- Mitama: Kanna. Do you feel unwell? All I am hearing lately is how you won't train or go outside and are just staying indoors...
- Kanna: Yeah...lately I've been feeling sleepy so I had no choice...whenever there was time to spare I've been sleeping...
- Mitama: Eh?
- Kanna: Mum, let's leave the enemies alone and go home.
- I would love to sleep
- Oh how I would love to sleep
- I would love to sleep
- Mitama: ......A nice haiku with a nice theme too...it seems you take after me. In that case I am happy but...you ended up being idle like me...Ah that's it. I hit upon a good idea. Kanna, you are interested in haikus aren't you?
- Kanna: Yeah, actually sometimes I compose them like mum...There's times when I want to express my feelings and it feels good making a haiku for that.
- Mitama: Is that so? Well then, you must feel like you want to compose a really great haiku some day don't you?
- Kanna: Of course I do.
- Mitama: If that is true then you cannot just keep staying inside. If you go outside you will be able to compose a great haiku.
- Kanna: Eh, really?
- Mitama: Yes. If a veteran like me says so then there can't be no mistake...because this is something that Kamui-san taught me in the past. I always stayed indoors but he used haikus as a pretext and took me outside. And then, what would you know? Truly beautiful haikus kept occurring to me one after another.
- Kanna: Really? That's amazing. So that kind of thing can happen huh...
- Mitama: And thus, how about this? For the sake of composing haikus you will take a small trip outside with me next time. Using the vivid natural scenery to make haikus will make you appreciate its splendour...and you won't be able to think about sleeping.
- Kanna: I understand. It sounds fun so I wanna give it a shot.
- Mitama: Phew, I am glad...it seems we are heading the right way...
- Kanna: But until then, is it all right to sleep?
- Mitama: Th-the bandits are attacking so that's a no.
- Kanna: Got it...then I'll do my best to defeat the bandits...but after that it'll be fine to sleep right?
- Mitama: Well, it should be fine if it is afterwards. You can go on and sleep soundly on my lap. Occasionally I also want to do something motherly for you.
- Kanna: Eh, a lap pillow? I want to try that, I want to!
- Mitama: Understood. Let us go then.
- I would love to sleep
- Oh I would love to sleep but,
- there is no time to
- ...For the first time I feel I can understand the trouble my parents went through. Being a parent is tough isn't it...But it is worthwhile and enjoyable.
