Unforeseen Consequences - Thorax, king of indigestions

>The cultist leader stood up from her throne, and with an air of malevolence, she raised her front hooves and exclaimed “MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS!” Her voice thundered across the entire forest “THE TIME IS NOW! BRING ME THE SLAVES!”
>Like clockwork, the cultist that were guarding the cages formed a corridor that lead right into the bizarre altar and more specifically, that nasty cauldron.
>Two cloaked ponies were stirring whatever substance the cult was cooking in there, while five different cultists went to open the cages and forcefully pull the scared foals out of them.
>Some of the captured ponies did try to resist, but their opposition was quickly shut down. They simply lacked enough strength to go against the cultists and their numbers.
>Meanwhile, the creepy mare was overseeing everything from her throne, while the rest of her followers chanted King Sombra’s name at a maddening frantic pace.
>Which meant they were too distracted to see you coming! Alright! Time to get your flank moving!
>The cult leader laughed at the whole scene as she laid back on her throne and exclaimed with her thunderous voice “MY LITTLE PONIES, THERE IS NO NEED TO FEAR. SOON YOU SHALL REALIZE THE GLORY OF THE RULER OF THIS WORLD. KING SOMBRAAAAAAiiiieeeh!”
>*KRAKOOM*

>You weren’t really sure what they hey did you hit… but nonetheless, you slid down the snow dune and with a very arrogant attitude, you started walking to where you thought the altar was.
“Would you look at that?”
>You said with a smug tone.
“For such evil-looking ponies, you guys really lose your cool very quickly.”
>It was then when the cult leader spoke from beyond the cloud of snow “It seems like the so called Prince is not the coward that we thought he was… and he also has a commendable skill with magic. Mmmm! He will make quite the addition to our association.”
>A whole lot of green eyes appeared in the cloud of snow, before it quickly dissipated in a strong gust that almost made you fall back.
>Yep, you didn’t hit the altar, and now you had the entire cult standing in front of you, with their leader at the front.
>“Take my advice and surrender now” The cult leader said with a calm tone “That will make the experience less painful to you”.
>You arrogantly shrugged and shook your head
“I think that I’ll pass on your silly offer. Blasting your ugly face with my magic sounds way more fun”

>“It also seems like you are not a very bright colt” The cult leader raised an eyebrow as she looked at you with a disgusted face “Heroism and honor is useless against a foe like us. If you really want to fight, then so be it, but you will be facing all of us on your own”
“Heroism? Me? Lady, I don’t know what that goo you drank had, but you really should stop using it. Not only you’re still ugly, but it also messed up your brain pretty badly”
>“Your poor attempts at humor during a hopeless situation like this only serve to show how weak you really are.” The cult leader said with a stoic face. She then motioned her followers to move “Get him and don’t give him the love poison until he has seen all of his friends bow to our King. I want the colt to suffer for his arrogance.”
>The entire cult charged at you, ready to grind you to itty bitty pony bits… too bad that their attack was quickly cut off.
>*KRAKOOM*
>A new ball of magic came from behind you and right into the altar, making it to crumble down.
>The cult and their leader stopped dead on their tracks as they saw with horror that the object of their admiration was now gone.
>The cult leader immediately screamed “MY KING! NOOOOOO!” She the shot a murderous glare at you before galloping to where the altar used to be.
>As the creepy mare frantically searched through the rubble, you let out a very arrogant laugh and said.

“Geez, Lady! You gotta chill-out! All of that physical work is seriously gonna ruin your fur… well… more than what it already is.”
>“My King! I have found you!” The cult leader said when she found the crimson curved blade among the rubble. She then hugged it dearly before shooting a murderous glare at you “You will pay for what you have done!”
“Oh, c’mon! You can’t just go around and blaming me for your dumbness. If you had made your homework, you would’ve known something very important about me…
>In that moment, Celestia landed in front of you, her furious glare was enough to make the entire cult to back off.
“… I never fight solo.”
>The cult leader gasped in shock “The false ruler is here?! But… HOW?!” She then narrowed her eyes at you and growled “May you suffer a thousand curses! May your body…! AAAAAAAH!”
>Celestia was quick to shut her up by shooting a laser that barely went above her head. She extended her wings and charged her horn, then she addressed the cult leader with a menacing tone “Silence, you worm! I have had enough of your non-sense! You shall immediately release all the ponies that you have captured or I will personally take care in destroying all of you!”

>The creepy mare adopted a defensive stance, her face was filled with contempt “We are all prepared to make the ultimate…” But her defiance transformed into shock when she looked back at her followers “What?”
>Not wanting to take a chance against Celestia, a couple of cultists rushed to where the foals were, broke their chains and basically yelled them to get the heck out immediately.
>“What do you think that you are doing?!” The cult leader barked “Get those ponies back into their cages and defend our King from the false ruler!”
>“Are you crazy?! We can’t fight an alicorn!” One of the cultist said as he took off his robe and threw it away “I like King Sombra and all, but this is a bit too much. I’m out, dude.”
>He wasn’t the only one who deflected, a whole lot of cultists just threw their robes and started galloping away.
>”Yeah, I ain’t gonna get my fur burned for this. I’m out”
>”I should’ve listened to my mom and get a job.”
>”It’s not like there are hot chicks here anyway”
>The creepy mare growled and stomped her hoof on the ground as she looked at her plan and part of her precious cult crumbling before her eyes.
“Really cool cult you have here, lady! I’m really, really impressed!”
>“Fine! Be that way! King Sombra doesn’t have any of use for cowards like you in his glorious army” The creepy mare yelled she then motioned at the cultists who decided to stay “My brothers and sisters! This shall mark a glorious day for all of us! We will prove to our King that…!”
>Celestia made another warning shot, causing the cult leader to duck and cover her head with her hooves.
>“There’s no glory for you, worm!” Celestia said “None of you pathetic insects are match for me! Get out of my sight before I make you pay for what you were planning to do to my friend, Anon!”

>“Wait a minute… friend?” The creepy mare raised an eyebrow as she looked at Celestia with curiosity “Isn’t he your son?”
>Celestia looked a bit confused “Err…” but she quickly regained her composure “I have no need to answer questions from garbage like… like… hnnnng!” Celestia’s face distorted in pain…
>Oh, no… please, not now.
“Uh… mom? Is there something wrong?”
>Celestia gave you a forced smile as she held her stomach “N-Nothing is wrong! I-I just got a little sick from having to endure scum like this!”
>“Scum? What?” The cult leader tilted her head as she took a step forward “Something is not right here. Since when are you this ruthless?”
>“Hnnng…” Celestia cleared her throat and then she looked down at the cult leader “I have always behaved like this, it’s just that an irrelevant and pitiful pony like you would never know that!”
>The cult leader tilted her head back and said with annoyance “That’s nothing but a lie! We have battled numerous times in the past and you have never behaved like this! Where is your annoying sassy attitude? Where are all the taunts that you throw at every opportunity? Where are all of those insufferable cheesy one-liners and puns that make me want to puke my guts out? So far, only that annoying brat has acted like the actual false ruler!”
>“Uhhm…” Celestia took a step back, but fighting back against her pain, she shot another laser “You really think that I would act so calmly when you’re threatening the safety of my son?! You dwelled into territories that are beyond my patience! AND YOU SHALL KNOW THE POWER OF MY WRATH!”

>Celestia’s horn glowed with so much intensity that it made you cover your eyes. Whatever she was going to cast, it surely was going to pack a punch.
>But… the blast never came, the pain was now too much for Celestia to endure. She had dropped to the snowy ground and was rubbing her stomach “My… indigestion… is coming back…”
>You slapped your face and embraced yourself for yet another failed plan.
“Oh, man… we were so close”
>For you see, Celestia suddenly got engulfed in a pale blue flame, revealing none other than your friend Thorax… who let out the mightiest belch you’ve ever heard “Heh, heh! Hi there, everypony! Hope you enjoyed my impersonation of Princess Celestia! heh…”
>You were looking at Thorax with a stoic face, and replied with a similar tone.
“You mean your impersonation of Chrysalis. No wonder why Queen Psycho demoted you from spy to patrol… Gotta give you props though. Your acting sucks as bad as my mom’s.”
>Thorax quickly stood up and rushed to your side, he had a very disappointed look on his face “I-I’m really sorry, Anon… this is all my fault.”
