  1. A singular event purged their society of confl ict,
  2. leaving them focused for the time to come. Rafts, each
  3. bearing dozens of skeletons, drifted unerringly toward
  4. Bluehaven. Closer inspection revealed that the rafts
  5. were of more bones fused together. The dead were of
  6. all ages, picked clean by time and tides, the skeleton
  7. passengers fused to the vessels by Wyld energies.
  8. The rafts clogged Bluehaven’s harbor, halting all
  9. naval traffi c. Thousands inundated the city until every
  10. inhabitant was constantly aware of the cadavers surround-
  11. ing their home. Without warning, all the skeletons but
  12. one sank beneath the surface. Bobbing on the waves, the
  13. last skeleton became a green-skinned, blind old man who
  14. announced that the Lintha dead had honored Bluehaven
  15. with their presence and required a fi tting place of rest.
  16. Within weeks, the Lintha had built a vast un-
  17. derwater sepulcher in which they interred the bodies
  18. of their ancestors. It rests in a dead end deep within
  19. the labyrinth of dead ships, separate from the city
  20. itself to give the honored dead peace. The Lintha
  21. named it the Coffi n Vurjawna, the Lintha home
  22. of the dead.
