*A dark room dimly lit by a small light in the corner*

“I’ve been waiting for this my whole life.” a black figure moves as his legs swing over and he begins to sit up on the bed. he reaches over to table and takes a blood red headband off. Suddenly a bright light swarms the room as soldier opens them and looks directly into Maiz’s eyes “The King calls for you presence.” he said in a voice that was nervous but urgent.

Maiz’s slides his red and green armor over his head and onto his torso before looking at the soldier and replying “Dismissed.” he said as the soldier made his way down the hall in a hurry. Maiz quickly did the same not wanting to keep his father waiting.

Maiz down the hall turns to the right to even bigger door the emblem on it that was painted red and gold. He pushes the door open hesitantly but makes his way in. “*cough**cough*” A very muscular man looking pale lays in a king sized bed turns his head towards Maiz “I bet you wished this sickness upon me.” he said sneering at his Maiz “I want to rule, but only you’d be that cruel.” he said sneering right back at his father, the King of Vegeta.

“Hmph, I did nothing but make you a warrior.” he said turning his head away from Maiz “*cough**cough*” he looked down at his hand which had a bit of blood on it “I’m the strongest warrior, and don’t die already.” he said as a smirk spread across his face “I wouldn’t want you to miss the crowning.” his father let out a slight chuckle “I’d never thought you’d live to see the day.*cough**cough*” Maiz made his way out the room not replying to his father's ignorant comment.

Maiz went a up a 10 flights of golden stairs in a hurry before being met coming to face to face with the same emblem painted on emblem on even bigger doors then his father’s. “I am ready to lead.” he said before taking a breathe and smirking before pushing the doors wide open revealing a crowd of Saiyans and other races cheering. An old man stood by his side and suddenly loudly proclaimed “TODAY IS THE DAY! VEGETA USHERS IN A NEW RULE!” the crowd burst in even louder cheering “Maiz.” he said turning to the young prince turning over and taking a crown off a pillow “I hereby declare-” he was stopped short as a beam quickly went through the old man's chest.

“What!?” Maiz said as he looked in the direction of where the beam came from, above, there was a green alien with horns flying there with a crooked smile looking at Maiz “We declare this planet as ours!” it said a screeching voice as thousands of space pods came crashing down into the crowd more aliens looking almost the same began to beaming and killing Saiyans and other races alike “Unreal..” Maiz said as he looked at the crown that had fallen out of the man’s hands.

“I have to..” he said as he grabbed it with both hands and sat atop his head “I AM THE SAIYAN KING! KILL THEM ALL!” he shouted with a voice that echoed above the destruction suddenly the surprise element didn’t seem to matter anymore as the people fought back with all their heart realizing they were under a new rule Maiz quickly flew from the ledge “I SHALL USHER IN A NEW AGE! A SAIYAN AGE, AN AGE FOR VEGETA!” he said he grabbed the alien that killed the old man by the neck and squeezed it so hard it broke “You shall never rule my planet.” he said as he dropped it. He quickly joined the flurry of combat and began to slaughter the aliens one by one. Their number dropped fast as the people of Vegeta began to kill them all off. There we about 50 of them left “Leave these to me.” he shouted in a calm voice as he people backed down. “THERE A MORE OF US!” the aliens stated as they quickly flew towards the new King.

“Not anymore.” he said as cocky grin appeared upon his face he held out a hand and charged a beam using all his power “TAKE THIS!” he said as he began to let a laugh that could be heard all the way down to where his people are. Suddenly he let out a beam of massive size annihilating all 50 of the aliens. He quickly down back to the ledge and looked at all his people whom were silence “Under my rule.” he said in a voice that could be heard but wasn’t a yell “WE SHALL OVERCOME THE ANY CHALLENGE, WE SHALL...” he paused for dramatic effect “CONQUER!!” the crowd once again went into a cheer under the new rule of King Maiz
