She approaches Swift_Hurddle with a smile, carrying a collection of juice powder bags and effervescent vitamin tubes, as well as a half-full bottle of water. She mmphs as it's too much stuff for her to speak anything.
  12. [2015-03-11 20:35:53]* Swift_Hurddle spots rosebee and nudges Camiance pointing the mare out, "Looks like she came through for us, im going to go help her with that so keep hypeing". Jumping down from the table he trots across the room, "hey rosebeen let me help you with that!"
  13. [2015-03-11 20:36:53]* Cambiance grins and continues. "Make sure to show up everypony! Bring your friends and everything. Everypony needs to lighten up a bit, and this is the prefect occasion."

  15. [2015-03-11 20:41:01]<EchoesOfDeath> A pink pegasus teenager trots closer along with her group. "What kind of music are you playing?" One of the other fillies points at Cambiance and says something to a friend of hers
  16. [2015-03-11 20:44:25]<EchoesOfDeath> Rosebee puts all the stuff down. "Thanks! Sooo, how is that going?"
  17. [2015-03-11 20:44:55]* Cambiance grins. "The best club and dancing music we could find! ... The library here was a little small, but we managed to find a few good tracks there."
  18. [2015-03-11 20:46:01]* Swift_Hurddle Bends down and starts to perch the supplies on the small of his back, "Good so far, every pony seems excited!"
  19. [2015-03-11 20:47:38]* Star_Spotter was trotting around in an attempt to ind Golden Leaf
  20. [2015-03-11 20:49:08]<EchoesOfDeath> Swift Hurdle hears the filly saying "Oh yeah! I got one of her mixtapes and it's awesome!"
  21. [2015-03-11 20:50:46]* Swift_Hurddle smiles as he stand up balancing the supplise, "And it sounds like she has fans already! lets go show Cambiance what you grabbed, this stuff looks awesome. Where did you find it all?". Swift leads teh way back to cambaince
  22. [2015-03-11 20:50:52]<EchoesOfDeath> Swift_Hurddle, also hears scattered words from a hushed voice among the crowd. "...worst... waste... do something..."
  23. [2015-03-11 20:51:37]<EchoesOfDeath> Golden Leaf is lying down on the floor of her cell, even though there is a perfectly good bed there.
  24. [2015-03-11 20:58:15]<EchoesOfDeath> The more youthful ponies in the Lobby seem pretty excited. The older ones seem amused and interested. The grey unicorn chimes in again, "So, when is it gonna be?"

How long dose it take to set up sound equipment? we go to soon and it could rub ponies the wrong way but it we wait to long it gives grumps more time to make a stink about it"

  32. [2015-03-11 21:02:48]* Swift_Hurddle grins and nods before looking to Rosebee to see what she thinks
  33. [2015-03-11 21:03:14]* Star_Spotter looks over her. "what's with you, I haven't seen you since we moved over here."
  34. [2015-03-11 21:07:00]<EchoesOfDeath> "It's nothing." Golden Leaf looks away.

  36. [2015-03-11 21:08:08]* Star_Spotter sighs as she moves and sits next to her. "No it isn't but I'm here if you wanna talk."

  38. [2015-03-11 21:09:55]<EchoesOfDeath> Rosebee realizes there is a folder piece of paper on her mane. She didn't notice when it got there.

  42. [2015-03-11 21:12:25]* Swift_Hurddle raises a hoof in the air and hoof pumps, "that is right is going to be! Loosen up those dancing legs and let our manes down for the first time in a while!"

  44. [2015-03-11 21:13:32]* Cambiance hoof pumps along with Swift. "Hell yeah! It's gonna be great!"
  45. [2015-03-11 21:14:10]<EchoesOfDeath> Some of the ponies seem to bounce in excitement
  46. [2015-03-11 21:14:58]<EchoesOfDeath> Rosebee opens the paper and looks around. "Raven?"
  47. [2015-03-11 21:15:48]<EchoesOfDeath> She could spot no Raven, so Rosebee shrugs and starts reading.
  48. [2015-03-11 21:17:14]* Star_Spotter nods as she pets Golden Leaf softly.
  49. [2015-03-11 21:18:04]* Swift_Hurddle Calls out to the crowd, "Arlight that is what we like to hear! Anypony wants to sign up for party planing or just lend a hoof step up and the rest of you feel free to spread the word!"
  50. [2015-03-11 21:18:26]<EchoesOfDeath> Golden Leaf lets out a single quiet sob and leans against Star_Spotter.
  51. [2015-03-11 21:19:21]* Star_Spotter slowly holds her, petting her shoulder softly. "I know. Let it all out."

  54. [2015-03-11 21:23:22]* Star_Spotter pets softly. "It's not that, theres somethings that we just can't fully control Leaf."

  56. [2015-03-11 21:26:22]<EchoesOfDeath> "...it's not how life should be. Everything is wrong." Golden Leaf looks at Star_Spotter with teary eyes.
  57. [2015-03-11 21:27:06]* Star_Spotter looks at her back. "It is, but it's up to us to try to make things right again, so no one has to go through what you or any of us have again." She says looking her in the eyes
  58. [2015-03-11 21:29:51]* Backlash waves to Swift_Hurddle from the crowd - it looks like she wants him to come off to the side to talk in private.
  59. [2015-03-11 21:31:33]* Swift_Hurddle waves before looking to Cambiance, "hey give me a moment?", trotting over to Miss Backlash he thanks Rosebee again as he trots away. pushing through the crowd he smiles, "Hey whats up? You hear the word already about our sick party tommorow night?"
  60. [2015-03-11 21:33:29]<EchoesOfDeath> Golden Leaf leans more against Star_Spotter, her deep sorrow comforted by the mare's gentle aura. She looks at her, with lost eyes. "...what can I even do anymore?"
  61. [2015-03-11 21:34:16]<Star_Spotter> "You can help." She says with a smile. "You know plants right? Well why don't you help me with trying to make a garden safe from the zombies?"
  62. [2015-03-11 21:37:12]* Backlash 's smile turns melds to shock, then concern. "S-sick party? ...For who?"
  63. [2015-03-11 21:40:17]<EchoesOfDeath> Golden Leaf thinks and her eyes seem to regain some light. "...I think I could help with that"
  64. [2015-03-11 21:41:47]* Star_Spotter smiles happily as she sits next to her. "I'm lousy with plants, but I know you're good, and if we all work together, we could do some real good for this base."

  67. [2015-03-11 21:44:14]* Swift_Hurddle tilts his face and looks puzzled before realizing, laughing he pats Backlash on the sholder. "OH! hahaha, sorry my bad Backlash. Um I mean its going to be really fun! Just a bit of slang, sorry for the confusion"
  68. [2015-03-11 21:48:01]<Backlash> "Ah! Oh, yeah... heh. It looks like everypony's ready to have some fun. It's a real good thing you're doin'." She gave him a warm smile and paced slowly. She seemed to forget they were talking for just a second before continuing, "Where'd Rosebee get off to? She's got party stuff too, right?" She stared into the crowd.
  69. [2015-03-11 21:49:54]* Swift_Hurddle turns and points to the mare who, when he last saw her moments ago, was reading a letter, "Over there, said something about Raven and was looking at a note I think?"
  70. [2015-03-11 21:53:14]<Backlash> "Huh, okay." She turned back to him with another smile. "What're you two gonna do now that you got the party all set up? ...Or is there still stuff to do? Heh, I'll be honest, I never really been in a party before... seems exciting."
  71. [2015-03-11 21:54:37]<EchoesOfDeath> "Huh?! Oh! But... so that's... oh, wow." Rosebeet is rather red right now.
  72. [2015-03-11 21:55:26]* Swift_Hurddle look suprised, "Never been to a party? wow um well then you DEFINATELY have to come. we were going to see if we could teach raven and rosebeee to dance before it started, you want some pointers as.... um, what is up with rosebee?"

  76. [2015-03-11 21:58:59]<EchoesOfDeath> Raven glances at her and nods to the door, trotting out of the Lounge. Swift_Hurddle didn't know she was even there until that moment.
  77. [2015-03-11 22:00:07]* Backlash sneaks a peek in Rosebee's direction. "I dunno. She looks...?" Backlash looks back to Swift as he looks away. "What the heck's goin' on?"
  78. [2015-03-11 22:00:17]* Swift_Hurddle tilts his head
  79. [2015-03-11 22:00:30]<EchoesOfDeath> "Raven? Uh..." Rosebee hesitates a bit, then trots after her.
  80. [2015-03-11 22:00:46]* Swift_Hurddle eyes go wide, "oh, Oh, OOOOH I think I know"
  81. [2015-03-11 22:01:54]* Backlash looks back over in consternation. "Where're they goin'? Was that... Raven?" She seems genuinely lost and throws many quizzical looks Swift's way.
  82. [2015-03-11 22:02:54]<EchoesOfDeath> Both the fillies leave the Atrium, Raven beckoning Rosebee.
  83. [2015-03-11 22:05:17]* Swift_Hurddle waits for them to leave before smiling and looking to Backlash, "oh i think they are about to have a long overdue talk, hope it gos well for them. Seems like Raven finaly found the courage to talk to Rosebee about how she feels"
  84. [2015-03-11 22:09:28]* Backlash 's eyes go WIDE all at once. "OH! Oh, wow. Gee, wait 'til the end-a the world to do it, huh? Eheheh. Wow. Well. ...Huh." Her planned talk with Rosebee later that night suddenly has the potential to become a lot more interesting - and she quite visibly doesn't particularly like this kind of interesting.

  86. [2015-03-11 22:15:07]<EchoesOfDeath> Golden Leaf hugs Star_Spotter. "I think my son would like your students."
  87. [2015-03-11 22:15:48]* Star_Spotter smiles happily. "I'm glad you think so." She giggles.
  88. [2015-03-11 22:18:44]* Backlash blushes - hard to tell, but hey - and scolds him with a grin, "Swift!"
  89. [2015-03-11 22:19:54]* Swift_Hurddle continues to snicker, "WHAT? its true, it took me a while to get why Raven was so mad at me but seriously they would make a cute couple"
  90. [2015-03-11 22:22:42]* Backlash 's blush subsides, but she's still half-grinning. "That's so wrong! They're in... well, I dunno. I don't get how you can talk about it like that. How'd you feel if somepony was whispering about you and -your- somepony, huh? Wouldn't that be weird?"
  91. [2015-03-11 22:28:07]* Swift_Hurddle smiles, "What, somepony talking about me? Was it someone I know?"
  92. [2015-03-11 22:29:11]<EchoesOfDeath> Golden Leaf nuzzles Star_Spotter. "Thanks. I don't think I would still be here if you didn't help me."
  93. [2015-03-11 22:31:24]* Backlash takes on a confident smile, but averts her gaze. "Nah. Jus' a thought. You see Star lately?"
  94. [2015-03-11 22:33:33]* Swift_Hurddle looks to backlash at the sudden topic change, "Umm... not much since we got here, last time was the cafateri- no wait, we saw her in the Library I think"
  95. [2015-03-11 22:38:22]* Backlash raises a brow and smiles wider. "She's settin' up that garden-thing with that Tidy buck, but I ain't seen her in a while either. Heh, too bad I don't know nearly as much about gardening as I do about foraging, or I'd be tryin' to help her. She don't strike me as the teaching type... not in a bad way, y'know, she's just very -interesting-. Got a lotta things goin' on with her."
  96. [2015-03-11 22:42:10]* Swift_Hurddle lifts a brow, "Ummmm... I guess? wait, are you trying to say that you and her?-"
  97. [2015-03-11 22:46:28]* Backlash experiences a passing moment of existential terror. "WHAT! No! Luna 'bove, you colts really do only think about sex! ...No, I was jus' thinking, I wasn't expecting her to be so damn sassy. She's got the brains to back it up, too, and that's scary." Backlash smiles again. "But I got somethin' she ain't got." She shifts side-to-side in place, practically brimming with excitement, and smiles at Swift expectantly.
  98. [2015-03-11 22:51:04]* Swift_Hurddle Laughs at this and after his giggles subsides whipes a tear from his face, "Ok Ill bite, what is up?
  99. [2015-03-11 23:01:42]<Backlash> "Wellllll... she's just too loud. She talks so dang much, she's real good at it, but she can't keep quiet for five seconds. But me... the guards hired me to scavenge -inside- the prison. Y'know, in the /condemned/ areas." She waggles her brows to emphasize the special word.
  100. [2015-03-11 23:03:20]* Swift_Hurddle smiles, "Oh nice, that was fast! from the way the ponies here talked about it before it sounded like it would take an act of Celestia to get on a team"
  101. [2015-03-11 23:06:09]<Backlash> "Well, it helps if you got the qualifications. I just hope I can be-a good use in here. I ain't much good with anything else, may as well, right?"
  102. [2015-03-11 23:07:09]* Swift_Hurddle Smiles and nods, "For sure, im sure a tough pony like you will have im impressed in no time... though I have to admit you talk about star an aweful lot"
  103. [2015-03-11 23:14:05]<Backlash> "I ain't tough. An', yeah, it's kinda hard to keep a pony like her off my mind. She's like, everything I hate. I mean, I don't -hate- her, y'know? It's just... different."
  104. [2015-03-11 23:15:40]* Swift_Hurddle taps a hoof to his chin, "Hum ok so there is a special pony that you dont hate which you cant get out of your mind, boy that sounds similar to a certain emotion. Speaking of which, is that a bit of blush I see?"

  106. [2015-03-11 23:26:24]* Backlash stares blankly. She probably wasn't blushing before, but she definitely is now. "What? Eheh, I'd be amazed if you could even tell."
  107. [2015-03-11 23:28:42]* Swift_Hurddle grins, "It IS blush, You big talker you have SO have a massive crush on her!"
  108. [2015-03-11 23:36:01]* Backlash blushes harder as the grin drops away. "No, I don't. She just pulls my strings, she's a bully. That's it." She doesn't look happy, but she's clearly restraining herself from saying more.
  109. [2015-03-11 23:41:08]* Swift_Hurddle holds up a hoof and tries to look disarming, "Gosh um sorry I didnt mean to upset you, Um I guess I was out of line. do-... do you want to step out of the commons and talk you seem upset"
  110. [2015-03-11 23:47:12]* Backlash hisses, "I'm not -upset-." She seems to realize how close her face has gotten to Swift's over the past few seconds, and backs up sheepishly to cool off. "I'm not upset, and I don't care. She's not a nice pony, I don't care what she says. But she's doing something right; I dunno what it is, and it pisses me off that I can't figure it out." She stares off into the corner, breathing carefully.
  111. [2015-03-11 23:49:55]* Swift_Hurddle backs his own head away, "Allllllllright then, um... so I am not sure what you two have been talking about but I have never known Miss start to be a bully"
  112. [2015-03-11 23:53:00]<Backlash> "She just gets in my damn head! Know what I mean? Like the words she says, y'know, almost physically tug at my brain, it's so irritating! I just don't like the way she talks, it feels wrong."
  113. [2015-03-11 23:56:20]* Swift_Hurddle blushes a bit, "Oh um, well ... ya lets step into the hall ok? I am not sure this is a talk to have around other ponies"
  114. [2015-03-11 23:59:33]* Backlash stops him. "No, it's fine." Her ears splay back and she avoids Swift's gaze. "Look, I didn't mean ta snap atcha. I'm sorry. I'm jus'... confused. That's all."
  115. [2015-03-12 00:01:00]* Swift_Hurddle slowly extends a hoof and pats Backalsh on the sholder, "Alright... well if you want to talk we are around, maye you should be up front with Star about how this is making you feel though? Maybe you could work it out"
  116. [2015-03-12 00:05:08]<Backlash> "Tch. Yeah, that's not gonna happen. I jus' wanna see if anypony else knows what I'm talkin' about. It's no fun feelin' like you're alone."
  117. [2015-03-12 00:06:27]* Swift_Hurddle rubs his neck, "Well... I belive you, I just havent noticed it myself-well... maybe, she was pretty forcful with that griffin we met for a while. So how is she mean?"
  118. [2015-03-12 00:08:35]<Backlash> "Oh-hoho, don't get me started on that griffon." She paces a half-circle, shaking her head slowly. "That was a whipped bird if I've ever seen one. No, she just uses her words to, like... push ponies around. I've noticed it."
  119. [2015-03-12 00:14:40]* Swift_Hurddle "Huh, I guess I just never noticed it but she is sort of good with words.... could always talk students into doing stuff. I never saw her mistreating anypony though. Never got to know that griffin to well though, she seems like bad news to me"
  120. [2015-03-12 00:20:12]<Backlash> "Mmm. Anyway, look, I don't mean ta be all doom 'n' gloom, I just... I dunno, I kinda wanna see if anypony can relate. Like, there's gotta be -someone-. You know what I mean?"
  121. [2015-03-12 00:27:39]* Swift_Hurddle pat pats Backlash, "Umm... well i cant say I do but I can ask around"
  122. [2015-03-12 00:31:30]* Backlash sighs and swishes her tail despondently. "Alright. ...Thanks." She glances up at Swift from the ground and attempts a small smile.
  123. [2015-03-12 00:33:21]* Swift_Hurddle tries to offer a wide reasuring smile, "Hey, cheer up, there is a party coming up and you have an awesome asignment to keep your mind of... other things, right?"
  124. [2015-03-12 00:34:59]* Backlash nods. "Yep. That's right." She perks up a little and grins back. "Hey, thanks for listening to me ramble. An', look... don't tell Star, okay? Last thing I need is for her to have -another- thing to hold over my head."
  125. [2015-03-12 00:37:46]* Swift_Hurddle nods and raises a hoof to promis, "I swear"
  126. [2015-03-12 00:41:04]<Backlash> "Thanks, Swift." She reaches in for a tight hug, squeezing him once just to make sure the athlete can even feel her hug.
  127. [2015-03-12 00:41:21]* Swift_Hurddle hugs
  128. [2015-03-12 01:22:12]* Backlash lets go after just a little longer than normal and begins to slink away. "I'll be around, I'm just gonna go for a little walk..."
  129. [2015-03-12 01:25:08]* Swift_Hurddle nods "Do what you have to do Backlash, see you at the party ok?"
  130. [2015-03-12 01:25:43]<Backlash> "Yeah. Seeya later."
  131. [2015-03-12 01:30:22]<EchoesOfDeath> Meanwhile Rosebee is sat by a wall of the large hallways, spinning a coin with her magic.
  132. [2015-03-12 01:32:08]* Backlash spots the filly, lost in her own thoughts, and cautiously trots nearer.
  133. [2015-03-12 01:34:35]<EchoesOfDeath> Rosebee seems too preocupied with her coin to notice.
  134. [2015-03-12 01:35:52]* Backlash clears her throat. "Rosebee?"
  135. [2015-03-12 01:39:31]<EchoesOfDeath> Rosebee blinks and looks at the mare. "Oh, Backlash, hi." She rubs her leg. "Uh, is something wrong?"
  136. [2015-03-12 01:40:41]* Backlash shakes her head and smiles. "No, I just - I said I'd catch up with ya later, well... my bags are back in my room, if you wanna see what I got for you."
  137. [2015-03-12 01:43:32]<EchoesOfDeath> "Oh, right." She pulls herself up and smiles. "Yeah, that would be nice. Uh, thanks for going there for me."
  138. [2015-03-12 01:45:55]<Backlash> "Uh-huh." Backlash leads the way back towards her room. It'd take a little getting used to a cell, but... at least they didn't lock the doors. "I found a lotta stuff you might like."
  139. [2015-03-12 01:51:06]<EchoesOfDeath> "Right, stuff." She follows along, somewhat scatter-minded. "What was it again?"
  140. [2015-03-12 01:52:37]<Backlash> "Well...." She crouches down to her bag - still full to bursting - and pulls open the top, revealing a small assortment of stuffed animals.
  141. [2015-03-12 01:59:07]<EchoesOfDeath> Her face brightens up. She takes a stuffed rabbit and hugs it. "I missed them." She sighs happily. "It still smells like home. Thanks Backlash." She hugs her along with the plushie.
  142. [2015-03-12 02:01:23]* Backlash hugs the filly quickly. "But that's not all. I found this, too-" She reaches down again, and after a little rummaging, hands the travel pamphlet to Rosebee. "This look familiar?"
  143. [2015-03-12 02:07:06]<EchoesOfDeath> "Yeah! That's where my mom went. But I don't know if we can go there with things like this." Rosebee gazes out of the thick window. "She might have won, you know? Her flowers are big and beautiful, and they smell great." She sighs. "I hope she is okay. Things are so different now..." She pauses and glances back out of the door.
  144. [2015-03-12 02:11:24]<Backlash> "As long as she's somewhere that ain't here, I'm hopeful. It'll all be good, Rosebee. And... um." She dangles a small pouch by one hoof and holds it out toward Rosebee, careful to keep the filly between it and the doorway.

I can do -one- pony, jus' me, or jus' you. It sounds like you guys had a really... a really fun time together. I'd say, just be the best friend you can be. Talk to Raven, tell her how you feel and what you think. You guys already share a -lot-, well, you know each other better than I ever will.

What I meant to say is... you got something really special with Raven that I never had. I jus' don't know what to say, when I was your age, I was... alone. I'm not mad at you, nothin' like that, I jus' wish I knew more I could do to help. But, whatever you end up doin', I'm with you all the way." She puts an apology in her smile, and waits for Rosebee
