MG PSA - Elementals

Mr. Nemo here. Today we are going to talk about Elementals. Now I know that as a collective species we haven't had much in common. Until today that is. Recent developments in R n D have found that Elementals, aside from leveling towns, are actually peaceful if you talk to them. What's even more surprising is that they have an astonishing amount of versatility in the medical field.

Take the Fire Elemental for example. As they have complete mastery of temperature they can make each individual room hotter or colder depending on the needs of a patient. Capable of withstanding extreme cold, they can provide emergency heat to those afflicted with hypothermia. In dire situations their acute motor skills can even cauterize a wound with minimum pain to the victim. For everyday life they can use their heat to disinfect medical equipment as an alternative to cleaning salves, which may provoke an allergic reaction from the patient.

Water Elementals, combined with Earth Elementals, can be an effective combination in treating patients. Say for example a patient has been stung by a jellyfish. The water elemental's abilities to detect impurities can locate the sources and highest concentrations of the venom for identification.

The Earth elemental can then quickly prepare a serum to counteract the toxins with the utmost accuracy in applying the proper preportions and ingredients of the antidote. Their affinity for earth also grants them knowledge of all periodic elements as one would know the alphabet. If there is a disease or poison, chances are that they know a remedy. And if they don't you can bet they will soon enough.

And last but not least Air Elementals. Now of all of the elements, they are not known for their control nor for beimg predictable. Often seen to be either carefree or outwright destructive recent efforts have allowed them to be disciplined enough to be allowed within medical grounds, albeit with much countermeasures in place. Master of air currents they can provide patients with sensitive lungs a constant supply of oxygen which even our most advanced medical instruments cannot compare. Now I know what you're thinking, a more advanced air tank is not much. That'd be true, if there weren't other ways for an Air Elemental to give aid. For burn victims with severely damaged lungs, Air Elementals with Water Elementals can painlessly extract the fluids from the patient's lungs while making sure the patient doesn't suffocate during the procedure.

But an Air Elemental's effectiveness is best seen in the Emergency Rescue Department. Capable of squeezing in areas where most cannot Air Elementals can locate victims and provide a steady stream of oxugen and a comforting voice until help arrives. In fires both in buildings and in forests these jovial folk are able to suck the smoke and oxygen from the flames to extinguish the fires if need be, or simply the smoke allowing anyone still inside needed visibility to be rescued.

Now I know all of this is a little heavy for some of our viewers, so let's finish off with something we all could enjoy every one in a while. There is one form of health I've yet to describe, and that is some good old-fashioned body therapy. Imagine a Fire Elemental heating stones and sore areas to relieve joint pain while an Earth Elemental brews a tasteful dietary drink. A couple of Water elementals assisting in physical rehabilitation through hydrotherapy to strengthen limbs. An Air Elemental ir two aiding in breathing techniques during meditation and anxiety relief training.

Every day that passes by our knowledge of medical science grows that much more. With help from our elemental friends we can all enjoy a healthier, safer future for men and mg's.
