Jameson Taeros is strolling about Ul'Dah streets, looking rather dapper in his usual nobleman's fineries.
Kage Kiryuu walks up to the man he's remembered meeting, with trepidation and desperation on his face.
Jameson Taeros gives a passing glance to Kage with a tip of the feathered hat.
Kage Kiryuu: "I -need- to speak with you, sir."
Jameson Taeros: "Greetings ... uh... Kiryuu was it?"
Kage Kiryuu nods.
Kage Kiryuu: "If you would give me the time, I'd greatly appreciate it."
Jameson Taeros arches a brow at him. "So, the rumors -are- true. You are no longer a lalafell."
Jameson Taeros: "I've heard the snickers and jests from the Blades, but I did not believe it."
Kage Kiryuu: "Aye, sir. It's... I'm still not sure how it happened."
Jameson Taeros shrugs at you.
Jameson Taeros: "I hear all sorts of strange tales of late."
Jameson Taeros: "Well, what can I do for you,  Kiryuu. I hope you are coming to me about some promotion within the Blades. I do not handle that sort of thing."
Kage Kiryuu resists gritting his teeth and replies, "I'm sure I'll add more. I... I want to beg of your help dealing with Natalie Mcbeef and the Flame Sergeant Melkire."
Jameson Taeros arches his brow at him. "Natalie. And.. the Sergeant? What?"
S'imba Tia: "It's not a matter of someone knowing I'm gone..." he said looking to Vash "It's about something I won't have..."
Kage Kiryuu frowns, "It's a little of a private matter, not for the ears of the ordinary Ul'dahn citizen."
Jameson Taeros lets out a long dramatic exhale and shakes his head. He gives him a bland look. "Very well. Let us talk outside the gates then?"
Kage Kiryuu gives a nod of relief. "Yes, please."
Jameson Taeros: "As dusty as it would get my coat." He adds dryly.
Jameson Taeros: "Well, at least there is no rain."
Jameson Taeros crosses his arms.  "Now. What is it."
Kage Kiryuu: "There is no one here but us.... I am begging for your help and protection for Natalie and myself from the likes of Osric Melkire. He wants to see her hang and I don't."
Jameson Taeros arches one brow slowly.
Jameson Taeros: "What has Natalie done now...?"
Kage Kiryuu: "She's got Melkire's attention over her Gharen Wolfson and I'd heard him tell Ser Crofte that he means to see her hang for reform in this city."
Jameson Taeros: "What about Wolfsong? He is a terrorist."
Jameson Taeros: "Why would Melkire care about her apprehending a terrorist?"
Jameson Taeros: "She should be rewarded!"
Jameson Taeros: "He is on the Immortal Flames wanted... oh cursed rain."
Jameson Taeros: "Come, walk with me."
Kage Kiryuu shakes his head, "I'd like to know the same thing, myself."
Kage Kiryuu: "But I've heard him say he wants to hang Natalie to bring about reform in Ul'dah. I won't let it happen and the only way I can think of is to beg of your help."
Jameson Taeros shakes his head. "If that is all that Melkire is chasing Natalie for, she has nothing to worry about. He has no grounds to stand on."
Jameson Taeros narrows his eyes on Kage. "A reform."
Jameson Taeros: "Is there something you are not telling me... Kiryuu?"
Kage Kiryuu: "...Aye." He rubs his face before saying, "You've got 2 Brass Blades dead. Near Nophica's Wells in an underground area."
Jameson Taeros continues to just regard him. "...And..?"
Kage Kiryuu: "And Melkire has participated in freeing Gharen Wolfsong."
Jameson Taeros: "Shouldn't ... -that-... be reported?"
Jameson Taeros: "An Immortal Flame killing Brass Blades and freeing a wanted terrorist?"
Kage Kiryuu shakes his head with a wry smile, "See? This is why I came to you. I don't think of these things."
Jameson Taeros cocks his head slowly. Then he narrows his eyes. "How do you know of this? Certainly he did not just -confess-."
Kage Kiryuu: "I was made an accomplice sir, by Melkire."
Jameson Taeros: "Hmmm. And I suspect... Natalie was there as well?"
Kage Kiryuu stares at him, "Just myself and Sergeant Melkire until I saw his witness Ser Crofte."
Jameson Taeros raises both brows that time. "Ser Crofte. The new Sultansworn that was promoted."
Jameson Taeros: "She an accomplice as well?"
Kage Kiryuu nods, "Aye, the new Sultansworn. She knows of the dead Blades but has not said anything."
Jameson Taeros tsks. "Jenlyns will not be pleased."
Kage Kiryuu nods, "I wish I was not such a disgrace to Ser Jenlyns and his kindness to Natalie and myself."
Jameson Taeros: "Aye." He shakes his head. "Jenlyns is a close friend of mine. I would not want to bring him -more- ill tidings."
Kage Kiryuu: "The Ser Crofte did not actively participate in the freeing of Gharen Wolfsong but she indeed knows of the dead Brass Blades."
Jameson Taeros: "So. Kiryuu. How do you plan to use all this useful knowledge?"
Kage Kiryuu frowns, "I want to make sure that this does not lead Melkire against Natalie but I fear that he has his sights set on seeing her neck in a noose." He shakes his head, "But a report like this may be taint upon Ser Jenlyns that I'd hope to not be the cause of, as I've already caused him."
Kage Kiryuu: "My hope, sir, is that you may have a better plan than what I may foolishly have."
Jameson Taeros: "Well. Perhaps I can settle Jenlyns. Give him a ... heads up. But ... Melkire is Swift's man."
Jameson Taeros: "I unfortunately have no pull within the Immortal Flames. They are... rather on the opposite side of my employers, if you understand."
Jameson Taeros: "Commander Swift however, as is Jenlyns, uphold the law."
Jameson Taeros: "He would not be able to ignore reports of his own man killing Blades. And freeing a wanted terrorist.  On their own wanted list!"
Jameson Taeros: "If as you say, Melkire orchestrated it all, then Crofte would be an accessory. As you would be."
Jameson Taeros: "If these charges were brought to light, you will come under scrutiny. Are you prepared for that?"
Kage Kiryuu: "...I'm much more implicated in it than that as he ordered me to slay the men."
Jameson Taeros raises his brows. "Oh!"
Jameson Taeros: "This Melkire is... much more ruthless than I gave him credit for."
Kage Kiryuu: "I wonder why he has his sights set on Natalie when he would easily have me in the noose."
Jameson Taeros rubs at his chin with his gloved fingers. "Well, Kiryuu. You are one of the Blades now. And once an ex-Sworn. If you were to step up to Swift and bring these charges to light... before Melkire has a chance to strike at Natalie..."
Jameson Taeros: "You may cut him off at the pass."
Jameson Taeros: "Corruption must be rooted out, everywhere. Immortal Flames included."
Kage Kiryuu: "...Aye sir it does."
Jameson Taeros studies him a moment longer.
Jameson Taeros: "Kiryuu. You bring this to light... you know the eyes of scrutiny will not only turn on Melkire, but upon you as well."
Jameson Taeros: "Are you prepared for that?"
Kage Kiryuu: "Aye, for Natalie.." He continues after a tiny, small pause, "and for Ul'dah, I'd do anything and everything."
Kage Kiryuu: "But if i don't bring this to light, Melkire's actions will be unchecked yes?"
Jameson Taeros nods slowly. "Very well then, Kiryuu. I will warn Jenlyns of Crofte's involvement, but... try to keep her name out of it until necessary?"
Kage Kiryuu nods slowly, "For Ser Jenlyns."
Jameson Taeros inhales deeply. "If you say Melkire is hell bent on hanging Natalie, then he certainly needs to be deterred from that course."
Kage Kiryuu: "Aye, I heard it with my own ears that he means to see her hang and for there to be reform in Ul'dah."
Jameson Taeros: "Reform. That is such... a big word."

Jameson Taeros: "Well, lofty ideas from a ruthless man."
Jameson Taeros: "Never was there a combination that could lead to more truoble."
Jameson Taeros: "Well, I wish you luck, Kiryuu. You are about to stir up the hornet's nest that is the Immortal Flames."
Jameson Taeros: "Melkire has been making quite the name for himself of late."
Jameson Taeros: "His allies will not like this. Not one bit."
Kage Kiryuu: "No sir, but he's aiming for Natalie and I can't let that go."
Jameson Taeros: "A noble cause, indeed."
Kage Kiryuu: "Thank you sir, for your help."
Jameson Taeros: "May the Twelve guide you, Kiryuu."
Jameson Taeros salutes you.
Jameson Taeros: "I do not envy your position."
Kage Kiryuu nods to him, giving him his own salute, "Sir."
Jameson Taeros: "Nor the path you are about to walk.  Into the Hornet's Nest."
Kage Kiryuu shakes his head, "Melkire's forced my path."
Jameson Taeros: "Things we do for those we love."
Jameson Taeros: "Mm?"
Kage Kiryuu pauses before saluting him, "Have a pleasant day sir."
You salute Jameson Taeros.
Jameson Taeros: "Good luck."
Kage Kiryuu turns towards the gates, "I believe it's time for me to walk the path into the Hornet's Nest."
Kage Kiryuu: "...Thank you, sir."
Jameson Taeros narrows his eyes as he watches him go. A thoughtful expression.
