  1. Felid
  2.
  3. Sly catlike beings from the neighboring kingdom of Abyssinia. Quick on their feet.
  4.
  5. Primary racial:
  6. Claws: passive; Felids have natural claws that they can extend and retract at will. Unarmed attacks can now deal wound damage and count as Dual weapons for the purpose of skills.
  7.
  8. Secondary racials:
  9.
  10. Limber: recharge 3; Dodge any incoming non-magical attack completely, negating its damage. Outside of combat, you can jump higher, drop from greater heights without taking damage, and can climb surfaces with relative ease. The difficulty of doing so varies from case to case, and is left to the DM's discretion.
  11.
  12. Hunter's Eye: automatic instant, once per combat; Your vision, smell and hearing are unparalleled. An enemy targeted by this skill cannot use Stealth, is removed from Stealth if already using it, and you gain a +1 bonus to all attacks against the target until the end of combat. You can also see in the dark without the need for a light source.
  13.
  14. Catfight: weapon, automatic, once per combat; Felids are deceptively powerful when provoked. You launch into a flurry of attacks, harrying your opponent with consecutive blows. By default, this attack does 3 hits worth of damage; however, with every failed recovery roll prior to the activation of Catfight, the skill gains +3 hits of damage, or +6 on a critfail, to a maximum of 18 hits. After being activated, you must take a turn to recover from the sudden exertion. If this skill is used against a Diamond Dog or another Felid, Catfight gains an additional +3 hits, to a max of +21. Catfight can be used while helpless, but does not recover from it.
  15.
  16. Nine Lives: Whether by pure luck or some otherworldly force, some Felids are surprisingly hard to get rid of. Whenever you'd take a hit that would knock you helpless, you drop to 1 hit remaining instead. It starts with a recharge of 0, but gains a recharge of 1 every time it is rolled successfully, up to a maximum recharge of 9. Nine Lives cannot be buffed by other skills.
