  1. Garst Tyrell - June 13
  2.
  3. Course of Action - Major Revision of Sov and Politics to consolidate in a smaller area
  4.
  5. What: Retention of all existing Vangaurd allies/policies internally in order to maintain the strength to go independent through the rest of all non-Vanguard blues. This is most plausible in an amicable way with GEMICO by trading solar our sov in exchange for their insmother sov. We then extricate ER/spire entirely to exit all standings with the drone lands. If solar refuses to trade (or is just too damn afk to coordinate it) we take over the sov in Insmother by force under the assumption that xix will be willing to stay out of it. or that we would want to fight out best allies if it came down to it. We then consolidate our blues into just Insmother/detoried as in the map below. Our rental alliace would either be sold or those willing would to detorid if we took the sov from Insmother. XIX would likely take over ER/The Spire on paper. We would also intentionally ignore any sov/pos outside of our areas of easy access in our holdings (pre-moon nerf) in order to minimize what we spend time grinding or defendingl I drew a map below that would probably satisfy all parties.
  6.
  7. Argument: Condensing down to 1.5 regions reduces the amount we have to defend, freeing us up supposedly. Unblueing everyone gives more local content. We keep access to Vanguard, our sov, and all perks that come with it. We get to sell most our stations in the winter, if were still holding the area. Should satisfy the dissidents and loud mouths who we have too much sov and blues. May slightly help recruitment and could give us a narrative if we cared to spin it publicly.
  8.
  9. Risks: We would be throwing the dice to essentially claim that we are strong enough to go independent and stand on our own without any agreements unless we manage a neutral/friends agreement with XIX and they dont get involved in purging Insmother of SOLAR. This paints a big target on our back for invasion and removes some of the incentive of people like ncdot and pl to ignore us strategically. Although content could come our way it could easily balloon into something we cant realistically fight and then we end up kicked out in a trail of tears. Vangaurd is unlikely to get any stronger than alliances we have now, so if those collapse we are going to keep getting weaker and weaker. Perhapos the biggest change would be we would lose half of our coalition income and no longer be able to support current level of SRP or subsidy programs. Combined with moon nerfs and probable limited redistribution to Vanguard, corp income would take a hit as well in the short term maybe, and in the long term for sure, would require a lot of effort on the part of leaders to coordinate diplo, pos xfers, movement of assets, renters etc, risk that we could lose a war with SOLAR and we unable to move our blues in as the map above high lights. Still have issue with spies and shit blues in fleets.

  12. Riseoffilth - June 13th - Quoting Garst Tyrell
  13.
  14. -How does option 3 propose to replace the JF routes we current use that go through C-4?
  15.
  16. -What changes in strat level content creation, if any, do option 2 or 3 provide that we cannot get with the status quo? (Strat level content has consistently been chosen as the priority when ever our member base was asked they wanted their time dedicated to.)
  17.
  18. -Why is anything else more important compared to getting more strat op content? if that doesn't make the whiny bitches, ahem, valued content creators to stfu, then I won't be sad to see the door hit their ass on the way out.
  19.
  20. My Proposal: WAR
  21.
  22. -Get all our allies together and create a plan to attack any region (orm ultiple of sov that we legitimately think we can take with the goal of holding it when the ball drops and stations are converted to forts. ALl captured stations are then sold and proceeds distributed to all participating corps to do with as they see fit. Base payments off of member count averages taken by fcs in fleets. Bonus for corps that bring lots of entosisers. Each alliance wallet (or whatever) gets isk from current holdings, individual corps get rest.
  23.
  24. -The above is obviously a fall/winter plan. Until then, start a small war to grow our holdings that doesn't embroil us in anything long term. It could even been a subcap deployment to help another group gain space on the understanding we get some iskies or a share of the stations when it all shakes loose. Again isk goes to corps involved. They can distribute it to their members as they see fit.
  25.
  26. -Drop dreads/supers like we don't give a fuck. Pverty fit them and lets have a fuckin blast. I just got my supp fully fit and I am ready to fuckin party.
  27.
  28. -Keep all current blues and invite them in. Everyone else is fair game.
  29.
  30. -As needed, recruit nearby powers like fcon's coalition or co2/test to get numbers needed to fighter defending blobs. Or just focus on mass entosising and small gang fights to split up enemy groups. Cancer people out of their valuable stations.
  31.
  32. -I want to rekt the north, again.
  33.
  34. Advantages
  35. -Create strat level content, the single biggest thing everyone wants
  36. -A clear objective with Success/Fail conditions
  37. -Potential risk for the winner, giving every corp incentive to get people into the fight
  38. -Generate content in eve and energize the memberbase
  39.
  40. Risks
  41. -Leave our space relatively open to attack while deployed (though we can JC back)
  42.
  43. "Can we get a litte more skeletor up in this motherfucker?"
  44.
  45.
  46.
  47. Cpt Patrick Archer - June 13
  48.
  49. My proposal:
  50.
  51. Drop droneland blues, swap spire sov with solar detoried/insmother sov. Either through war or diplomacy. Drop/sell ER
  52.
  53. Reset all NIPS. Attack FCON in an attempt to take Feyth/Omist and see where things end. That would be an interesting move, one like we used to make back in the day. Fuck everything, I'm bored.
  54.
  55. Also, option 3 doesnt give anywhere near enough renter income to support our coalition. It wouldn't even be enough to keep our spy and wormhole program alive, let alone SRP.
  56.
  57.
  58. Garst Tyrell - June 14
  59.
  60. @cpt pat what is the difference between dropping droneland blues and leaving ER/Spire entirely and option 3 unless you don't want to give the sov to our blues and want to move in the renters from the spire?
  61.
  62. Cpt Patrick Archer - June 14 in response to Garst
  63.
  64. We replace spire renters by renters in detorid/Insmother. Realistically we'd only lsoe 20-30b a month.
  65.
  66. Rhaeghar - June 14
  67.
  68. Not sure what the general feeling from "testco toward saving FCON is, or would be in that context."
  69.
  70. Cpt Patrick Archer - June 14 in response to Rhaeghar
  71.
  72. They're friendly in general and super bored, I am sure they would help out.
  73.
  74.
  75. frsd - June 15
  76.
  77. Keep in mind that anything we initiate the spark for, especially in the south will INSTANTLY blow up to a scale that we have will have a serious challenge at managing. Local content is dead because there is none anywhere else and people will fly across the entire galaxy to dogpile on any fight so they can press F1. So whoever we move against, expect all their closer allies to start helping them for the smallest timers and plan accordingly.
  78.
  79. As far as the plans go, I don't think 1 is an option as we've been making the same promises for a long time and it's hitting the tipping point.
  80.
  81. My personal opinion?
  82.
  83. Fuck it, go with COA3. Who knows if this game will still be around in 6 months and we should get the most out of it. Literally the worst that can happen under current mechanics is asset safety to LOS which would be easier than moving all the stuff ourselves lmao. Ofc we'd have to make the prep so that we don't get turbo blobbed on day 1, but I think that we can pull it off. Also, if someone for whatever reason actually decides to invade (I sincerely doubt anyone is up for the entosis/citadel combo cancer) we always have favors we can call in to even the offs if its a massive blob.
  84.
  85. Garst Tyrell to frsd - June 15
  86.
  87. Which coa 3 are you referring to; the collapse the renter alliance go move out of drone lands one or a different idea?
  88.
  89. frsd to Garst Tyrell - June 16
  90.
  91. collapse droneland renters/swap with solar holdings in deotrid/Insmother
  92.
  93.
  94.
  95. Sahriah BloodStone - June 20
  96.
  97. Ok, I ahve taken a week or so to think about this discussion as it covers a lot of different areas. I have tried to break down my thoughts on what we should do and the reasoning behind it for each section.
  98.
  99. Vanguard: Keep Vangaurd as is but aggressively remove entities that do not perform (like IGC). Encourage them to deploy with us with the goal of being able to field separate TRI andblue fleets for the best of both worlds.
  100.
  101. Space: Condense down to Insmother/Detoried and the path from EFM>LXQ. Get rid of WC/SP sov to allow for other groups to move in ad be neutral content. Perhaps keep spire stuff for renters or swap with solar as leadership deems appropriate.
  102.
  103. Content/PVP - Remove NIPs and as many blues outside of VG as we can. Limit our siding on wars and try to take as many fights as we can as neutral third parties rather than for one side or the other. Focus on capital pvp and not just supercaps/titans.
  104.
  105. Leadership and our relations with other entities - TRI should stick by its agreements and not become known for double-crossing people because we're bored.
  106.
  107. Cpt Patrick Archer - June 25
  108.
  109. I think we have said all that needs to be said in this and the other thread combined. Realisitically e have options but they aren't "real options."
  110.
  111. We should move forward resetting drones, trading that sov for the SOLAR sov in Insmother/Detorid. Poach as many decent corps in from our blues, anyone that is still a good alliance after we're doing with that can stay; everyone else can go. We don't give a fuck about 5-10 extra dudes in fleet if it means giving their alliance +2 consts of high-ed sov.
  112.
  113. I think we should be careful resetting the FCON NIP right away. If SOLAR doesn't give up their/our space willingly, I don't think we'll be facing an invasion by anyone anytime soon, since nobody is looking for new space. At best it will stay at fun deployments, most likely without supers. With out Titan count growing by the day. I am confident that we can fight them off on friendly Citadel Grinds. which is all that will matter.
  114.
  115. Well I just remembered that bad rusrus community is gearing up to take C-J before the stations flip. They've been hinting this for months now, it may be a troll but I think it is a real possibility. Set sov timers to USTZ and get people to keep ADMs somewhat up, problem solved.
  116.
  117. So that regarding what stuff to keep. Now how do we get fights?
  118.
  119. The reaility is that we currently need Vangaurd numbers in our fleets to take any meaningful fights in null sec. I htink we can push corps in our blue alliances to be better if they were in TRI, which is why I think we should poach as many as we can. Maybe some day we'll be big enough to get rid of them all. With VG numbers we are able to take a lot of fights, especially with out better preparation and FCing. We have shown time and time again that we can dunk n00bs while being outnumbers. XIX, SW, FCON, CONDI, OOS, and GOTG come to mind. On top of that we have a really good spy network in place now so we can better prepare for fights or scout them early.
  120.
  121. I realize this move doesn't spawn some perfect new enemy to fight, but they simply aren't there. By keeping on VG we're at least capable of fighting an as wide variety of enemies as possible.
  122.
  123. tl;dr
  124.
  125. -Reset drones, sell sov there
  126. -Buy/Trade/conquer SOLAR sov in Angel space
  127. -Poach good corps from our blues, get rid of the shitlers
  128.
  129. Edit: Solar has said they have little to no interest in selling Insmother/Detorid sov since they use it themselves.
  130.
  131.
  132. Sahriah BloodStone - June 26th
  133.
  134. After the discussion on discord, why would we even want to kick Solar out of Deotird? YOu said yourself that its too far away from the rest of us to put VG alliances there, and Frat is already attacking the IGC areas, so what purpose is removing solar from there going to do if we are ot interested in the rest of it?
  135.
  136. We need to look at what's going with FUM8/WOMBO/Manifesto. asap and sort out what they are doing asap. TBC is currently defending sov that I am under the impression that they are meant to be dropping soon and moving to consolidate their space closer to us. Their situation needs to be sorted so we stop wasting time and resources defending areas we're going to abandon. If Frat is trying to take Detorid stuff maybe we can take their WC pocket to make up for the moons/space we are losing there.
  137.
  138. Completely defanging all friendly alliances by poaching their corps then telling them to go away is going to be a prettydick move. They will find out your attemtping that and we'll probably lose more than we gain. We absolutely do need to unify our goals as a coalition and get everyone staged together again. Split staging makes it frustrating as hell to rage form anything decent. I'd still prefer to stage within jump range of fcon space, because just like the other night, we could have had a dank counter drop on them if I could have formed more people. What goals have we given long term members like HADES and SNOVA and how have they done with them?
  139.
  140. What is going on with the FCON NIP because right now we're dropping citadels in their space to generate fights and that's breaking it as far as I am aware. Every time I ask no-one answers my question except for a "I am taking care of it" which is very confusing. Some of us can break the nip and some can't? A little more transparency would be appreciated.
  141.
  142. Right now I think we can generate plenty of fights by dropping citadels or attacking towers from everyone nearby. I think we could get some nice fights out of NSH by counter assaulting their stuff, at least for USTZ. Iti s kinda clear that there is no reason for a proper war though.
  143.
  144.
  145. Ketzero in response to Sahriah - June 27th
  146.
  147. re: Sahriah's comment on the FCON NIP: I don't think FCON will invade us if we drop it, the best way to get fights is by making someone think they are under attack, thereby forcing the issue.
