  1. [19:44:14] Jackson Kinsella: He leans forward. "Well, do you ever wear stockings and opera gloves? Um...what other acts do you do? When did you first find out you were like this? Umm, whats it like to enjoy pain, that seems like...pain seems the opposite of enjoyment." He asks, his nervousness slowly being replaced with fascination.
  2. [19:46:09] Jackie Valentine: "Maybe a server?" She offers.. then she shrugs her coat off onto a chair, rolling her shoulders. The sleeveless black tee does nothing to cover her bared arms - which are literally more scar than skin. Fae eyes can see twinkling bits of bloodied metal and red-stained crystal and glass glittering in the deeper ones.
  3. [19:48:22] Red Sariel: "There are always other places to work too," Sariel said dryly. "Beirut is always willing to hire people here if you want to take a shift and can make a decent cup of coffee."
  4. [19:49:27] Red Sariel: has left the room ...
  5. [19:49:53] Tabitha Underwood: "I'm not very good with people. The whole fake smile, 'Good evening sir, how are you doing?' routine doesn't.. come naturally to me." She cleared her throat and then shook her head. "No, I'm not good at that sort of thing either. I wouldn't know where to start. My skills lay elsewhere. The dancing would be the best fit, odd as it may feel."
  6. [19:50:16] Jackson Kinsella: Jackson is shocked once more, he was finally starting to get used to Jackie and now this, the mass of scars horrifies him at first, and then he feels sympathy, and then he remembers that she said she liked pain. He looks at her in confused bafflement, she's so pretty, but she's covered in scars. For now, at least, he can't take his eyes off of her.
  7. [19:52:12] Jackie Valentine: She looks then to Jackson, grinning. "Just the sample platter, there. " then she smiles, and seems to be quoting. "What do I care for your suffering? Pain, even agony, is no more than information before the senses, data fed to the computer of the mind. The lesson is simple: you have received the information, now act on it. Take control of the input and you shall become master of the output."
  8. [19:54:01] Jackie Valentine: Then a glance to Tabitha. "Well, if you don't mind me saying little one, you're surely pretty enough to earn some looks, and it's easy money. And no one will hurt you on that stage - if they even think to start to try, Marcus and I will grind their bones." Then she leans in, slowly, murmuring gently to the other Lost
  9. [19:55:10] Jackson Kinsella: "I think I see what you're saying, that by learning to like it, you break the bonds of being afraid of it and having it control you." he says, nodding. 'That's very insightful, ripper, I mean, Miss Ripper..." he says, tilting his head, smiling genuinely now. "What about...um..." he trails off as Jackie leans in to whisper to her Changeling compatriots, suddenly very interested in his empty coffee cup so they can have their whispery moment in peace.
  10. [19:55:56] Jackie Valentine: She looks back up them. "About?"
  11. [19:56:29] Jackson Kinsella: "Stockings...do you ever wear stockings...?" He asks, softly, looking into her eyes.
