Once upon a time a magical mirror was found leading to another dimension. Celestia send her most trusted guards to explore the new world. When they returned they told stories about a magical substance they found which was both the most amazing thing, but also very terrifying. Celestia demanded the details must remain secret as it would disturb the balance in  Equestria. When Sunset joined the School for Gifted Unicorns after a few years she met one of the guards who was immediately scared away. Sunset confronted the guard, but while he did mention the events in the past quickly after remembering how Tia wanted it to be kept confidential he remained silent. Sunset intrigued by the stories that were told among other stories and also wondering why the guard was specifically scared of her decided to seek the mirror. Celestia noticed her efforts and warned her not to go, but she did anyway. She arrived in the human world and after months of wasted time searching for the magical substance she decided to take a rest. Being unaware of the new culture she discovered she asked a native for a recommendation on what food to order since her own supplies were already depleted. She couldn't know that by ordering a /burger/ she finally found it: Bacon. The delicious thing she had been looking for the whole time immediately took out her senses. Glad that she finally found the secret she prepared to return to Equestria where Tia would already be waiting for her. She explained her findings to Tia who stared at her judging the poor pony. Celestia asked her if she had eaten the bacon. Sunset Shimmer did. How else would she have been able to experience it? Celestia explained to her what bacon was made out of and why it scared the guards that were originally sent to the human world. Feeling guilty and embarrassed Sunset fled into the human world and was never seen again.
