  6. +Je Suis Ce Que Je Suis __ Any kind of sudden and dangerous change in weather or road conditions is always going to be a potentially catastrophic problem for so-called self-driving cars (when it wouldn't be the case for "conventionally driven" cars).
  7.
  8. But that's okay. No doubt we will be able to press a "panic button" whenever we feel something isn't right/safe and get a human "pilot" to take over the car and guide us out of harm's way. (Or drive us into harms way if we're a dissident.)
  9.
  10. That's the only practical solution for those situations that can't be programmed and handled automatically. People will embrace it. Just as they will embrace "geo-fencing" to prohibit them from entering certain locations with their "liberating" self-driving cars. (The car simply won't go where you tell it to go if for you it's a "restricted area".)
  11.
  12. Perhaps - by stealth - all those car and plane simulator games have (or will have) training value, but it's not as though we weren't given hints: in the movie _"The Last Starfighter"_ there was an arcade game which served as a way to identify/recruit potential pilots.
  13.
  14. Eventually people will embrace the same principle of letting others "take over" in their homes. Should "Google Home" malfunction and the person forgets how to boil an egg a "human helper" can step in. But the helper will need access to the house and have eyes on everything.
  15.
  16. Which means your house is all hooked up to the "algorithm". But don't let the thought of "Big Brother" peering in put you off. If police were to randomly enter people's houses and poke around there would be outrage and protests. But when done via technology, _it's embraced._
  17.
  18. Many years ago, when Windows started installing a "Human Interface Driver" my social engineering and conspiracy alarm bells went off. Why is it specifying "human"? Is there some other species that is going to be using computers alongside humans?!
  19.
  20. I don't know what the future holds, but I do know that humanity is in a long-term breeding programme and it has been "game over" for quite some time.
