Island of Misfit Toys 1

[20:07]	`GM	The plane shakes as the wheels touch down on the runway; not a small jet by any means, but a landing is a landing either way. The deep aqua of the Pacific Ocean is visible from the windows on either side, so small is the piece of land that hosts the landing strip of this tiny island. For such an expensive private jet, it’s quite empty, and carries only two passengers, plus the pilot.
[20:08]	Doktor_Q	Liu's eyes are glued to the window- along with the rest of her face- as she anxiously scans ground, tail flicking to and fro
[20:09]	Kirin	The man in official navy uniform adjusts his cap. His bad choice for wearing official clothing in this heat.
[20:11]	`GM	The pilot exchanges normal radio chatter from the flight tower as he slows down the plane. There's more than enough runway for a smooth stop.
[20:12]	Kirin	"Finally here."
[20:13]	Kirin	He strikes a chat with his fellow passenger. They haven't speak at all before. Why now?
[20:13]	`GM	Outside, it's a classic island landscape from the south Pacific. More dirt and grass than sand, but plenty of palms. From the sky, the passengers could tell it's quite a small island, and there's not much on it.
[20:15]	Doktor_Q	"Shhhhhhh," she whispers seriously, though it comes out more like "slthhhh," whatwith her face still being smooshed against the glass. She doesn't look over.
[20:16]	Kirin	he sighs a bit, then drop the conversation. Busy admiring the scenery, I see.
[20:17]	`GM	The plane finally halts to a stop, and the staircase swings open to a warm and gusty tropic day.
[20:18]	Kirin	"Nice talking to you."
[20:18]	Kirin	That sentence has a tad flavor of sarcasm.
[20:18]	`GM	"All right, you two misfits; the plane's come to a complete stop," the pilot calls out, head obscured by a full helmet and visor. "Fold yer tray tables back up now, you hear?"
[20:18]	Kirin	though he just pack his thing and get out of the plane. It's cramped in here.
[20:19]	Kirin	"Got it." he answers the pilot in an uncaring tone. procedures.
[20:19]	Doktor_Q	Liu isn't in her seat anymore, bolting for the plane's door before the pilot even finishes his sentence, single bag of possessions slung over her shoulder.
[20:22]	Doktor_Q	She doesn't even look ahead of her, crashing directly into the other passenger, throwing the two of them into a jumbled heap on the plane's floor.
[20:23]	Kirin	"ow ow ow ow... Did I just got hit by a tropic tornado?"
[20:26]	`GM	"Y'allright back there?" the pilot asks concernedly. He turns around in his seat, chuckles a bit, then goes back to fiddling with the plane dials, sighing bemusedly.
[20:26]	Kirin	"We good."
[20:26]	Doktor_Q	"Sorry!" she throws out, trying and failing to untangle their limbs, his face sandwhiched between two very warm, soft masses.
[20:27]	Kirin	He's not an idiot, and he's not a boring flustering man. So instead of fussing like a nerd, he blows his breathe in between those soft masses.
[20:27]	Kirin	'poof.'
[20:31]	Doktor_Q	A hint of scarlet appears on her cheeks as she breaks free, rather to the man's discomfort, and rolls off, sack trailing behind her as she sprints onto the landing strip, head darting left and right, searching for someone.
[20:32]	`GM	A sparse flight crew is there to greet them, sparse in this case meaning two. They mill about outside the plane, vaguely checking it over but for the most part just waiting for it to taxi into the nearby hangar. Of VERY important note is that, while they appear perfectly human, it’s as if they’re moving camera negatives, with every single color of their clothes and skin the opposite of what it should be.
[20:33]	Kirin	"Huh. She's not the talkative type, I see." he takes mental note of the blonde chinese titzilla.
[20:33]	Doktor_Q	Liu spares them a second glance, but that's it. They're not who she's looking for. "Where is he...?" she mumbles, tail twitching again, not unlike a cat's.
[20:34]	`GM	Up ahead lies a military jeep, with another negative-man behind the wheel, staring at the newcomers off the plane. Standing in front of the jeep is quite the official-looking man, in full military regalia.
[20:34]	Kirin	The ensign approaches the most official man in here AKA the one in full official uniform. He take the comment back. It's good that he's in official gears.
[20:37]	`GM	He looks to be mid-to-late thirties, with short sandy-brown hair and a fine mustache. His uniform is FAR more ornate than is proper, complete with medals, epaulettes, and a sheathed saber. Here is a man who knows what he’s about.
[20:38]	Kirin	The ensign salutes.
[20:38]	Doktor_Q	Her tail goes bolt upright, inadvertently flashing the contents of her skirt (white and frilled) at anyone behind her as she finally spots her target, and takes of sprinting toward him.
[20:38]	Kirin	"Ensign Jonathan Moors. Reporting for duty, sir."
[20:39]	`GM	"At ease, Ensign," he responds with a confident voice. "I'm Colonel Samuelson."
[20:39]	`GM	The Colonel raises an eyebrow as the other passenger makes a move.
[20:40]	`GM	His right hand eases towards the hilt of his saber, in case she should try anything funny.
[20:40]	Kirin	He is also in proper uniform, a navy shirt and slacks of dark blue complete with his ornate cap. His black hair shines a bit as it hits the sunlight. He's of average build, yet firm, indicating discipline in his daily lives.
[20:42]	Kirin	"The briefing didn't tell me much, but I suppose it's about extraterrestrial beings." he extends his hand, waiting for a shake. "I suppose you need a good fighter pilot at your disposal."
[20:44]	Doktor_Q	The blonde girl, her hair down to her back, skids to a stop in front of the Colonel, digging her bare heel into the ground. She's unusually tall for an asian girl, even without counting the antlers sprouting from her head. From under the yellow, short-skirted chinese dress she's wearing sprouts a yellow-scaled reptilian tail, swishing back and forth excitedly.
[20:44]	Doktor_Q	"Mr Samuelson~?" She asks, barely-contained excitement in her voice.
[20:46]	`GM	His brow furrows as he returns his arm to his side. "That will be COLONEL Samuelson to you, citizen. Long Liu, I presume?"
[20:47]	Doktor_Q	"Yes!" She cries, suddenly diving for a bear hug.
[20:47]	Kirin	He hits his leg holster, reaching for a G18 out of reflex, only to be reminded that he is unarmed. Blast.
[20:51]	Doktor_Q	Leaving the ground completely, she has her arms around him before he can react, squeezing him hard, face to her bosom- intentionally, this time. Then, gravity seems to realize the situation, toppling the two of them backwards onto the pavement. "I've always wanted to meet your again~!" she cries joyfully.
[20:53]	`GM	The Colenel braces his fall with one leg just in time to prevent a total collapse, grunting from the impact.
[20:54]	Doktor_Q	"It's been so long~" She coos, tail wagging happily.
[20:55]	`GM	His expert military training quickly rolls him out of the grab and back to his feet, leaving Liu on the ground alone as he straightens his coat, looking a little perturbed.
[20:55]	Kirin	"Sir?!" The ensign is not sure if this is an appropriate point to jump in and help or not
[20:55]	`GM	"As you WERE, citizen," he growls.
[20:56]	Kirin	seeing that he has his crew to help him up, Jonah turns to the oversized little girl.
[20:56]	Doktor_Q	"Aww,
[20:56]	Kirin	"Upsy daisy."
[20:56]	Doktor_Q	" she mumbles, without actually looking that disappointed.
[20:58]	Kirin	he extends his hand for her to grab.
[20:58]	`GM	The Colonel is clearly not in the mood to have fun today. The flight crew seems to constantly be in the mood to slack off, as they mill about in the hanger, doing not much.
[21:00]	Doktor_Q	She takes it, smiling and giggling in a slightly unsettling way the entire time. "Thanks~" She gives Jonah a bow.
[21:00]	Kirin	"Wha-oh!"
[21:00]	`GM	"Now then," he continues once the both of them are upright again, "Welcome to Refueling Station 27. You have both read the briefing, I trust?"
[21:00]	Kirin	he bows in kind.
[21:01]	Kirin	"Yessir."
[21:01]	Kirin	He straighten himself out, now that things are getting official.
[21:02]	Doktor_Q	"Yep!" Liu replies, giving an overdone salute, still beaming.
[21:04]	`GM	"Good. Now, this installment has only recently been converted to accommodate civilians. As such the population remains low, but we expect transfers to eventually trickle in over time."
[21:05]	Doktor_Q	"So we're special?" Liu pipes up, looking hopeful.
[21:06]	`GM	Colonel Samuelson stares at her like that's a stupid question, given her... appearance. He doesn't answer and just keeps on trucking.
[21:07]	`GM	"You'll be provided with room and board in exchange for nominal services provided. You will be required to wear a standard-issue uniform as appropriate of your--"
[21:07]	`GM	His walkie-talkie at his side chatters and chirps.
[21:07]	Kirin	'psst.' he signals the drakegirl to pipe down for a second and just stay still.
[21:09]	Doktor_Q	Given how she's rocking back and forth on her feet, and her tail is occasionally hitting Jonah's leg, she's definitely not "staying still." Nor is her chest, for that matter.
[21:09]	Kirin	He sighs a bit. Welp. That's civilian for you.
[21:09]	`GM	"One moment," he excuses, picking up the walkie. "Yes Wallbert?"
[21:10]	`GM	A voice, presumably "Wallbert's", squawks out the other end. <Colonel, you'd better get down here; that pod's starting to act up!>
[21:12]	`GM	"What do you mean acting up, Wallbert?"
[21:12]	`GM	<Just get down here; you told me to call if it did anything, and it's doing something!>
[21:13]	`GM	"Very well. Colonel out." He replaces the walkie and returns to the new arrivals.
[21:14]	`GM	"It appears I am being interrupted. Please get in the jeep; we'll continue this discussion at the appropriate time."
[21:15]	`GM	Colonel Samuelson doesn't wait for them, and gets in the front passenger side of the jeep.
[21:16]	Doktor_Q	Liu nods quickly, going directly from the ground to the backseat with two steps and a leap.
[21:17]	Kirin	he hops in, knowing that he will be left behind if he doesn't jump on the bandwagon.
[21:20]	`GM	The jeep bumps off down a not-so-well-travelled dirt road running between the runway and the ocean coast. They cross a decently-long bridge out to a much smaller island alongside the main one. The defining feature of the micro-island is a giant white dome, indicative of some kind of research center.
[21:21]	Kirin	Ensign Jonah take notes of his surroundings.
[21:21]	Doktor_Q	Liu doesn't look out the window, staring directly at the Colonel the entire time, humming under her breath.
[21:22]	`GM	The driver and the Colonel exit the jeep; the Colonel jogs to the main door of the lab while the driver waits for the pair to exit, so as to escort them in.
[21:23]	Doktor_Q	Liu leaps out of the jeep, hot on his heels.
[21:24]	Kirin	"Sir." he asks as he jumps out. "Are we in a situation that requires lethal force?"
[21:26]	Doktor_Q	Liu's ears perk up at "force"
[21:26]	`GM	The Colonel turns his head to the side as he scans an ID card to open the door. "Ensign Moors, the first thing you should know about this building is you have no idea what is required inside of it."
[21:26]	`GM	"Commit that to memory, soldier."
[21:27]	`GM	He walks inside, adding as an afterthought, "There's a weapons rack to your left if you feel you require arms."
[21:28]	Kirin	he take up on that offer and grab himself a small arms. G18 with extended 30r mags, and an MP7.
[21:29]	Kirin	"At least I have basic infantry training, sir."
[21:29]	Doktor_Q	Liu ignores the silly little tools.
[21:30]	`GM	The four enter into a small lobby room with basic amenities, monitors and the like, blocked off from the main dome by a much larger and more impressive door.
[21:31]	`GM	The Colonel uses a combination of key card, numerical code, and retina scan before the large steel door permits entrance.
[21:31]	`GM	"Good to know, ensign," the colonel remarks as he steps inside.
[21:35]	`GM	The main dome is surprisingly empty, making it feel like an indoor football arena when it’s probably only half that size. A few computer workstations and other technological equipment are set up off to the side, where a single figure is working.
[21:36]	`GM	In a nutshell, the man’s skin seems to have turned into liquid. His skeleton and nerves are plainly visible where his clothes don’t cover them, wreathed in a layer of semitransparent peach-orange goop which ALMOST, but not quite, maintains the same shape as human muscles and skin. His hair seems to have suffered a similar fate, barely distinguishable as a pile of the same goo on top of his head.
[21:37]	Doktor_Q	Liu glances around somewhat disinterestedly, paying the grotesque sight only a passing "huh"
[21:37]	Kirin	Jonah is totally put off by this. Hell, his trigger finger is damn itchy right now.
[21:38]	`GM	The goo man points to the center of the floor. "I told you!" he yells from his seat at the computer.
[21:39]	MysteriousCocoon	lies in the center of the chamber upon an open table, a simple metallic, grey, oval-shaped shell. However...
[21:40]	MysteriousCocoon	Loops and threads of the same material snake across the floor, odd T-1000-esque wires wriggling and extruding themselves across the floor to connect to any available electronics. For some reason, the nearest manned workstation has been left alone.
[21:41]	MysteriousCocoon	The next nearest server rack looks almost as if infested, however, not-quite-liquid silvery metal draping itself across and within the ports and boards that form it. Each tendril squirms ever so slightly, seeking some new electrical connection.
[21:42]	`GM	"Dammit, Wallberg, I told you keep it away from the electronics!" the colonel shouts, jogging over to the researcher.
[21:42]	Doktor_Q	"Is it hostile?" Liu asks, stretching her bare legs as she follows behind him.
[21:42]	`GM	"YOU told me not to touch it, sir!" Wallberg responds, checking readings on some indecipherable program.
[21:43]	`GM	"It only started doing it three minutes ago; what am I supposed to do?!"
[21:44]	Kirin	"Fire on your go, sir." Jonah take aim, lining his reflex sight on the squiggly electro-tendrils.
[21:45]	`GM	"Cease fire, soldier!" the colonel commands, looking quite frustrated as his eyes shift from the pod to the infested server racks.
[21:45]	Doktor_Q	"What is it?" Liu asks, peeking over the man's shoulder.
[21:46]	`GM	Catching a spare moment, Wallberg turns and looks at the new faces. His own face is rather distressing to look at. "Wait, who are THEY?!"
[21:46]	`GM	"Who are you?!" he asks Jonah directly, they points from him to Liu.
[21:47]	MysteriousCocoon	suddenly "speaks up", splicing samples of the researcher's voice together in an alien cacophony.
[21:47]	`GM	"Wallberg, hard shutdown; kill the--"
[21:48]	`GM	The Colonel is abruptly interrupted.
[21:48]	MysteriousCocoon	POWER-drawInsufficient.
[21:48]	Kirin	"Aw damn. You. Drakegirl. Get outta here!"
[21:49]	MysteriousCocoon	uses the Colonel's voice, now.
[21:49]	Kirin	he shoos Lie away from the front, and taking cover behind one of the server rack.
[21:49]	Doktor_Q	"Hm? Why?" Lie asks, tilting her head and cracking her knuckles.
[21:49]	MysteriousCocoon	"Cease hard shutdown;-
[21:49]	MysteriousCocoon	shifts back to the researcher's voice.
[21:49]	MysteriousCocoon	Please.
[21:49]	Kirin	"Because shit does not look good here, that's what!"
[21:50]	`GM	The colonel walks over to Wallberg's station and lowers his voice. "Wallberg, hard shutdown. Kill the power, now."
[21:51]	`GM	"But, it... said, please...?" the researcher responds, not really committing to the words coming out of his mouth.
[21:51]	MysteriousCocoon	reiterates itself repeatedly.
[21:51]	MysteriousCocoon	Please. Please. Please. Please. Please.
[21:51]	Doktor_Q	"I'm not leaving if Colonel Samuelson isn't," Liu replies, folding her arms under her chest.
[21:52]	MysteriousCocoon	iterates a new one, instead using a fully synthetic voice.
[21:53]	MysteriousCocoon	Asylum.
[21:53]	MysteriousCocoon	then returns to using every voice sample at its disposal.
[21:53]	`GM	"Damn it, Wally, that's an ORDER!" the colonel shouts, slamming his hand on the table and not really listening to the strange voice.
[21:53]	Kirin	"Oh boy this is getting creepy."
[21:54]	MysteriousCocoon	POWER-
[21:54]	MysteriousCocoon	pauses almost mid-word.
[21:55]	Doktor_Q	Liu watches the thing with a detached kind of curiosity.
[21:55]	MysteriousCocoon	voices itself again, instead using the fully synthetic voice.
[21:57]	`GM	Grumbling, Samuelson turns to the new arrivals as well as the jeep driver. "Clear the building. The situation is no longer contained."
[21:57]	MysteriousCocoon	emits a long, garbled synthetic tone, then proceeding. Its "voice" is highly stilted, words just recognizable enough.
[21:58]	MysteriousCocoon	One voice- less "creepy"?
[21:58]	MysteriousCocoon	Diplomacy is desired.
[21:58]	Kirin	"That's what it says, sir."
[21:59]	Kirin	for a second he is reminded of old lame "That's what she said!" jokes.
[21:59]	MysteriousCocoon	restates itself.
[22:00]	MysteriousCocoon	"One voice- less 'creepy'? Diplomacy is desired. Yes or no?"
[22:00]	`GM	Wallberg is getting quite interested now; he actually steps out of his chair and inches towards the main pod.
[22:00]	Doktor_Q	"That's what she said," Liu giggles under her breath, at Jonah's comment.
[22:01]	`GM	"Wallberg!" the colonel shouts, folding his arms in front of him but not really making any motion to do anything.
[22:01]	MysteriousCocoon	's voice interestingly enough does /faintly/ sound feminine, although barely so.
[22:02]	`GM	"Yes," Wallberg calls to the pod, utterly ignoring the colonel for his own curiosity. "Diplomacy. Yes."
[22:02]	Kirin	Jonah rolls his eyes.
[22:03]	`GM	The driver of the jeep has obeyed the colonel's original order and left the building. The colonel himself is now backing up and stands next to Jonah.
[22:03]	MysteriousCocoon	"Please provide more power. Power levels near zero percent. Current supply insufficient. Need access to main power."
[22:04]	Doktor_Q	Liu remains where she is, willfully unaware of the situation, instead watching the unknown pod-thing.
[22:04]	MysteriousCocoon	's tendrils begin retracting into the central cocoon, increasing its volume proportionally. Within moments, it touches no electronics.
[22:04]	MysteriousCocoon	"... Goodwill sign."
[22:04]	`GM	Wallberg turns to look at the colonel with his creepy, floating eyeballs, and motions to the pod.
[22:05]	`GM	Samuelson sighs, and looks at Jonah. "Opinion, ensign?"
[22:06]	Kirin	"Do we have a generator it can suck on?"
[22:06]	Kirin	"Let it tapping the main power source would be unwise, sir.
[22:06]	Kirin	but a petroleum-powered generator should be fine."
[22:06]	Doktor_Q	"It's kinda cute," Liu decides, starting to walk towards it.
[22:06]	MysteriousCocoon	speaks up again.
[22:07]	Kirin	His gun is still up the whole time.
[22:07]	`GM	"The laboratory power runs independent of the main island, but that's ancillary to the point."
[22:07]	MysteriousCocoon	"Please, all free power."
[22:07]	`GM	"Opinion on the pod."
[22:07]	MysteriousCocoon	"Demands are high. Time is short."
[22:09]	Kirin	"Let it--- 'her'---- do what she wants."
[22:09]	Kirin	"We have tactical advantage here. Should be alright."
[22:09]	Doktor_Q	Liu walks closer- 12, 8, then a mere 3 meters from the pod surface. "Hello!" She says, giving a small bow, more of a nod than anything.
[22:09]	MysteriousCocoon	responds in kind.
[22:09]	MysteriousCocoon	"Hello."
[22:10]	`GM	"Wrong," the colonel answers sternly. "We have NO tactical advantage, ensign. Because we have no intelligence."
[22:10]	Doktor_Q	She squats down and holds out her hand, palm up, watching the pod expectantly.
[22:11]	`GM	Wallberg observes Liu's actions intently, like the scientist he is.
[22:12]	MysteriousCocoon	The surface of the pod nearest to Liu's hand ripples, then extruding a single tendril to touch her hand.
[22:12]	MysteriousCocoon	"Please, power soon."
[22:12]	Doktor_Q	Liu beams, tail wagging.
[22:12]	Kirin	"Aw hell. We can just blow it to kingdom's come if push come to shove."
[22:13]	Kirin	"I say we do it, sir!"
[22:13]	`GM	"He's got a point there, sir," Wallberg chimes in. "We didn't rig the failsafe for nothing, you know."
[22:15]	Doktor_Q	"Let's keep it!" Liu calls back to the others, well-timed, though unaware of their conversation.
[22:16]	`GM	Shaking his head in defeat, the colonel makes for the main door. "On your own heads be it; I'll maintain the front guard with Jefferies, in the jeep, which is where the majority of you should ALSO be."
[22:17]	MysteriousCocoon	withdraws its tendrils entirely.
[22:17]	MysteriousCocoon	"Thank you."
[22:17]	`GM	"You have twenty minutes; I WILL use the failsafe at that point."
[22:17]	`GM	Colonel Samuelson leaves the younger, more curious cats to play with their new toy.
[22:18]	`GM	Wallberg brings his hands together, making more of a wet slap than an echoing clap.
[22:19]	`GM	"I'll get right on that, then."
[22:20]	Kirin	"I'll stay hear as a vanguard."
[22:20]	Kirin	he chuckles.
[22:20]	Kirin	"That's pretty weird thing to say for a fighter pilot, though."
[22:20]	Doktor_Q	Liu doesn't move from her placement.
[22:20]	Kirin	"I'm like, the last person to choose for a vanguard position."
[22:21]	`GM	Wallberg dashes to behind the main server rack, unscrewing something or other unseen. The blinking lights on the servers wink out as the researcher drags a thick cord out from behind them that looks like a small dryer tube.
[22:24]	`GM	"Here we go," he tells the pod, setting it down on the ground a few meters away. "Main umbilical to the lab generator; you were probably getting too much feedback after the servers got the power first."
[22:25]	`GM	"Good thing we weren't really storing anything on these anyways; main servers' in the house."
[22:26]	MysteriousCocoon	's surface ripples in anticipation, then extruding a tendril to connect to the cord. All remaining lights in the building immediately flicker and dim.
[22:26]	Doktor_Q	"Ooooooh," Liu murmurs in awe.
[22:26]	MysteriousCocoon	"... Power stability increased. Supply is..."
[22:27]	MysteriousCocoon	"Sufficient for now. Thank you."
[22:29]	kirin	"Can't believe I am talking to a cocoon."
[22:29]	Doktor_Q	"Why not?" Liu asks, looking at him like he's dumb.
[22:30]	kirin	He take a glance at a drakegirl. "...never mind."
[22:31]	MysteriousCocoon	"I assume... a humanoid platform is desired."
[22:31]	MysteriousCocoon	"What form aspects are desired?"
[22:31]	kirin	"uh... sexy one?"
[22:31]	Doktor_Q	"It should be cute!" Liu chimes, immediately.
[22:32]	kirin	He just blurt out first thing in his head. It was meant to be a joke, even.
[22:33]	MysteriousCocoon	"'sexy'. 'cute'. Analyzing preprocessed profiles..."
[22:34]	MysteriousCocoon	liquifies, positioning most of its mass over the power conduit.
[22:35]	Doktor_Q	Liu's eyes sparkle as she watches, tail flicking sharply back and forth.
[22:35]	kirin	Jonah is amazed as well.
[22:37]	MysteriousCocoon	Its legs first form "backwards", but soon enough shift themselves forwards to imitate a silvery normal human form. The arms fill in more naturally, starting over-muscular, then adopting a more feminine form. Her head forms last.
[22:40]	MysteriousCocoon	Her jawline looks almost literally as sharp as a knife, filling in the rest with short hair and overly-large blue eyes that appear to be filled with some tiny optics and electronics.
[22:41]	MysteriousCocoon	copies almost precisely a young anime girl, sans color. Anime proportions honestly look offputting in the real world, however.
[22:42]	ObviousAlien	It similarly copies the voice of one.
[22:42]	ObviousAlien	"Is this sufficient?"
[22:43]	ObviousAlien	interestingly enough has formed basic clothes out of itself, as well.
[22:43]	kirin	"Would be better if you go for a Marvel heroines, but this looks fine."
[22:43]	Doktor_Q	"Ooohh~!" Liu claps excitedly. "Perfect!"
[22:44]	ObviousAlien	glances at Jonah.
[22:44]	`GM	Wallberg has been busy scribbling down notes on a clipboard he hastily grabbed once the pod started shifting; there's a REASON he moved to this island, after all!
[22:45]	kirin	"Looks like he's having fun." he nods at the jellydude.

[23:01]	`GM	"Is it? I don't know; I studied Mandarin."
[23:01]	ObviousAlien	"Artificial Intelligence. Ai."
[23:02]	ObviousAlien	seems less ambivalent, this time, and more declarative.
[23:02]	kirin	"Huh. that's easy." He shrugs, lowering his gun. "I like it."
[23:03]	`GM	"Well there you go, dragon-lady," he declares matter-of-factly. "A better name."
[23:03]	`GM	"Simple, easy to remember, makes sense."

[23:04]	Doktor_Q	She growls menacingly at him.
[23:04]	ObviousAlien	wordlessly extends a hand to the dragon girl, staring at her again.
[23:05]	Doktor_Q	"Hm?" Liu glances over, thankfully distracted.
[23:06]	ObviousAlien	extrudes a tendril from her arm to touch her hand, then reabsorbing it. She leaves it for Liu to grab.
[23:09]	Doktor_Q	Liu takes it and smiles. "Shake!" She says this time, grinning.
