- Essati, Mother of Invention
- Essati is the patron goddess of Valveria and a deity of artifice and imagination. Her ideology is that creation is the driving force behind intelligent life and that mortals' fleeting lives are only fully realised when their uniquely individual minds are put to the task of creating and improving upon designs. The exact use of an invention generally bares little significance to Essati as long as it does not stifle the collective creativity of mortals - an amusing gadget is just as important in her eyes as a masterfully crafted weapon as long as the same level of skill and passion is poured into it. While Essati stresses the importance of developing one's own imagination and talent, she occasionally will grant an impassioned mortal with the idea or knowledge to create something of her own design. This is done under the pretence of giving mortals as a whole new opportunity to develop and flourish by stemming from the divinely inspired invention.
