Prologue:
-	Flashback to Spearstone’s dream
-	FF flashback to Spearstone poisoning his daughter with a potion that paralyses  and causes intense burning in the lungs
-	Spearstone carries her off to the statue under the pretense that he will cure her of the pain
-	FF flashback to Spearstone sacrificing his daughter in front of the idol by using levitation magic to behead her and collect her blood into a chalice, speaking words of ritual as he commits each stage of the act. (see Blood Sacrifice paste)
-	He feels his power and strength surge as he binds his contract with Bellum with the blood of his daughter
Chapter 1:
-	Rarity is rushing to get herself prepped for the Festival of Clowns
-	She goes out and meets main six, all dressed in jester outfits
-	Set generally cheerful tone as the main six enjoy the festival
-	They are called to meet the Duke
-	The Duke takes interest in Rarity, wants to talk with her alone
-	He tries to manipulate her into following him home but she sees through it
-	Duke becomes more forceful, threatens to take more forceful measures
-	Rarity stands her ground
-	Duke alludes to capturing her and eventually raping her as he bids her farewell
