[b]Instructions:[/b]
First things first!
[size=150][b]IP Address:[/b][/size]
[b]Step 1[/b] = press ctrl + r on your keyboard and type [i][b]cmd[/b][/i]
The command line with a black screen will appear for you to enter commands.

[b]Step 2[/b] = type [b][i]ipconfig[/i][/b]. Your IP configuration will appear saying IP Address or similar.

[b]Step 3[/b] = Copy the [b][i]IP address eg; 192.168.1.77[/i][/b] where 77 varies depending on your computers internal IP.
you'll gonna need this IP in Step 2 of Configurations Section.

[b]Step 1[/b] = go to you mw2 directory [b][i]eg; C:\Program Files\modern warfare 2\[/i][/b]

[b]Step 2[/b] = open [b][i]AlterIWnet.ini[/i][/b] and change this line "server=server.alteriw.net" to "server=192.168.1.77" or whatever IP you get from Step 3 of IP Address Section.

[b]Step 3[/b] = open [b][i]iw4mp.cfg[/i][/b] and delete everything inside it and paste these and overwrite save it.

[b]How to Join the Host:[/b]
1. The host must have started a Private Match already.
2. ask the host for his IP Address and just type it to your game console or paste it using this format [i][b]connect 192.168.1.77[/b][/i] note this IP is just an example your host IP might be different.

refer IP Address Section for Instructions how to get the IP Address.
