I stated that I realize that people are passionate about their art and I understand that, but that gives no right to act like a petulant child. I am happy to discuss any issues with our policies or reasons for denials, but only when it’s done in a civilized way.

In the interest of full disclosure, Paszt himself has had images denied in the past due to the use of glows, so he was just following in the same suit of what he was taught. So lashing out at him personally is not only unfair, it shows that you jumped to a conclusion. Opening up a friendly dialog with Paszt about the denial might have answered your questions, and shown you the proper way to remedy it.

I am not opposed to to discussing this further and revising the rules to make them clearer, but only when it can be done in a civilized manner.
