There are two vehicles in states of severe disrepair and decay, a steam-powered wagon and what looks like an Enclave bomber wagon. There are four pegasi skeletons in here ringed around the latter.

  4. [2014-04-16 13:29:11] <Little_Gloom> 3Bookwright finds enough identifying marks to recognize these pegasi as a patrol team from the Thunderhead, suggesting they have been here about two decades, not over two centuries. The Enclave wagon, however, has clearly been here the full duration.
  5. [2014-04-16 13:30:26] <Little_Gloom> 3Meanwhile, Shatara and Golden Dream are investigating two ruined tanks.
  6. [2014-04-16 13:31:01] <Little_Gloom> 3Golden_Dream has her try at the hatch. Surprisingly, the hatch emits a loud, teeth-tormenting groan as rust flakes off and the hatch opens... a little. Not enough for anyone to climb in, but enough to get a look inside.
  7. [2014-04-16 13:31:32] <Little_Gloom> 3"Whuh? But...uh...I totally loosened it for you!" Shatara flaps past her muttering something about stoopid cheater earfpones.
  8. [2014-04-16 13:31:42] <Little_Gloom> 3Golden_Dream gives Shatara's direction a sassy look as she put her fore hooves on the sides of her flanks. "Yeah, whatever helps y' sleep at night."
  9. [2014-04-16 13:32:26] <Little_Gloom> 3Shatara gets a look inside the partially opened hatch, his PipBuck shedding light inside. Within, he can see a carbine rifle that looks to be in fair condition with a bayonet attached to the end. Unfortunately, he can't seem to get a good angle to see whether or not there are any shells left in the tank.
  10. [2014-04-16 13:32:31] <Little_Gloom> 3Golden_Dream is a little smaller and able to get into a very uncomfortable position that allows her to spy the rack for the tank shells. It's not a very good look, but she can tell that it is mostly empty. Which, importantly, is not the same as completely empty.

  15. [2014-04-16 13:33:07] <Little_Gloom> 3Golden_Dream does a sit-up and cranes her neck so that she gets out of the tank. "This tank got some big ol' bullets in it! Like, huge!"
  16. [2014-04-16 13:33:21] <Little_Gloom> 3Shatara waves his talons in gesturations of size. "Like...?"
  17. [2014-04-16 13:33:35] <Little_Gloom> 3Bookwright asks, "So? It's supposed to. It's a tank."
  18. [2014-04-16 13:33:42] <Little_Gloom> 3Golden_Dream gives a rough size estimate and gestures for Shatara to turn around.

  23. [2014-04-16 13:36:57] * CopyCat is also eager for knowledge. "Yes, tell us about the three sea shells! I've always wondered how they worked..."
  24. [2014-04-16 13:37:55] * Shatara shrugs a little. "Well, judging by the cannons, they should be 75mm...but I can't get a good look.
  25. [2014-04-16 13:38:39] * Golden_Dream looks at CopyCat incredulously. "Tank shells, CopyCat. Like, th' kind that these old things used'ta spit out and turn th' thing on the other side int' th' same thing, but with a hole in 'em the size of a beach ball!"
  26. [2014-04-16 13:39:50] * CopyCat 'oooohhs'. "Oooohh. I thought it was the thing the future had instead of toilet paper."
  27. [2014-04-16 13:39:57] * Noble_Heart frowns slightly and watches Golden Dream and Shatara briefly before looking back towards the enclave bombing wagon. Taking a moment to see if there was a way to get inside.
  28. [2014-04-16 13:41:05] * Bookwright is confused. "So they're... shells, but they're... wrong...?"
  29. [2014-04-16 13:43:12] <Little_Gloom> 3Getting into the Enclave bombing wagon is easy. The military clearly stripped the back of any explosive ordinance, and the medical box is open and empty. But as Shatara catalogued before, there are plenty of spare parts salvageable from this wagon, some of which could be used for maintenance on the firewagon if necessary.
  30. [2014-04-16 13:43:13] * Golden_Dream takes a look back into the tank and probably bonks Shatara on the head with hers doing so. She popped back out, rubbing her head. "They look fine t' me!"
  31. [2014-04-16 13:43:46] * Bookwright "I'm really, really confused."
  32. [2014-04-16 13:44:19] * Noble_Heart frowns and tilts her head to one side. She still couldn't figure out what was so desperate to get from this bomber...
  33. [2014-04-16 13:47:03] * CopyCat clears her throat. "I'm with Noble. Why those enclave pegasi were here and how they died is a more pressing question."
  34. [2014-04-16 13:49:41] * Golden_Dream half-lids her eyes. "I'm jus' happy they're gone, t' be honest." She then actually thought about the problem, and dug around in her pack. "... Hey, guys. Remember this thing?" She said, lifting out the C.R.U.X. shell she picked up from the fallen tower.

  36. [2014-04-16 13:51:49] * Noble_Heart looks back up to Golden Dream. She did not, infact, remember that thing which was just pulled from the bag.
  37. [2014-04-16 13:53:52] * CopyCat gives her expert medical opinion. "Perhaps it was a poor diet?"
  38. [2014-04-16 13:57:12] * Get_CSI gives her contribution to the dead pones guessing game "they didn't die, they evolved to bone type?"
  39. [2014-04-16 13:57:52] * CopyCat turns to Get_CSI. "Perhaps a Fossil Stone was involved?"
  40. [2014-04-16 13:58:42] * Get_CSI "no idea... but yeah, i'd say it was"
  41. [2014-04-16 14:00:39] * Bookwright is nonplussed.
  42. [2014-04-16 14:00:50] * Bookwright conveys this with a slightly sour expression.
  43. [2014-04-16 14:04:59] * Golden_Dream gets a little perked up. "Alright, so, this thing's, like, a huge anti-matrix bomb. And these bombers and those armors, they use matrixes, right?" She nods. "So, those armors are built to be able to take just about anything, and yet they're jus' about rubble. So, I'm thinkin' both their matrixes went off at th' same time around this area, th' bomber crashed, and then th' only folk that made...
  44. [2014-04-16 14:05:00] * Golden_Dream ...it out were th' folk that weren't trapped in them armors or were in shape enough to get out and fall back."
  45. [2014-04-16 14:06:09] * Golden_Dream shrugs. "And then their meat just got eaten up by any bugs or birds around."
  46. [2014-04-16 14:07:29] * Bookwright shakes his head. "That would make sense, except that these pegasi came here after this wagon landed. I recognize their armor. At most, they've been here only twenty years."
  47. [2014-04-16 14:07:43] * Noble_Heart contemplates that, then looks to the vehicle again, then frowns. "We are uncertain. Why would they be gathered like that? If they were eaten by animals, would their bones not be scattered more?" She furrows her brow.
  48. [2014-04-16 14:08:34] * CopyCat frowns. "But there are no birds. I haven't noticed any bugs either. Nothing seems to be alive here. The radiation seems too strong."
  49. [2014-04-16 14:09:00] * Get_CSI since she doesn't have many clues about what is going on, decides to do what she does by default and starts fixing the wagon
  50. [2014-04-16 14:10:48] * Bookwright sighs the sigh of strained patience. "So we've come around again, to why these pegasi died. If it's not too much trouble Get Lost, do you think you can give them a postmortem? That is to say, figure out what killed them from their skeletons?"
  51. [2014-04-16 14:11:57] * Golden_Dream shrugs. "Jus' an idea. Maybe they jus' pissed off some death ghosts by passin' by th' school and not stoppin' and that's why they're skeletons." She was reaching. She knew Molly wouldn't do that. She also decided to give the death spirit she made friends with the name Molly.
  52. [2014-04-16 14:12:09] * Get_CSI turns at the two dead pegasi and does her best to figure out what killed them
  53. [2014-04-16 14:12:40] * Bookwright "After all, if what killed these pegasi is still around, we should be on our guard."
  54. [2014-04-16 14:19:06] * Golden_Dream scratches her cheek. "Do they got scratches on their bones?"
  55. [2014-04-16 14:29:35] <Little_Gloom> 3Get_Lost looks over the skeletons. There is no sign of trauma or violence, at least none that would be a cause of death. A couple of bones have healed from breaks, but those injuries were well before they died.
  56. [2014-04-16 14:30:37] * Get_CSI studies the bones for a while, then shakes heer head "nope. no idea, sorry girls." goes back fixing/salvaging the wagon
  57. [2014-04-16 14:31:07] <Little_Gloom> 3Get_Lost finds the wagon itself beyond repair, but there are plenty of parts that can be stripped out for salvage, many of which could be used to repair or possibly upgrade the firewagon.
  58. [2014-04-16 14:31:32] * Shatara remains frozen mid-conversation atop the tank.
  59. [2014-04-16 14:31:36] * CopyCat nods. "They died of being dead."
  60. [2014-04-16 14:32:01] * Bookwright frowns. "I still don't like it."
  61. [2014-04-16 14:32:55] * Golden_Dream looks at Shatara. "Ya'll alright there, Shatara?"
  62. [2014-04-16 14:34:12] * Get_CSI starts stripping the wagon of everything ""hey sexy bird, you going to help me with trashing this big guy?
  63. [2014-04-16 14:40:14] * Get_CSI notices the tank (probably it had a good stealth skill) and decides that gets the priority "i hope it still can fire"
  64. [2014-04-16 14:42:50] * Shatara sadly points the rusted out barrels and breeches on the cannons. Hardly good for decoration anymore.
  65. [2014-04-16 14:43:52] * CopyCat trots behind Get_CSI as the mare switches her attention to the heavy vehicle. "Do you usually feel such a warm, tingly feeling inside when you look at a tank?"
  66. [2014-04-16 14:44:20] * Shatara nods. "Duh, its a TANK."
  67. [2014-04-16 14:45:45] * Get_CSI takes her pickaxe "nah, only when i find a tank i really dig!" and starts digging the tank
  68. [2014-04-16 14:46:28] * Bookwright "So... does it still open? What's inside?"
  69. [2014-04-16 14:47:20] * Get_CSI laughs maniacally and replies "probably, a tank!"
  70. [2014-04-16 14:50:04] * Golden_Dream rolls her eyes. "Yeah, yeah, get th' shells. Is that everything that's here?"
  71. [2014-04-16 14:50:57] * Shatara hmms. "I'd like to see if the machine guns and ammo are still inside. They might have been stripped when the place was abandoned, though.
  72. [2014-04-16 14:51:44] * Get_CSI "i want to see if the engine is still going... maybe the gun is loaded..."
  73. [2014-04-16 14:52:56] * Shatara shakes hishead. "I don't think they loaded the things unless they were about to shoot something. The breech is in terrible condition though, if theres something in there I doubt it's coming out..."
  74. [2014-04-16 14:53:10] <Little_Gloom> 3Sadly, Get_Lost soon realizes the tanks have rusted beyond repair after two centuries in salt-tinged air. Most of the once-moving parts are welded together, leaving them useless even for scrap. However, there might be treasures inside. In fact, the partially opened hatch that Shatara stands guard over reveals a few military goodies.
  75. [2014-04-16 15:06:14] <Little_Gloom> 3Shatara and Golden_Dream are graced with a vision. The Enclave ponies swooping into the mechanics building. Two of them land, trotting up to the bomberwagon, while another flies above and one watches the last watches their back, keeping the plasma-weapons of her power armor ready.
  76. [2014-04-16 15:07:34] * Golden_Dream blinks. Oh shit. OH SHIT. [Copycat! Copycat, they're over there by the mechanics building! Two of 'em! Relay the message!]
  77. [2014-04-16 15:07:38] <Little_Gloom> 3The young pony and griffin watch as the pegasi falter, the flying one landing. All looking suddenly weary. One of them topples. The others turn towards her. One moves close, trying to figure out what is wrong. A moment later, he too has collapsed.
  78. [2014-04-16 15:08:23] * Bookwright "Um. Shatara? Golden? You two okay? You got all distant eye'd all of the sudden."
  79. [2014-04-16 15:08:56] <Little_Gloom> 3The others turn to each other, the one in armor saying something they cannot hear, tapping her visor. Then... they too fall. Like going to sleep. It looks... peaceful.
  80. [2014-04-16 15:09:17] <Little_Gloom> 3>> They were not invited. <<
  81. [2014-04-16 15:09:52] * CopyCat double blinks and then looks around all of a sudden. "She said there were pegasi landing just over there, but it's like she's seeing ghosts again."
  82. [2014-04-16 15:10:03] * Golden_Dream blinks, jaw slightly lowered in confusion. Wait... One of them just.... Oh. Oh! This is somethin' that happened from the before! "So, this place is an invitation-only place? We must be on some list."
  83. [2014-04-16 15:10:09] * Shatara 's eyes pinprick and he gulps. "oh...good for us then..."
  84. [2014-04-16 15:10:21] <Little_Gloom> 3The voice is the same as the one which greeted them when they first approached Tragedy's End.
  85. [2014-04-16 15:10:35] <Little_Gloom> 3The vision clears.
  86. [2014-04-16 15:11:01] * Get_CSI is now trying to open the thing with bare teeth
  87. [2014-04-16 15:11:02] * Golden_Dream smirks faintly, but nervously. She guessed it was a bit healthy to be a little afraid of death. "Hey, speakin' of, do ya'll mind if I call y' Molly?"
  88. [2014-04-16 15:11:25] * Get_CSI also, begging and treatening it. so mature
  89. [2014-04-16 15:11:52] * Get_CSI much sience. very composure... wow
  90. [2014-04-16 15:16:02] * Noble_Heart moves up beside Get Lost. She reaches out with her magic to attempt to force open the hatch. WHich wasn't easy, considering it was made of weapons-resistant metal. "We are concerned about the nature of Our invitation. But right now, it would seem best to do what We can to explore before setting out further."
  91. [2014-04-16 15:17:27] * Golden_Dream turns towards Noble, looking slightly confused, just noticing a weird change of pattern. "Noble, Corolla, y' went back t' sayin' 'We'."
  92. [2014-04-16 15:18:40] * Bookwright is frustrated by the lack of explanation. "What do you mean 'invitation-only'? I don't understand. Invited by who?"
  93. [2014-04-16 15:18:44] * Noble_Heart blinks a moment. "Should We not?"
  94. [2014-04-16 15:19:58] * Golden_Dream looks at Bookwright. "Apparently, th' death spirits been guarding this place. We're on alright terms by them, so we get t' poke around. Th' Enclavers weren't, so..."
  95. [2014-04-16 15:20:51] * Bookwright "So... they died? Is that what you're saying?" He composes himself. "Perhaps we should meet our hosts..."
  96. [2014-04-16 15:20:57] * Get_CSI "wow, so hipsters like us... that's something new." keeps working on the hatch
  97. [2014-04-16 15:24:07] * Shatara shuddes. "They just...died..."
  98. [2014-04-16 15:24:24] * Noble_Heart furrows her brow. That was worring. "Dieing to death does not seem a good thing."
  99. [2014-04-16 15:25:01] * Bookwright "Hm. Well, as for this tank... I could probably phase the hatch on top so somepony- or somegriffin could slip in there."
  100. [2014-04-16 15:26:38] * Golden_Dream frowns. She realized just how close she got to straight-up dying. "... If we want t' meet them, we go to th' wonderglue factory." She announced, getting closer to Noble_Heart. "I feel a lot more comfortable when you say 'I' and 'my'." She muttered, smiling faintly. She looked scared.
  101. [2014-04-16 15:27:31] * Noble_Heart looked down to Golden Dream, slightly confused about that. Then sighed quietly. "I shall do my best..." She stumbles over the words briefly, obviously they weren't what came to mind first.
  102. [2014-04-16 15:28:52] * CopyCat grins at Golden_Dream. "We shall do my best as well!"
  103. [2014-04-16 15:29:29] * Get_CSI laughs while still trying to force the hatch "don't be a scaredy pony, kid! they won't assimilate you! you are a cyborg, they don't invite that kind of folks in the club!"
  104. [2014-04-16 15:30:04] * Bookwright "Er, would you like that, Shatara? Shall I cast Phase on this hatch for you to slip in?"
  105. [2014-04-16 15:31:16] * Shatara blinks and blushes. "I uh...what?"
  106. [2014-04-16 15:31:58] * Bookwright "To the tank. I think I can make the hatch there intangible. I'd need to cast the spell again so you could get out, but that way you can loot the interior. Would you like that?"
  107. [2014-04-16 15:32:20] * Golden_Dream chuckles anxiously. "Good one, Copycat. Good one, Get." She immediately rubbed her leg. "You didn't have any trouble usin' 'I' and 'My' when I called you Corolla. Why's that?" She mumbled again.
  108. [2014-04-16 15:33:26] * Noble_Heart frowns slightly and contemplates that "W-I am not sure. Perhaps it is just something about you?"
  109. [2014-04-16 15:34:34] * Get_CSI sings an old mining song while working hard "don't mine at night!"
  110. [2014-04-16 15:34:39] <Little_Gloom> 3Get_Lost tries a combination of acid, Sparkle~Cola and a pickaxe. The tank hatch groans under the assault and finally gives way for the Solaris pony, opening completely.

  112. [2014-04-16 15:35:42] * Golden_Dream sobered up a bit with that thought. "... You could pick a better pony t' get sentimental over." She didn't know where that bit of self-pity came from, but she didn't like that it escaped. "I'm sorry. Place is gettin' t' me."
  113. [2014-04-16 15:35:48] * Bookwright "Or that. That could work." He pony-whispers in Shatara's ear: "I didn't expect that to work."
  114. [2014-04-16 15:35:51] * CopyCat cheers! "I'm sure that's not the first time Get_CSI has had her way with war machines."
  115. [2014-04-16 15:35:54] * Get_CSI shows the hatch to shaara and lets him go in first "be my guest"
  116. [2014-04-16 15:37:00] * Shatara eagerly dives into the tank!
  117. [2014-04-16 15:37:05] <Little_Gloom> 3Again, after some delay, the voice replies in Golden_Dream's head. >> I am not Molly. But I have been told of your offer of... friendship... to the one you call by that name. Thus, you and your friends are welcome here. Even the one who should not be. <<
  118. [2014-04-16 15:37:20] * Noble_Heart gently lays a wing across Golden Dream. Then looks up towards the tank curiously.
  119. [2014-04-16 15:38:32] * Get_CSI slaps birdcat on the plot when he's half inside the thing! go get 'em girl!
  120. [2014-04-16 15:38:46] * Shatara squawks!
  121. [2014-04-16 15:40:01] * Golden_Dream crooks her eyebrow. Oh, good. Her tone was slightly weak. "So, uh-um. What do ya'll mean by th' one that sh-" And then it hit her. "O-oh. Rainbow Dash." She corrected. "Um. She's real nice when y' get t' meet her. Are ya'll at th' wonderglue factory?"
  122. [2014-04-16 15:41:25] <Little_Gloom> 3Shatara dives into the innards of the tank. The rust in here is not quite as bad, although the air smells stale and coppery. The rifle inside -- a long-barreled lever-action rifle with an extended magazine and a bayonet -- is in considerably better condition, having been shielded from the elements by the tank itself.
  123. [2014-04-16 15:42:02] <Little_Gloom> 3There are six shells still in the tank, and a military helmet (blue, with a silver moon painted on it).
  124. [2014-04-16 15:42:40] * Get_CSI slips in the tank too and starts touching stuff "alright, let's see... periscope... main engine control... FTL drive... where is the altitude alarm?"
  125. [2014-04-16 15:43:07] * Bookwright peers inside. "Cool helmet, dude."
  126. [2014-04-16 15:43:24] <Little_Gloom> 3The rifle looks like it was lovingly maintained by its owner until he or she passed.
  127. [2014-04-16 15:44:52] * CopyCat pokes her head in. "Altitude alarm? Oh, is it the long wiggling tail-thing with the fluffy tuft at the end?"
  128. [2014-04-16 15:45:16] * Get_CSI "dunno, pull it and see what happens"
  129. [2014-04-16 15:46:01] * CopyCat reaches down and pulls on Shatara's tail with her teeth.
  130. [2014-04-16 15:46:15] * Shatara blinkblinksat Get_CSI. He examinesthe rifle,checking it's load, and ACKS!
  131. [2014-04-16 15:47:38] * CopyCat talks with tail still in her mouth. "I fthink I trigfered thfe afarm."
  132. [2014-04-16 15:48:06] <Little_Gloom> 3>> Yes, I am here. But only I. My... grandchildren give me space. <<
  133. [2014-04-16 15:48:07] * Get_CSI puts on the radio headphones and speaks in the microphone "iron brigade, iron brigade! we're behind the enemy lines! we will infiltrate the fort and take it by surprise! SDF1! battlestations!"
  134. [2014-04-16 15:49:08] * Shatara flails a bit and wriggles his tail in CopyCat's grip.
  135. [2014-04-16 15:49:17] <Little_Gloom> 3The rifle has a full load.
  136. [2014-04-16 15:49:39] * Noble_Heart groans slightly and sighs. At this point she wasn't even sure what they were doing here.
  137. [2014-04-16 15:50:31] * CopyCat spits out the tail. "Shatara! What altitude are we at?"
  138. [2014-04-16 15:51:17] * Shatara oofs into the commander's seat. "Wer're uh...on the ground?"
  139. [2014-04-16 15:51:29] <Little_Gloom> 3The bullets appear to be JHP.
  140. [2014-04-16 15:51:59] * CopyCat grins. "It worked! Shatara is best altitude alarm!"
  141. [2014-04-16 15:52:26] * Golden_Dream really hopes Copycat is listening to this so that she doesn't sound crazier when she says this next part. "Would y' like some company? I'm not exactly, uh, all that great but, um. I ain't met a grammy that's been unpleasant t' talk to."
  142. [2014-04-16 15:53:33] * Get_CSI "small fleeet of zion's vessels coming from starboard! a corvette, a destroyer and a alicorn class battlecruiser! commander, what are your orders?" points a hoof at noble, kid and bookie
  143. [2014-04-16 15:54:34] * Bookwright does some mental math, then bares his teeth at Get_CSI. "Grr! I'm a destroyer! I'll destroy yooooooooou!"
  144. [2014-04-16 15:54:50] * CopyCat orders. "Drop down, increase speed, and reverse direction!"
  145. [2014-04-16 15:55:58] * Noble_Heart groans and rubs her face with a forehoof. This was getting entirely too out of hoof at this point.

  147. [2014-04-16 15:58:21] * Get_CSI was going to die, hit by bookie, but notices that noble is not liking anything of this, so, decides to stop "uhm.... yeah, we better keep moving...."

The wreckage of a military transport wagon lies in the court, the bed stained bad colors that can't wash out even with twenty-three decades of weather and rain.
  189. [2014-04-16 16:50:59] <Little_Gloom> 3The hazardous green glow emanates from the opposite rear corner of the complex, where the ponies glimpsed several acres of dead or mutated trees. Those that still survived were bearing a cancerous-looking fruit.

The nearest other entrance is on the second floor where a hole has been blown through the wall, leaving twisted rebar like badly-kept teeth around a gaping concrete maw.

  224. [2014-04-16 17:16:28] <Little_Gloom> 3The door swings open onto a room filled with lockers and benches, with a single corner dedicated to a worn metal desk. The walls are covered in flaking green and yellow paint and adorned with faded motivational posters. There is strewn detritus on the ground.
  225. [2014-04-16 17:18:31] * Bookwright "Right, time to light up the ol' horn." He focuses inward for a long moment.
  226. [2014-04-16 17:18:37] * Golden_Dream looks around the detrius for anything of value before proceeding to the middle of the room.
  227. [2014-04-16 17:18:59] <Little_Gloom> 3A large doorway gapes open at the far end, the doors having given up on their hinges. The factory floor sprawls beyond, filled with rusting equipment and decaying mixing vats. The factory floor is a filthy white, a solidified pool of goop from leaking vats.

  229. [2014-04-16 17:19:58] * Bookwright wrinkles his nostrils inside his suit. "Ew. Nasty."
  230. [2014-04-16 17:20:10] <Little_Gloom> 3Side doors lead to a set of showers and wash-up facilities. Another side door is locked tight and has a "Clearance Level A Only".
  231. [2014-04-16 17:21:21] * Get_CSI was going to put the helmet back on when another lock is found, sighs and gives up "alright, let's do this...." starts working on the new lock
  232. [2014-04-16 17:22:19] <Little_Gloom> 3The place is gloomy, the shadows deeper and wider than they should be. Lights seem feeble in here. The sunlight from outside barely pierces the window and seems shy entering through the open door. Even the light of Shatara's PipBuck doesn't cut the gloom as well as it should.

  234. [2014-04-16 17:26:48] * CopyCat peers into the blackness. "Don't fear the reaper?"

  236. [2014-04-16 17:28:16] <Little_Gloom> 3Shatara finds three lockers to be locked, and as many rusted shut as are missing their doors altogether. Still, he finds finds four bobby pins, five boxes of cigarettes and nine scattered bottlecaps for his effort, as well as a box of 10mm ammo (contains 21 bullets).
  237. [2014-04-16 17:31:28] <Little_Gloom> 3Get_Lost works her skill on the side door and it clicks open obligingly. Beyond is a hallway ending at a blackened vault door. There are gurney's littering the hallway. And one of the doors long the side of the hall is open, looking into what appears to be an autopsy room.
  238. [2014-04-16 17:32:04] * Golden_Dream blinks, and then whistles lowly. "Wow. That's... Impressive." She muttered.
  239. [2014-04-16 17:32:09] * Get_CSI obviously moves on the lockers "if i start losing my mane i'll blame y-" touches the helmet where the mane should be and sighs "nevermind" tries opening the locked things
  240. [2014-04-16 17:33:19] * Noble_Heart scowls slightly at the state of this place. "This is... I do not know. There is something very wrong here. Even worse than at the school, as hard as that may be to believe."
  241. [2014-04-16 17:34:47] * Shatara passes the pins to the lockpickpone.
  242. [2014-04-16 17:34:53] * Bookwright nods. "This place makes me sick to my stomach, and it's not just the radiation." He starts walking down the hall and turns into the autopsy room.
  243. [2014-04-16 17:34:54] * Golden_Dream does start getting creeped out. "Didn't ya'll hear? Wonderglue is made from ponies." There was no hint of irony in her voice. She totally believed what she was saying.

  245. [2014-04-16 17:36:44] * Shatara nods a bit. "the question is...why?"
  246. [2014-04-16 17:39:08] * Golden_Dream sighs. "My idea's a little weird. Like, rage spirits would want a lot of anger around, right? And spirits of fire would want a lot of fire because that's where they get their power. So spirits of death would want a bunch of dead things around, right?"
  247. [2014-04-16 17:41:36] * CopyCat adds. "Spirits of fire may be fond of passion, too. But your idea certainly makes sense."
  248. [2014-04-16 17:41:51] <Little_Gloom> 3Bookwright's spell is highlighting four records, one of which is in the autopsy room. Turning the corner, he finds the room is much larger than he expected -- a /mass/ autopsy room running the length of the factor, with beds for nearly a hundred ponies to be worked on at once.

[2014-04-16 17:51:57] <Little_Gloom> 3Get_Lost's success with the lockers reveals one with several (3) bottles of Stalliongrad's Finest and more painkillers (5) than could possibly be from a valid prescription. Another has a 10mm pistol (used condition) with a laser site and three boxes of ammo (21, 26 and 28 bullets respectively). The third has a shotgun that is stained an eerie, deep red.
  255. [2014-04-16 17:53:15] * Golden_Dream calls for the shotgun. She'd say that she was a shotgun surgeon, but that had horrible implications due to their surroundings.

  263. [2014-04-16 18:04:14] * Shatara tilts his head at Get_CSI, wondering what has her so spooked. Besides, you know, the whole hack-up-ponies-and-make-them-glue factory thing.
  264. [2014-04-16 18:06:28] <Little_Gloom> 3When Shatara looks up from the shotgun, he finds himself staring into the eyes of Death. The Reaper standing before him is unlike the others. Larger, non-skeletal -- in fact, a sleek musculature lies beneath a slick black coat. It lacks the horn, but instead stands on four legs. It's mane and tail are like black plasma, rippling out behind It.

  266. [2014-04-16 18:08:09] * Noble_Heart eartwitches, then blinks at Golden Dream's words and looks in her direction, heading for the smaller pony quietly. "Yes?"
  267. [2014-04-16 18:09:27] * Golden_Dream instinctively turns to see the chirp. She sort of wished she hadn't. Oh. Oh, wow. "Uh. You must be grandma death." She muttered, giving Noble a comforting hug. She wasn't entirely sure who it was for, her, or Corolla.
  268. [2014-04-16 18:10:55] * CopyCat aims herself roughly at where Shatara and Golden_Dream were seeing the reaper. "Hello Grandma Reaper! Do you have tea and biscuits?"
  269. [2014-04-16 18:11:17] * Noble_Heart lowers herself slightly towards he ground at the surprise hug, gently wrapping a wing around Golden Dream protectively.

She'd thought them through, but now that she was staring into the very eyes of death, they seemed so far away. "Ya'll- Ya'll are th' head of the reapers, right?" She muttered, looking as if she expected to be wrong. She wasn't. "Oh-oh, you are. Um. You have a very pretty mane." She blushed. Oh god....
  273. [2014-04-16 18:16:08] * Golden_Dream ..."... Um, I was wondering something. I... I need to know something, rather." She sighed, fumbling with her words. This is the first time in a long time she's been afraid to speak. "Why... Why can I see you and folk like you?"

  288. [2014-04-16 18:38:16] * Noble_Heart frowns. "I would guess that they're seeing the one who 'invited' us here. The leader of the Reapers. Though beyond that... I have no idea." She scowls slightly.
