  21.
  22. Team voice
  23.
  24. “Right!”
  25.
  26. Audio from TV fades out, Hansel VO
  27.
  28. “I've seen this show too many times. The characters are flat, the dialogue is cheesy... How many times are they going to re-use the same fighting animation anyway?”
  29.
  30. Audio from TV fades back in
  31.
  32. “Now it's time for us to defeat you, villain! You will learn the true power of our teamwork only true friends with tru-”
  33.
  34. The audio is cut off as the VHS tape gets caught, film spewing from the VHS player and messing up the show. Hansel just sighs in disappointment, hanging his head.
  35.
  36. “Not again...”
  37.
  38. Scene transitions downstairs to mother character, washing dishes while humming, phone rings soon afterwards and she goes to get it.
  39.
  40. Mom
  41.
  42. “Hello, this is Hansel's mom speaking?”
  43.
  44. Junichi over the phone, very casually
  45.
  46. “Oka-san! Is Hansel-kun home?”
  47.
  48. Mom, happily responding
  49.
  50. “Junichi-kun! Just a moment please.”
  51.
  52. Scene transitions back to Hansel hanging his head down, looking dejected
  53.
  54. Mom VO from downstairs
  55.
  56. “Hansel! Junichi is on the phone!”
  57.
  58. Hansel, responding without moving just yet
  59.
  60. “Coming!”
  61.
  62. Hansel gets up, moves out his room, scene transitions to downstairs where Mom is talking and laughing with Junichi on the phone, Hansel arrives and she hands off the phone to Hansel, maybe the top of a dog can be seen walking about
  63.
  64. Hansel, talking to Junichi with a bit of irritation due to his VHS player malfunctioning again
  65.
  66. “Yeah?”
  67.
  68. Scene transitions over to Junichi, in the video store, looking at a girly magazine with some kids in the background toying with some videos in the aisles
  69.
  70. “Oi! Hansel! I got something you're gonna love. Come down to the store will you?”
  71.
  72. Hansel, over the phone
  73.
  74. “Now? I need to fix my CHS player - It ate another copy of Park Rangers right as it was getting to the goo-
  75.
  76. Junichi, interrupting as he yells over at the kids who just tipped over a few cases of movies onto the floor
  77.
  78. “HEY! YOU PICK THAT UP RIGHT NOW!”
  79.
  80. Scene transitions back to Hansel standing there with the phone, eyes a bit wide at the sudden shouting but still remaining apathetic, Junichi still over the phone
  81.
  82. “Ah sorry about that. But yeah forget that. You're gonna love this. Get over here, I'll be waiting.”
  83.
  84. The phone hangs up before Hansel can respond, he sighs, hanging the phone back up as he talks over his shoulder to Mom.
  85.
  86. “Guess I'm going to go down to the store. Junichi has something to show me.”
  87.
  88. His mother smiles over to him from the sink where she went back to washing dishes
  89.
  90. “Oh? Well have a safe trip. We're having pork tonight, so don't be gone too long.”
  91.
  92. Hansel responds passively as he is getting ready, putting on his shoes and leaving the house.
  93.
  94. Scene transitions to him outside, walkman in hand as he holds it a moment, hits play, and music plays on his headphones while he walks to the store.
  95.
  96. Scene transitions progressively while introductory credits show up during the scene.
  97.
  98. Scene ends when Hansel strolls up to the shop, music ending when the door to the shop bursts open with the two kids from earlier tumbling out and running away with a hollering Junichi yelling at them with his hand over his head, the music still faintly being heard as if listening to them from the perspective of someone not actually wearing the headphones
  99.
  100. “Yeah that's right! Don't you come back or I'll have to get serious next time!”
  101.
  102. Hansel, stunned a moment, finally hits stop on his walkman and pulls his headphones down to his neck
  103.
  104. “So uh... you had something to show me?”
  105.
  106. Junichi, turning to realize Hansel was standing there the whole time
  107.
  108. “Oh! Hansel! Yeah come in come in.”
  109.
  110. Junichi leads him into the store, scene transitions to inside where Junichi hops over the counter and pulls out a dirty looking box, plopping it down on the counter in front of Hansel
  111.
  112. Junichi holds his arms proudly at his sides, Hansel looking perplexed
  113.
  114. Hansel
  115.
  116. “Err.. what is it?”
  117.
  118. Junichi responds confidently, scene transitioning mid-VO to the paper with the ad on it
  119.
  120. “I won it in a contest. There was an ad and all I had to do was call in and answer some question about that Park Rangers show you told me about. I didn't think it'd actually show but hey, here it is!”
  121.
  122. Hansel repeats his question, more confused than before
  123.
  124. “But uh.. what 'is' it?”
  125.
  126. Junichi, realizing the box is still sealed begins opening it
  127.
  128. “Oh! Well!”
  129.
  130. Junichi pulls out a brand new DVD player, placing it down onto the counter
  131.
  132. Hansel, surprised, inspecting it closely
  133.
  134. “Woah! A CVD player? We don't even have any in the shop yet.”
  135.
  136. Junichi, proudly once more
  137.
  138. “Yup! I think it's the only one in town actually, nobody carries them just yet. And wait! There's more.”
  139.
  140. Junichi says, sliding out a copy of Sailor Sun from underneath the box
  141.
  142. “I got this for you too, for letting me know about the show in the first place.”
  143.
  144. Hansel, bug eyed, ayyying the video and player, then Junichi
  145.
  146. “Wait, for me? You're giving me Sailor Sun? Why?”
  147.
  148. Junichi responds, patting Hansel's head with a bold grin
  149.
  150. “I wouldn't have even known about the show to begin with if it weren't for you. So, you can have it. You'd get more use out of it than me anyway.”
  151.
  152. Hansel, fixing his hair, looking a bit embarrassed thanks Junichi, unsure of how to express himself, maybe a hint of blush?
  153.
  154. “Th-.. thank you.”
  155.
  156. Junichi nods, looking over his shoulder at the videos strewn across the floor of the store
  157.
  158. “Now if you want to thank me, let's get to work. Those little shits were at it again. You ready?”
  159.
  160. Hansel, turning his head over his shoulder to look at the mess, then back to Junichi, a smile at his lips, happy to help
  161.
  162. “Alright!”
  163.
  164. Scene transitions to outside of the store, random couple walking by, fade out with sounds of them cleaning and talking back and forth to each other casually.
  165.
  166. Scene cuts back in to Hansel, back in his room, DVD player in hand as he moves aside his broken VHS player, beginning to set it up, the copy of Sailor Sun is beside it. He goes to plug it in with cord in hand before being interrupted by his mother from downstairs
  167.
  168. “Dinner's ready!”
  169.
  170. Hansel, putting dropping the cord, not plugging it in just yet, leaves the room
  171.
  172. “Coming!”
  173.
  174. Scene transitions to the dinner table, only two seats, mom dishing up as Hansel sits down at the table before casually petting Penny the dog while walking by her
  175.
  176. The two begin to eat, the usual Itadakimasu shit goes down, Mom casually brings up conversation after they take a bite or two
  177.
  178. “So what did Junichi want anyway?”
  179.
  180. Hansel, tossing a small bit of meat down to the begging Penny beside him, responds
  181.
  182. “He won a contest actually.”
  183.
  184. Scene transitions down to the perspective of the dog, the dialogue still being heard from the two talking as the dog walks off and up to Hansel's room
  185.
  186. Mom in the distance
  187.
  188. “Really?! Oh that's so exciting!”
  189.
  190. Hansel, even more distant as the dog is now upstairs
  191.
  192. “Yeah. It was a new CVD player. He actually-”
  193.
  194. Hansel is cut off as the scene transitions to his room, the dog walking in with the food in her mouth, settling down in the on Hansel's bed and going to eat the pork.
  195.
  196. Closer look of dog eating the food for a moment, muffled conversation between Mom and Hansel filling the silence as a faint glow begins to cast from the right side of the frame where the DVD player is
  197.
  198. Dog looks up, blinking at the visuals and goes to bark
  199.
  200. As the bark happens scene shifts over to Hansel and Mom eating, hearing the bark from upstairs, a bit muffled but still audible, their plates almost finished, mom continues their conversation
  201.
  202. “Oh! Reina stopped by earlier. I told her you'd be back soon but I think she had to go somewhere.”
  203.
  204. Hansel responds absent-mindedly as he continues eating
  205.
  206. “I see.”
  207.
  208. Mom, continuing
  209.
  210. “You used to be such good friends. What ever happened to the two of you?”
  211.
  212. Hansel, shrugging his shoulders
  213.
  214. “People just grow apart I guess.”
  215.
  216. He finishes his plate, Mom looking a bit saddened at his words before he gets up and takes his empty plate in hand, brings glass of soda with him from table
  217.
  218. Scene transitions up to the stairs where Hansel calls back to his mother
  219.
  220. “Thank you for dinner!”
  221.
  222. As he is walking Penny runs by, looking scared and darts downstairs
  223.
  224. Hansel, looking confused, enters his room, standing there a moment before flicking on the lightswitch and seeing nothing wrong
  225.
  226. Hansel
  227.
  228. “Huh..”
  229.
  230. He then notices the DVD player and the disc on the ground, remembering and going to finish setting it up. Puts glass of soda on desk. He plugs it in, inserts the disc, sits down onto the floor, and hits play on the remote
  231.
  232. Scene transitions to him sitting there, facing the camera, lit only by the light of the TV
  233.
  234. Transitions to the TV, Hansel still in frame, Sailor Sun begins to play the intro, transitions into the actual show
  235.
  236. Sailor Sun episode 1 stuff
  237.
  238. Sailor Sun freeze frame, cuts back to Hansel being confused, trying to hit the play button on the remote a few times
  239.
  240. While he is pressing the button purple sparks begin to fly out from the DVD player, a purple glow filling the room as Hansel begins to become startled at the turn of events. Starts crawling towards the DVD player frantically to try and fix it
  241.
  242. Then suddenly it cuts out and there is no light (screen is black), soon a thud is heard in behind him,
  243.
  244. Hansel says “Huh?”
  245.
  246. After a few seconds the light flashes on again, whole room scene, Hansel focusing on his DVD player, wardrobe opened, fox girl on floor in front of it.
  247.
  248. He sighs after a few moments, unsure of how to fix it. Gets up casually, turns around and begins to walk away when he feels his foot connect with something.
  249.
  250. Shot of foot connecting with side boob of fox girl on ground complete with traditional boing audio effect of course.
  251.
  252. He looks down, notices the fox girl now and is stunned in silent surprise. Eyes wide in confusion.
  253.
  254. He stands there awkwardly, trying to say something but comes up short because this shit is mad fuckin' ecchi weird yo.
  255.
  256. Awkwardly side steps around, trying to maintain distance as he silently backsteps towards the door.
  257.
  258. Opens, exits, closes door, and quietly walks downstairs.
  259.
  260. Mother is sitting down at the dinner table doing a jigsaw puzzle, Hansel walks up behind hereee silently with a large blush on his face, quietly stating
  261.
  262. “Mom there's an animal girl in my room. I need you to handle it.”
  263.
  264. Mom, working on the puzzle, thinks he is just joking and casually brushes it to the side.
  265.
  266. “Not right now honey I'm in the middle of this. I'm almost done actually, but this one piece here... there it is!”
  267.
  268. She says as she puts another piece into the puzzle, Hansel behind her hanging his head in defeat as he turns around sadly to go back upstairs.
  269.
  270. Hansel enters his room cautiously, looking at the girl still passed out. He sits there thinking of what to do, scratching his head as he goes over ideas of removing her. As he is in thought she slowly starts to wake up.
  271.
  272. Once her eyes open to see Hansel stupidly standing there, she snaps into 'ayyy gonna fuck you up' feral mode and goes on the attack.
  273.
  274. He knocks her back before she comes in again and tackles him to the ground next to his desk. They tussle and tussle and tussle and tussle and tussle and tussle and tussle and tussle and tussle and tussle and tussle and the desk is knocked around, knocking the glass down onto her head, spilling soda on her head.
  275.
  276. During the attack she tastes some of his as it gets to her lips.
  277.
  278. Scene shows Hansel's face covered his hands, cowering before the intensity dies down. He lowers his arms and opens it eyes to see the subdued fox girl atop of him, eying him all hot n shit like.
  279.
  280. Coca
  281.
  282. “I like it.”
  283.
  284. Mom bursts into the room, surprised by the sound and is startled to see a girl on top of her son, which totally looks all anime misunderstanding like
  285.
  286. “Oh! Hansel I didn't know you had company over..”
  287.
  288. Coca turns to face mom over her shoulder, Hansel looks over to her, blushing all anime like.
  289.
  290. Hansel
  291.
  292. “M-mom no u-”
  293.
  294. Coca, interrupting
  295.
  296. “Can I have some more?”
  297.
  298. Mom
  299.
  300. “More?”
  301.
  302. Coca points to the glass and then to herself that is covered in that sticky icky icky shit.
  303.
  304. Mom
  305.
  306. “Oh, you're a mess! Let's get you cleaned up.”
  307.
  308. Coca, nodding and getting off Hansel like ain't nobody's problem and goes off with mom who is totally chill with this weird sticky fox girl situation.
  309.
  310. Hansel, stunned in even more confusion, gets up and stands there, unsure of what the hell just happens.
  311.
  312. While standing, shot in the background of the CVD player sparking back into functionality and resuming the episode of Sailor Sun while Hansel stands there, watching.
  313.
  314. Shot of him just standing there, covered in soda himself, empty glass of the ground, as the show progresses on with the show's audio filling silence.
  315.
  316. As it begins to hit the climax, audio of Hansel speaking as it hits the end
  317.
  318. Hansel VO
  319.
  320. “...what?”
