1.4 - paraphrase - D (The fact that methods of support haven’t changed is the most essential information because it’s the main clause of the original sentence.)
2.3 - fact - A (The properties are more stable than individuals, so they change more slowly.)
2.7 - inference - C (The redwood forest is used as an example of what happens in temperate zones. The other three choices are incorrect according to the sentence about redwood forests.)
3.1 - fact - D (“semiarid” doesn’t tell us anything about temperature, and “low-intensity” farming and ranching means there wasn’t a lot of it)
