This is a message to all those opposed to the movement known as Hacktivist and who feel that an attack on a beloved site, service, or person is unnecessary and unwarranted.

Open your eyes. Stop looking at the surface of things; for they are seldom what they appear to be.

Open your eyes. You are all being used. Used by the same government that is supposed to protect you. The obsession with social networking sites as well as others; are what the government is counting on to rob you of your freedoms.

Open your eyes. The government is sitting back and laughing at your outrage. Mocking your stupidity for choosing to be sheep. Allowing someone to make decisions for you; or following a decision made by another, makes you a sheep. A sheep that will follow the lamb to the slaughter. A sheep that has put their lives in the hands of a shepherd.

Open your eyes. Who is that shepherd you have pledged your allegiance to? What does that shepherd have to gain from your support? How crippled would you be if that shepherd turned on you, and led the flock to a wolf pack?

Open your eyes. By complaining, criticizing and doubting those who have acted on your behalf; you are aligning yourselves with those who seek to harm you. As you are sitting there reading this, you might be thinking "I am not connected to this at all and this does not effect me". Currently, you maybe right. But when it inevitably does effect you, who will speak for you? Even if a current law does not affect you, it is affecting someone. Support should be given to those who are being wronged.
