Murderface lays in bed, remembering what happened in the Doomstar Requiem. He's remembering that cut he had gotten from the Depths of Humanity. Eventually, as he travels further deep, bodies of the ocean start to take form of gods and sing to Nathan "Leave this all behind and look away. Though we almost drown we don't go away. See the world below reborn. Speak the words become the storm." Nathan feels the spirit of the water god looming nearer. It's saying that his heart still beats like a "clock". Bodies of the ocean begin to fade away, replaced by the queen of Nathan's fantasy. The voice of this god appears before Nathan and she says Dethklok is the sky. They are the dust from the stars. They are the rain. They own the night. They own the sky. Upon hearing these words from the water god, Nathan ponders one last time if this is really is the thing he needs to be set free.
