A month ago, you moved in with Lyra, rent-free! Apart from her odd obsession with humans, she’s an all-around generous and understanding friend. In between her dates with her girlfriend Bonbon, she goes to local anthrocons and gleefully mail-orders human paraphernalia, including the odd dildo.

Then you realized she wants to have sex with you. Then suddenly you and Lyra fell in love. Congratulations! Now you can live your dream life in Ponyville with your pony wife—oh, right, she has a girlfriend. You’re sworn to secrecy; she’s still seeing Bonbon when she isn’t boning you.

Maybe you could put your five-toed foot down and claim Lyra as your own. Lyra clearly still cares about Bonbon, so removing that earth pony from the equation is going to be a mite tricky, especially since you can’t risk breaking Lyra’s trust or hurting her feelings in the process. What if she kicks you out of her house, or worse, breaks it off with you?

It’s the week before Hearth’s Warming Eve—your first in Equestria—and you’re wrapped like a burrito, hot water bag on your head. Yesterday you achieved victory against Pinkie Pie in the snowiest snowball fight ever, summarily rewarded with a debilitating cold.  You also get a kiss on the cheek from Lyra as she leaves you to recover on the couch with a bowl of soup and a rerun of the critically-acclaimed costume drama “Paradise Estate.”

“Get well soon, stud.” Lyra winks at you as she sashays across the living room, ready to leave and spend the entire day in town with Bonbon. In your hands is a checklist of things to do while you’re stuck at home.
