- How play game
- General notes:
- Everyone starts with Miia from the tutorial. No, she is not a pre-reg only bonus. Stop telling people that, it's false. Pre-register bonus was 5 rubies.
- Resource regen is 5 every 5 minutes.
- Tension regen is also 5 every 5 minutes. (So from 0 to 100 in 1 hr 40 mins)
- Past level 10, natural resource regen cap is 7000 + ((master lvl - 10) * 500) (THIS IS NOT CORRECT I HAVE NO IDEA)
- Energy cap for maps is: (Need to verify, but pretty certain)
- Level <= 20 - (Level * 6) + 80
- Level > 20 - ((Level - 20) * 4) + 200
- Rarity power tiers from best to worst: SR (Gold) > HR (Silver) > R (Bronze) > N (Blue) > SR(Mero, a shit)
- Girls list with Memorial numbers and types:

- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- お出かけ - Outing
- The main meat of the game. You go around with your girls to various places, get in "fights" with other groups of girls and generally have fun. Rewards are handed out at the end based on your points earned on the map. All maps cost tension.
- You gain points based on a few things, but for most maps to get max rewards all you'll need to do is do every encounter on the map and defeat every girl getting a Perfect Victory, if any girls are left up you'll just get a normal victory and earn less points. Clearing the map (making it to the goal) seems to double your points.
- One of the key parts to the Outings is the Movement Energy in the top right. If it runs out, you're instantly sent back home and don't clear the map. Manage your movement wisely and get as many rewards as you can. When your girls come to an intersection, you can choose which way to go (so no Kantai Collection style compass fuckery thank god).
- The fights themselves are straight forward. They last for up to 3 rounds, each round the girls take turns in attacking from highest speed to lowest speed. However, you as the player can help influence the fight by using your Master Actions. Each battle you can click the button in the bottom middle up to three times (uses left indicated by the pips under the button). Clicking when one of your girls is attacking makes you shout "Do your best!" and from what I can tell causes the girl to deal double damage or perhaps a guaranteed crit (I really can't tell yet). Doing it when the girl is being attacked yells "Don't lose!" and halves incoming damage.
- The game also uses a rock-paper-scissors style type system. The five types are: Cute (Pink), Passion (Orange), Cool (Blue), Pure (Yellow) and Devil (Purple). Their strengths and weaknesses are as follows:
- Cute is strong to Passion, weak to Cool.
- Passion is strong to Cool, weak to Cute.
- Cool is strong to Cute, weak to Passion.
- Pure and Devil are both strong and weak to each other.
- Each girl also has at least one skill that come in one of three wonderfully named flavors. Skill 1, Skill 2 or Skill 3. The slot they take up determines the nature of the skill:
- Skill 1 is offensive skills. They activate when that girl is attacking, and range from hitting multiple times for a lower damage multiplier to hitting multiple girls
- Skill 2 is defensive skills. They activate when that girl is being attacked and either reduce the incoming damage or completely cancel the attack.
- Skill 3 is buff skills. They activate on round start and give stat boosts to affected girls. They can boost speed, attack power or defence power. They will effect in one of three ways too, just that girl, all girls of the same type or just all girls on your team. I believe debuff skills also fall into Skill 3.
- Fight ends when all girls on one side are down, or when 3 rounds pass.
- 曜日 - In the main Outing menu there's a second tab which is the daily Outing tab. It gives you a choice of 3 outings that change depending on the day of the week, giving special rewards but far reduced Master experience. On the list from top to bottom they are listed from highest to lowest level, with higher level maps gives you higher rarity material. The schedule is as follows:
- Monday: Cute type Strengthening Material
- Tuesday: Passion type Strengthening Material
- Wednesday: Cool type Strengthening Material
- Thursday: Devil type Strengthening Material
- Friday: Pure type Strengthening Material
- Saturday + Sunday: Affection creams
- Note: There is a speed up toggle under the Movement Energy bar. Clicking it makes the map movement go faster BUT your girls will autopilot towards the end and you will not get to choose which way to go at turns! Use it wisely.
- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- モン娘 - MonMusume
- This is the screen where you check the status of your girls, pick which girls go in your groups and strengthen them. Straight forward business, really.
- 編成 - First tab is group composition. You can have up to 5 girls in a group. Clicking 変更 brings up the list of girls to choose from, scroll through and get who you want in, the list can be sorted by various factors that you can work out by testing this shit on your own. When you've found the girl you want, select them then hit the orange button at the bottom although I'm really not sure why I'm even explaining this it's so straight forward even if you can't read moon.
- 住人 - Yeah, this is seriously just a big list of all your girls. Worth noting the 詳細 button on all these pages just brings up more details on the girl in question.
- 合成 - Composition/Synthesis/Strengthening, whatever you wanna call this shit. Pick a girl you want to level up, feed other girls to her. She will fly up into the sky and begin to eat their souls. Or you can, y'know, just skip the scene because it takes so fucking long jesus christ. Put the base girl on the left, fodder girls on the right. You gain an extra 50% experience by using fodder girls that are the same type as your base girl. It costs resources of the same type that you would normally feed to the base girl and increases with level.
- If you feed girls that have a skill of the same slot number, they base girl will gain experience for that skill.
- I'll take this moment to talk about some special kind of girls you'll get throughout the game. They are fodder only girls, ルドル (Rudoru, a dog girl/kobold) and リアド (Riado, a Dryad). They can't be placed into a normal party but they do special things when fed to one of your girls.
- Firstly, Rudoru. She gives a fuck ton of experience when used in Strengthening, the amount of which is determined by her rarity level and her type. Here's the list for her:
- Exp (Same Type)
- N - 1,000 (1,500)
- R - 3,000 (4,500)
- HR - 5,000 (7,500)
- SR - 10,000 (15,000)
- For Riado, next to her name in brackets is スキル and then a number from 1-3. That number indicates which skill that Riado will enhance when you feed it to a girl. You can only feed a Riado to a girl that has a corresponding skill. Increasing skill levels does not increase the potency of skills but their proc rate.
- Exp (no same type bonus)
- N - 500
- R - 1,000
- HR - 2,500
- SR - ???
- >限界突破 - Limit breakthrough. A sub tab of strengthening, this allows you to increase the level cap of your girls. Each girl may perform it up to three times, increasing the level cap by 10 each for a total of 30. When performing this, you need another copy of the girl you want to increase the cap of, meaning you need 4 of each girl total to reach max level.
- The level caps for girls is as follows:
- Rarity - Base Cap (Max Cap)
- N - 20 (50)
- R - 30 (60)
- HR - 40 (70)
- SR - 50 (80)
- There is a special kind of material girl called エルダー (Elder) who may be used as a substitute for a copy of any girl whose rarity she matches when Limit Breaking. For example, with an HR version of Elder you can use her with HR girls, but not SR girls and also not R girls.
- 転居依頼 - Change of residence request. Don't like a girl and don't have the resources to feed them to another girl for experience? Use this! You get a crappy amount of resources in return for it. Pretty worthless to me.
- If you really want to know, the resources you get are based off what they eat. Ns give you 5 each, Rs 10, HRs 20 and SRs 30.
- -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- 食事 - Food. Feed your girls. They only need to be fed once they've gone on an Outing, make sure to feed them every time they come back. Select the girl(s) you want to feed then hit the orange button at the bottom right. You can also use the button above that to select all the girls, but you want to feed them individually to complete the requests faster.
- Different girls need different resources and in different amounts. Carnivores eat meat, herbivores eat veggies and omnivores eat bread.
- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- お使い - Errand/Shopping. Send your groups of girls out to get resources. Only groups other than group 1 can be sent, and each errand can have only one group on it at a time. The rewards are a little misleading at first if you can't read moon, the number listed there is actually for EACH girl. So never send groups that aren't full out.
- Here's a list of the total resources and resources per hour of each shopping trip:
- Resource total (per hour):
- 10 min - Individual: 180 (1080), All 3: 180 (1080)
- 30 min - Individual: 320 (640), All 3: 300 (600)
- 1 hr - Individual: 450 (450), All 3: 390 (390)
- 3 hr - Individual: 570 (190), All 3: 510 (170)
- 8 hr - Individual: 670 (83.75), All 3: 600 (75)
- When your Master level reaches level 20, you unlock a new set of errands. These ones require either your girls to ALL be level 20 or over for the individual resource trips, or the leader to be level 20 for the All 3 trips. Here's the total and Resources per hour for them:
- Resource total (per hour):
- 10 minute - Individual: 430 (2580), All 3: 390 (2340)
- 30 minute - Individual: 770 (1540), All 3: 660 (1320)
- 1 hr - Individual: 1090 (1090), All 3: 960 (960)
- 3 hr - Individual: 1375 (458.3), All 3: 1200 (400)
- 8 hr - Individual: 1610 (201.25), All 3: 1380 (172.5)
- So when you're actively playing, the 10 minute ones are your best bet. Bearing in mind also that for anything other than the 10 minute tier, the all 3 trip is less efficient than an individual resource trip.
- Errands cost Tension, so swap out your girls when you need to.
- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- お世話 - Assistance/Affection. Touch girls, receive affection. An interesting mechanic that gives both plot and stat boosts.
- This uses special items called affection creams, that come from both requests and from the Sat/Sun Daily Outing maps. The items come in three tiers: Care cream (Bronze), Ultra Care Cream (Silver), Special Care Cream (Gold). The first two only come from quests and maps, but the last can be bought in the ruby shop too.
- Select a girl as will strengthening, select a girl and then hit the orange button. You'll go into a screen with a special CG of that girl. Three things of note first up, top right button takes you out of the screen. Bottom left is the affection meter, when the circle around the outside fills you gain 1% affection. Bottom right is the item selector. Better items = more gain on clicks. I recommend you use items one at a time for faster quest completion.
- Max affection is 100% if you have brain problems and couldn't figure this out, however when girls are level 29 or below, Affection is capped at 49%. Level the girl past 30 in order to raise her affection further.
- When you've selected an item to use you will have 10 clicks with which to raise points with your girl. There are three kinds of outcomes you can get when you click:
- Good Touch - 1-4 hearts appear and you get some points. The more hearts that appear, the closer you are to the Great Touch area.
- Great Touch - A shit ton of hearts appear and the girl will say something. Best possible outcome.
- Bad Touch - You're a moron and grabbed her tits now she's pissed at you. Think about what you have done.
- What you're trying to do is find the Great Touch area each time, using how many hearts as a guide to see how close you are. The Great Touch area will change every time so have fun with this mini game.
- There are two reasons to do this as I mentioned earlier. The first is the Drama Scenes. These happen at fixed affection levels for each girl, and change from girl to girl. You get a little scene where your girl is cute as a button for a while. These are going to be near meaningless if you don't know moon, but still cute as fuck. Can be rewatched any time from the library.
- Second reason is a stat boost. The amount you gain is determined by both the girl and by the affection level. These boosts are a flat amount based on affection level, and not a percentage based boost. You can view how much stats your girl is receiving from Affection at any time from the Affection screen.
- Be sure to raise the affection of any girl you're going to use a lot in outings!
- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- リフレッシュ - Refresh Room. Lock your girls down in a pool room for 6 hours to let them relax (because you've been working them like a dog, obviously). Significantly slower than natural regen rate, however not to be ignored. After the 6 hours the girls will be in the High Tension state, pushing them past the Tension cap to 200. Which above 200 the girls can't regen any more tension until they go back below 100 again (obviously).
- Put girls in here when you're going to bed or work and use that extra tension when you get back to the game.
- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- お願い - Requests. Basically, quests. Unlike Kantai Collection and like Touken Ranbu, you automatically accept every quest so no need to keep track of which ones you're on. They come in two flavors, Once quests and Daily quests.
- ワンス - Once quests are straight forward. Do the thing once, get rewards. The first few you'll see from Suu is the ones to raise a girl to specific affection levels (25%, 50%, 75% and 100%). Next will be one to complete a new Outing map. After that are a series of quests for doing various things such as: Clear outings, Feed girls, Strengthen girls, Clear errands and Raise affection. They come in 5/10/20/40/60/80/100/200/300/500/700/1000 brackets and give increasing rewards as you go higher. Worth noting your progress carries over, so when you finish the feed girls 80 times request you will find yourself at 80/100 for the next tier.
- デイリー - Daily quests straight forward too. They reset every day at 12am JST (so the time on the clock in the bottom left). The quests themselves are as follows:
- Objective - Special reward
- Clear 5 outings - N Rarity Skill Material (Different skill level each day)
- Use your aid power in combat 3 times - 3x N Gacha tickets
- Send two groups out on shopping - 2x N Gacha tickets
- Feed your girls 10 times - 3x Normal Affection Cream
- Strengthen girls 3 times - 2x N gacha Tickets
- Raise affection 4 times - R rarity Strengthen material (Different type each day)
- クリア済み - The third tab you see just has all the quests that are cleared and waiting for you to collect the rewards (so you don't have to dig through the other tabs to find them). Click on the cleared quest to get your shit.
- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- ガチャ - Gacha. How you get new girls! Or ones that aren't just fodder at any rate. There are three kinds of Gacha, each with a different cost.
- プレミアムガチャ - Premium Gacha. Costs 5 rubies a pull, guaranteed chance of at least R. You can also spend 50 rubies for a 10+1 pull, with one HR girl guaranteed. The best way to get strong girls and hate your wallet.
- チケットガチャ - Ticket Gachas. use tickets to get girls. 1 ticket = 1 pull. Multiple flavors:
- Normal Ticket Gacha - Uses normal tickets, gives you mostly N girls. Good way to get extra girls for Errands and material girls. Confirmed HR possible from N Ticket Gacha.
- Rare Ticket Gacha - Uses rare tickets which are significantly harder to come by. Pretty sure guaranteed R minimum?
- Medium Ticket Gacha - Uses Medium Tickets, which seem to be given out by the 300 tier requests. Confirmed possibility of SR girls.
- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- ショップ - The shop. Buy shit with rubies including resources, affection cream and stat/exp boosts. Here's the list in the order they appear:
- 1st tab, 1st page
- Veggies x 2500 for 2 Rubies // Meat x 2500 for 2 Rubies // Bread x 2500 for 2 rubies
- All Resources x 2500 for 5 rubies // Special Care Cream (Best kind) x 10 for 5 Rubies // Master experience 20% up 2 days for 3 rubies
- 2nd page
- Master Experience up 20% 14 days for 8 rubies // All Girls Mon Power (strength) up 20% 2 days for 2 rubies // All Girls Mon Power (Strength) up 20% 14 days for 5 rubies
- All Girls Mon Power (Defence) up 20% 2 days for 2 rubies // All Girls Mon Power (Defence) up 20% 14 days for 5 rubies // Booster Pack (all 3 boosts) 20% 14 days for 15 rubies
- Page 3
- Extra Group (up to a max of 5 groups) for 7 rubies
- Tab 2
- Extra room for girls (+5, max of 500) for 1 ruby // Extra Refresh Room (max of 4) for 10 rubies
- Of all of these, I highly recommend the Extra Group and Extra Refresh rooms, it's super nice to have them.
- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- ルビー - Rubies. The cash items of the game. You do get them throughout the game, but slowly. So why not hate money and speed that shit up! Those 10+1 pulls aren't just gonna happen!
- So in order to buy rubies, you need DMM points. 1 DMM point = ¥1. So when you buy them, you're getting fucked by your exchange rate too. But it's worth it. Now rather than me write out a guide on how to give DMM your cash, I'm just going to use the Kantai Collection wiki's guide since shit works too: http://kancolle.wikia.com/wiki/Shop/Purchasing (I'll give you a hint, go for the ¥10,000~)
- Now that you have your DMM points and it still hasn't quite set in yet that you've just spent over $100 on virtual points that have no actual value, it's time to get your rubies! They can be purchased in 6 different packs, more expensive packs giving you better deals:
- 1 x Ruby = 100 DMM points (100 per Ruby)
- 5 x Ruby = 500 DMM points (100 per ruby)
- 11 x Ruby = 1,000 DMM points (90.9 per ruby)
- 35 x Ruby = 3,000 DMM points (85.7 per ruby)
- 63 x Ruby = 5,000 DMM points (79.4 per ruby)
- 132 x Ruby = 10,000 DMM points (75.7 per ruby)
- And now that you've got your 132 rubies, go do two 10+1 rolls and buy out the rest of those extra Groups and Refresh Rooms. And try not to think about what you've just done, it's better that way.
- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- This is it. This is the end. If you're still having problems, you can either ask in the thread or just try not being so terrible at video games because this shit is pretty simple.
