  6. Marco and Star watched in horror, as Kale began to change. His skin began to crack and bleed becoming thick with black scales, his fingernails grew into sharp claws, his boots tore apart as his feet turned into bird-like talons with scales much like the rest of his body. His chest rippled as it grew muscle, he grew to big for his shirt and it ripped open his chest was now nothing but scales and ridges looked like the bottom part of an iguana. Kale moaned in agony as a spiky tail began to emerge from behind him, the transformation being incredibly painful. The skin on his face rippled as it was replaced by scales and expand outward much like a crocodiles snout. He opened his mouth to scream and Marco could see his teeth fall out and in place grow large fangs. His wings re-emerged from his back but far bigger now as did some horns on his head, he kinda reminded Marco of Tom but much much more fucked up looking.

  8. "Oh, it does feel good to show my true self" Kale said his voice now deeper and growlier.

  10. Marco held onto Star, this thing was NOT getting to her. Star told him to run but Marco refused, he's not letting this thing hurt her anymore. Kale lowered his head and let out a literal roar, loud enough to break some windows. Kale began to circle around them, as if waiting for Marco to do something.

  12. "If were going to fight, I need to get into the house I have an idea," Star told Marco, who was still in pain.

  14. "No way, I'm not leaving you out of my sight"

  16. "You love me, then trust me"

  18. Marco nodded, and eased up his grip on Star who stood up by herself.
  19.  
  20. "I'm going to kill him, you know this right?" Marco said to Star.

  22. "Marco please don't do any-"
  23.  
  24. "He ripped off your wing just for his sick pleasure bet he got off on it too and then he was going to do god knows what," Marco said openly crying.

  26. The Dragon Kale thing began to move towards them.
  27.  
  28. "I'll give you a distraction, when I say go run and do what your going to do I just want him to pay for what he's done to you" Marco twirled the sword in his hand.

  30. Star nodded and kissed his neck ready for the signal. She could sense the pain Marco is in right now, not just physical but emotional...if someone hurt him like how Kale hurt her she would be out for blood too. Regardless she knew she couldn't change his mind Marco was beyond reason anymore that the power of love like that song from that movie Marco likes.

  33. "Go...NOW!" Marco whispered. Star then ran for the house. Kale lifted himself up with his wings attempting to attack, but Marco was ready.

  35. "hey fuck face look at me" Marco shouted.

  37. Kale turned his attention on Marco, he lowered his head and roared again. Marco could smell gas as he did so he knew what was coming. Seconds before a stream of fire erupted from Kales new snout Marco rolled out of the way, the fire breath made a lamp post and parts of the grass catch fire but Marco had no time to worry about that.

  39. Kale growled after he realized he missed, worse the girl had gotten inside the house. No matter the boy was the bigger threat once he burns him to a crisp it wouldn't surprise him if Star just killed herself.

  41. "Wow so is this like your final form or do you super Saiyan as well?" Marco taunted him.
  42.  
  43. "Watch your tongue boy" kale said and let out another blast of fire, which Marco dodged.
  44.  
  45. "Star said your like 18, I'm older then you "boy" Marco countered.
  46.  
  47. "You know I've dealt with a lot of her ex-boyfriends but oh man you take the cake."

  49. Kale flapped his wings creating a strong gust of wind attempting to knock Marco down, but Marco stayed his ground.

  51. "You ever met this Tom guy? Holy shit now he was scary, you are the ugliest motherfucker she's been with though so there's that"

  54. Kale flew at Marco in a rage, but Marco leaped over him as he passed swinging his claws. Kale felt a sharp pain on his new tail Marco had brought down the sword on its tip slicing it clean off.

  56. "I've killed many of your kind Kale" Marco taunted twirling the sword still.
  57.  
  58. "There is no magic in this dimension my kind do not exist here" Kale snapped and leaped at Marco again. Marco ran at him to Kale surprise and swung the sword slicing a bit of flesh off his chest. Kale raised his head trying to charge another blast from his dragons breath but was unable to, either to still getting used to his new form or he was out of whatever powered it.

  60. Marco saw this and dived into Kale's shoulder first hitting him in the chest, despite growing a few feet Marco had been able to stun him. He slashed at kales chest again he now had a distinct X-shaped scar.

  62. "As I was saying before you rudely interrupted me, I didn't kill them on Earth I went to another dimension called Nirn and on Nirn I discovered the snowy land the locals dubbed Skyrim"

  64. "Your lying"

  66. Marco just raised his eyebrow. "I absorbed their souls...AFTER I slaughtered them, the citizens would call me Dragonborn"
  67.  
  68. Kale got on all fours and dashed at Marco, Marco tried to get out of the way, but kale tripped him with his tail. He pounced on Marco and attempted to summon his fire, but Marco held his sword against Kale's throat causing a misfire. Marco could feel his hair get singed by the heat.

  70. "Why do you think I was assigned as Star's guardian on earth? It wasn't just for my good looks"
  71.  
  72. Kale tried to bite Marco's head, but Marco kept him away with his sword. He noticed something from the corner of his eye, but couldn't quite make it out

  74. "I killed the world eater, some whiny bitch like you is nothing to me"
  75.  
  76. Kale lifted himself up from Marco and raised his huge claws on what was his hands intending to use them to impale him once and for all.
  77.  
  78. Marco stood up and raised the sword to his face ready to counter. Suddenly a blue beam of energy hit Kale on the back making tumble to the ground. Within seconds, Star was on his back riding him like how cowboys ride a bull. Marco tossed his sword to Star who caught it by the hilt effortlessly.

  80. "Lets see how you like getting your wing clipped" Star shouted as she sliced through one of Kales wings with Marco's sword. It wasn't enough to make the wing fall off so Star yanked on it with all her might finally ripping it off. Black blood sprayed everywhere from the oozing wound.

  82. Star tossed the sword back to Marco and jumped off kales back. Marco noticed what she had...his old mini vacuum the one with her original wand charger in it. Guess its not exactly a wand but it will do. Marco raised the sword into the evening sky and again it glowed, this time Marco was going to try something. Kale was stunned and roaring in pain and anger, Star kept hitting him with magical blasts from a Earth wand. He swiped at her with his claws he missed with the first two swipes but the third connected knocking Star down. But she had enough of being tosed around, she aimed the vacuum at kale who let go with a stream from his dragons breath. At the same time a bkue beam of ice erupted from the vacuum and collided with his fire. Marco held the sword to the sky still watching as both fire and ice met creating steam. A few more seconds is all he needed marco knew, Star kept up her attack but Kales fire was begenning to win, it will have to do.

  84. Marco lowered the sword as it pulsed. He focused on what he wanted to do and got ready to swing.

  86. "KALE!" Marco shouted getting the dragon's attention. His yellow eyes widening as soon as he saw the pulsating sword.
  87.  
  88. Marco wasted no time and swung the sword even though he was not close to kale to make actual contact. A beam of blue energery erupted from the sword in the direction marco had swung it. Kale had tried to fly up but with only one wing he could not suppoort his weight the thin line of energy struck him vertically across his body knocking him into the house. Part of the wall collapsed ontop of him, but he got up still.

  90. Marco looked at Star and who looked back at him.
  91. "Together?" Marco asked her.
  92. "Together" Star replied.
  93.  
  94. It was time to finish this.
  95.  
  96. Marco ran at kale, he tried to his fire again but Marco swung again sending another blast of energy at him which absored the fire and hit im in the face. Star unleashed a beam of energy from the vacuum at kales chest, enough to burn a small hole in scaly hide. Marco stopped his advancement and threw his sword like a javelin at the spot that Star had burned him. The sword lodged itself into Kales chest causing him to roar in fury. Star jumpt into the air with her vacuum and summoned a bolt of lightning from the sky. The bolt struck the sword causing it to glow bright yellow from the heat, smoke began to eminate from kale he could feel his insides getting cooked.

  100. Star let him have it with another bolt of electricity. Marco saw Kale begin to glow bright white he's played enough video games to know whats next. He grabbed Star and used his body to protect her as the sword exploded inside Kale causing a chain reaction with whatever unstable magic he had been using. Kale roared as he was consumed in a bright light. The concussive wave of energy that resulted from the blast hit Star and Marco hard. They just held on to each other tightly and they just didn't feel anything anymore.

  105. When Marco awoke, he was in a hospital gown, in the recovery ward of the Echo Creek hospital. All he could think about is Star.

  107. "Easy son your ok, she's ok" Marco rubbed his eyes and was relieved to find his dad there.

  109. "The house on the other hand has a hole in the front, but then again I guess fighting a dragon on the front lawn will do that" Mr. Diaz chuckled.

  111. "Star, dad where's Star?" Marco asked.
  112.  
  113. " She's in the floor above, woke up a short while before you, told us everything, you mom is with her"

  115. Marco fell back onto the hospital bed, its over its finally over.

  118. "Sorry about the house dad, but who got us to the hospital?"

  121. "Someone called the fire department when they saw smoke, they found you two unconsciess guess some debri's hit your heads and knocked you guys out cold"

  124. Marco laughed. Figures in his neighborood people see a dragon and do nothing they see smoke and call 911"

  127. "I want to see her dad, right now"

  129. Marco's father lead him to Star, his mother was over joyed to see him up and about Marco promised he has no serious injuries and will be fine. Marco approached Star and they hugged, both releieved to be alive and that for better r worse kale is gone for good.

  131. "Lets give these two some space" Mr. Diaz said taking wife out of the room. "We'll be outside if you need us".

  133. Marco held Stars hand, she had a big old bump on her forehead on top of whatever other injuris she got from the fight.

  135. "Team Starco can't be beat" She finally said.

  137. "You got that right" Marco replied.

  139. "Sorry about your sword" Star said stroking Marco's cheek.

  141. "Fuck the sword, as long as your ok thats all I care about"

  143. Star moved to the side of her hospital bed and Marco laid down next to her.

  145. "How's your wing?"
  146.  
  147. "It will grow back eventually, just hurt like hell tho when he first pulled it off"
  148.  
  149. Marco remmebered her scream and sent shivers down his spine. He wrapped his arms gently around her, he can't believe he almost lost her again. Star returned the gesture ut Marco felt something off again.

  151. "Something is bothering you isn't it I can feel it"
  152.  
  153. "There is something I need to tell you, and i'm not sure how to say it" Star whispered as Marco held her.

  155. Marco braced himself for the worst.

  157. "I know you said you don't want me calling you papi in public but someone is going to wether you like it or not" Star said trailing off.

  159. "W-What do you mean?"

  161. "Im pregnant"

  163. Marco's heart began to beat faster again, there was no mistaking what she said.

  165. "They did blood tests on me and stuff, they told me the results line up with pregnancy but not quite but then I remmebred my clinginess lately. I thought it was because of the pheremone thing but it also happens to mewni girls in the early stages of pregnancy and I considred it but I thought it might freak you out and"

  167. Marco kissed her as she talked. He could tell she was about to cry.

  169. "I'm scared I am not going to lie but I would never be angry or upset that...that...I'm going to be a dad" Marco said the words they felt alien to him but somehow it felt right att he same time.

  171. "I'll do whatever you want, go wherever you want as long as we can be a family" Marco concluded. "That baby is going to have the two best parents in any dimension".

  173. "We should tell your parents, right now mine can wait" Star said grabbing onto marco.

  175. "Good thing were in a hospital because my mom is gonna need it" Marco joked.

  177. They both laughed.

  179. Star nuzzled Marco's cheek with her own. "He or she is going to be the only kid in school who's dad has fought a real dragon"

  181. "And a mom who can who has a unicorn for a friend" Marco added. "Other kids are going to be so jealous because their parents are just normal people like doctors and lawyers...boring"

  190. One year has passed since the battle with Kale. They had settled down in the Diaz living room to watch the premiere of a new cartoon. Starfan...err Daron had pitched the idea of cartoon about Star and Marco's adventures to Disney who greenlit it.

  192. "She's not paying you enough for this ya know, its not even on cartoon network" Marco complained as they waited for the show to start.

  194. "She knows what she's doing, granted her original pitch was a little too...adult." Star replied.

  196. "Yeah thats putting it mildly, do you know that me and Tom story has like 20 million likes on facebook now? the fuck is wrong with people today?"

  198. Star laughed, she actually likes that fan fic.

  200. "God forbid Aiden ever reads any of those" Marco said getting worried.

  202. Star looked down at their almost 4 month old son and stroked his chin, Star loved carrying him everywhere.

  204. "I wouldnt worry about you got a few years before he can even read" Star said as she smiled at their son.

  206. The show started and all eyes were on the TV, even Aidens.

  208. "Its gonna get a little wierd its gonna get a little wild I'm not from around here I'm from another dimension"

  210. "Theme song is catchy enough I guess" Star said humming along.

  212. "I give it two seasons tops" Marco mused.

  214. Aiden burped and made a giggling noise.

  216. He says three seasons and a movie.
