  1. The Fluctuating Light - Yeeeeeees. Unbounded indulgence, grandeur, majesty, GOVERNANCE in a way very few songs can or dare express - reminds me of The Merciless Savior in that regard. The build is sublime and when the background vocals kick in by the 4 minute mark it's the absolute top of the world. It is this song's birthright to rule my headspace. Human beings were drawn to this light, indeed.
  2.
  3. Hocus Pocus - The sweetest song. Technically superb with the storybook contrasting the lyrics, the way Miku's tuning is used for the child voice, the pauses for effect...but really, it's the sweetest song. Even when the magic wears off, it'll be alright~
  4.
  5. Lost Destination - Sprawling gothica. It's kind of a like a overgrown vine that is everywhere except the vine is excellent music that nails the genre on technical merits perfectly. I can't pay attention to it in full but having it wash over me is a great feeling.
  6.
  7. Crescent Moon - Oriental power ballad that hits all of Kaito's strengths with pleasing imagery. Again not really something I have to pay active attention to.
  8.
  9. Phantom Thief F's Scenario ~Mystery of the Missing Diamond~ - Yamashizuku musical skit placing high, oh really?
  10.
  11. Sincerity Nature: Drastic Measures of Ignorance - Addictive indulgence seems to be a theme at the top of the list. (ara ara ara ara) Two corrupt humans just need their fun~
  12.
  13. Amore - More indulgence! More! Hits a lot of the same points as Blackjack, beep boops and guitar contrast the jazzy instruments well.
  14.
  15. Remote Control - Drastic measures of indulgence just keep on comin'. Perhaps literally. I like this a little less than the more driven, focused, clear and animated PDF version. The...indulgent durdling is growing on me though.
  16.
  17. Sweet Shackles - Yan, yan ya yan yan yan. It's not Splatter Party but it'll do, hits all the gothica mainstays, there's even the thunder and rain right on schedule. Indulgence.
  18.
  19. 10. Witch Hunt - Ah, this. It's really close to really good. The instrumental goes for an ultradramatic, worldchanging feel and it has a good plot to lend weight to but the near-talkloid quality of the voices sabotages it. Eh.
  20.
  21. Death Should Not Have Taken Thee! - Fun Kagamination stuff. Not a great song but Jesus's beeppop does a good job of carrying the skit.
  22.
  23. Jabberwocky Jabberwocka - Turn up, turn up, yeah! This being this high is probably nonsense but I'll just roll with it.
  24.
  25. Blackjack - Trill's good, but everything else sounds way lower quality and muffled. Also no noscope card toss! Only so far this can fall, of course.
  26.
  27. Cyber Thunder Cider - Stick dude's groovin' it, I can feel it, sure. Loses steam at points.
  28.
  29. Domino Toppling - scop's gonna scop. Not quite as visceral or delightfully twisted as Pinky Swear.
  30.
  31. Night Tales Deceive - Nice drive and imagery. I feel like this would gain something from knowing the lore better?
  32.
  33. *********************** chill zone ************************
  34.
  35. This Fucked-Up Wonderful World Exists For Me - Oh yeah this is totally torowaifu. It's okay to be kind of a fuckup here and for second halves to actually be third thirds, just chill out and go ya ya ya yai yai yaa
  36.
  37. ***********************************************************
  38.
  39. Violet - scop's gonna scop, part 2. This one is kind of incomprehensible though.
  40.
  41. Mozaik Role - One of the Deco*27's better instrumentals, but the Gumi vocals lose me. Wonder if there's a good cover for this.
  42.
  43. 20. Twee Box Puppet Show - I choose to take this a commentary on unnecessary violence and death and twists to make things more "mature". As such, it's really funny! Catchy too.
  44.
  45. An Idiot's Drug - Wow, this is oppressive and an entirely too accurate depiction of alcoholism. Doesn't go to excesses as these dark songs tend to be compelled to do. Terrible sound quality hurts listenability.
  46.
  47. The Tailor Shop on Enbizaka - The song is an extended storytelling device and drones on for minutes on end drawing out the most unsubtle twist in history and then you get the line about a family of four at the end and ohhh that's kind of clever I think. I like the technique of masking the actual plot in the blatantly foreshadowed one but it definitely risks the person tuning out by that point.
  48.
  49. Hop! Step! Instant Death! A Happiness Dance Death-Trap - It's "Utata-P". Except this time without any fun social commentary and just random splatter? Eh. Dilutes the message of the rest of the series with it really. The part with words just being breathed into the mic is super fun and earwormy.
  50.
  51. 8 HIT - Jesus-P on a slow day. Still pretty cute.
  52.
  53. weekender girl - mikupop, pop, pop
  54.
  55. Baka wa Anomaly ni Akogareru - Celebrity/fame worship! *infinite light to the normals* Music's more screamo-y than I'm usually comfy with but it's good for what it is.
  56.
  57. Chiri Chiri Juusou - Chanting and Windows screensavers from 1997. Okay? Does hit the otherworldly ritual feel.
  58.
  59. Ripen, Fruitless Flower - It's a nice folksy song that I would rank higher on music if I had no idea what it was about. The content makes me uneasily tingly and twitchy though, familial expectation and guilt etc. etc.
  60.
  61. Sect - I recognize the artistry in this, it just elicits no emotional response whatsoever. Like a piece of alien fine art. I guess I don't get it.
  62.
  63. 30. Perfectionist Complex - No Logic lite. Pleasant enough.
  64.
  65. A Realistic Logical Ideologist - Covering all your bases with that ideology, huh? It's pretty good, forgettable.
  66.
  67. No Thank You - Fairly catchy skit, some sprinkled robovoice.
  68.
  69. Chemical Emotion - pop, pop, poor sound quality
  70.
  71. Valkyria - In the grand tradition of Luka Norse Name pseudometal that just ends up disappointing with the bland sound and mushy vocals. I feel like this would hit me with some tweaks though.
  72.
  73. m/es - Pinocchio-P releases the world's most confusing exercise video. Ok then. Finds a nice groove at the end but has some annoying parts before that.
  74.
  75. The Dark Lord's Like a Fawning Girl - Nothing much to the music. Skit's reasonably amusing.
  76.
  77. Humanity Five Minutes Before the Hypothesis - Well now, isn't this heavy-handed? I enjoy the piano work. 200kph vocals not so much.
  78.
  79. 1, 2 Fanclub - Exists, is sort of catchy. Stalled for several hours on this part of the writeups so going to quit on trying to find more to say.
  80.
  81. Glorious World - Exists, is vaguely pleasant? Metaphors 'n stuff.
  82.
  83. 40. The Spiriting Away at Rainbow Apartments - Emiya Shirou fell into the hell at age 5 and never got up. It's a story song that doesn't resonate with me.
  84.
  85. Hyperventilation Dance - A high personal appeal song that has very little for me.
  86.
  87. And then you became the moon - Goodness, they'll let just anyone be the moon these days. The form of the lyrics being that of the unstructured speech of a child is neat but also causes this to feel longer than it is.
  88.
  89. Faith in God⇒Exclamation! - I see what this is going for but it loses me. Music exists.
  90.
  91. Poster Girl's Prank - The way it twists the call and response of the first part in the second is cool and there's commentary on idol culture but largely I just don't want to experience this again.
  92.
  93. God's An Energy Cheapskate - Nothing much to the music. Skit has its moments but is mostly a brand of cynicism that is not to my taste.
  94.
  95. The World's Lifespan and the Last Day - Message Song. Exists. Unpleasant vocals.
  96.
  97. Invisible - Incomprehensible 200kph song.
  98.
  99. The Heap Princess and Apostrophe - Yeah, the thing we talked about at Twee Puppet Box Show? Here's a prime offender. And it goes on and on, begging for sympathy. Funnily enough this is the same artist, which probably means my read was not intended. Well, since unnecessary deaths are the game here I invoke the death of the author on that.
  100.
  101. Aria on the Game Center - She loves video games and will be your waifu but is not so good at them that she'll hurt your precious man pride and shoot head with gun
  102.
  103. I Wish They'd Just Die - {Hol 'Butt King' Funtimes voice} uhh no
