  6. - As a note for PS4 because of the load and frame rate differences most things are easier but some are a LOT harder, dodge roll has had some major changes and can no longer carry you over lips, ledges, and rails.

  24. - You can also press start to exit out of the menu faster, so it's good to memorize what to do each time you have to open the menu.

  26. - Unless it is noted otherwise, always keep the default party!

  28. - PSA for new runners! Leaf Bracer, which is obtained after defeating Dragon Maleficent in a run, stops enemies from breaking Cure ability use. That basically means you cannot get hit by anything while casting and using Cure. Also, it is most likely a good idea to learn how to fight Ansem II without dying, as I've seen most new runners die to Ansem II a lot.

  30. - If you are playing on 4:3 on PS3 there are several scenes throughout that you will get black bars on which indicate that you can skip the scene.

  37. Dive to the Heart
  38. ------------------------------------------

  40. Snow White Platform: Move forward, then choose the Staff and sacrifice the Shield
  41.  
  42. Cinderella Platform: After you skip some cut scenes, defeat a Shadow that's right next to you.
  43. Mash text and move to the right corner of dress. Skip another cut scene, then defeat all Shadows.
  44.  
  45. Alice Platform: Examine the Door
  46. Open the Chest (hold back and spam jump to try and get closer to the box)
  47. Do an aerial combo on the box, then do a ground combo (or air if practiced) on the barrel (you can jump back toward the door if you air combo).

  50. Destiny Islands: Talk to Selphie and choose the top option. (My prize possessions.)
  51. Talk to Tidus and choose the top option. (Being indecisive.)
  52. Talk to Wakka and choose the top option.

  54. Aurora Platform: Go straight, skip a cut scene, then fight all Shadows.
  55. Approach the save point. You want to be as close as possible to the save point when it appears.

  57. - MENU 1: Items -> Stock -> Use all Power Ups and all Defense Ups

  59. Go up to the Beauty and the Beast platform and fight Darkside I 4 full combos kills him, so just spam aerial combos after his initial hit.
  60. You can also hit the head for tech points so you kill 2 less soldiers before guard armor.

  69. Seashore (Day 1): Go left and get the 1st Log
  70. Make your way up to the Cloth

  75. After getting the Cloth, jump on the tree, then jump to the path leading to the Rope
  76. Jump into the water and run toward the back of the island, jump when you get close to the trigger point for swimming (timing the jump takes practice).
  77. Mash O to swim faster, climb the ladder for the 2nd Log near Riku
  78. Go talk to Kairi to end Day 1

  80. Seashore (Day 2): Hold left after skipping the 4th cut scene to go into the water and get 3 Fish
  81. Enter the Secret Place and get the Mushroom (walk a little past to make sure you get it)
  82. Go back outside and get the Seagull Egg on top of the tree
  83. Hit the tree on the way down to try for a coconut (Aka TAS coconut)
  84. Enter the door to the Cove where Kairi was on Day 1

  86. Cove (Day 2): Talk to Riku, then just press Start + X/O to name your ship.
  87. Race Riku
  88. Push the Boulder and get the Mushroom
  89. Attack the tree that is in front of Kairi and get 2 Coconuts (1 if you got TAS)
  90. Talk to Kairi to get the Empty Bottle
  91. Get the Mushroom left of the ladder
  92. Jump right of the bridge to get the Drinking Water
  93. Talk to Kairi twice to end Day 2
  94.  
  95. Seashore (Heartless Attack): Approach Riku where he was on Day 1
  96. Enter the Secret Place, approach Kairi, and fight Darkside II
  97.  
  98. Island Remains (Darkside II): Do a combo when you are able to attack his right hand (side is simply preference here)
  99. Start spamming aerial combos once he puts his hands out.
  100. 6 combos and 1 hit kills him this time around

  109. 1st District: Go towards the entrance to the Accessory Shop and mash the text
  110. Try to enter the 2nd District, go through two text boxes, then enter the 2nd District.

  112. 2nd District: Defeat 5 Shadows, enter the Accessory Shop in the 1st District, then exit to fight Leon.
  113.  
  114. 1st District (Leon): He can start by either jumping towards you or by using Fire
  115. If he jumps at you, then do 2 hits, 2 hits, then a full combo
  116. Dodge his slash or get hit, then do 2 hits followed by full combo to finish him off.
  117. If he uses Fire, run and jump over it, then do above combos

  123. Talk to Yuffie then grab the Elixir from the chest on the table
  124. Talk to Leon, then kill 3 soldiers (1 if you hit Darkside 1’s head)
  125. go straight to the 3rd District to fight some Soldiers and Guard Armor.

  127. 3rd District: Soldiers can be killed in 2 hits and press Triangle to order Donald and Goofy to attack
  128. Just spam aerial combos on Guard Armor until you start seeing his body parts break
  129. Break the other body parts, use the Potion from dive to heart (not in video)
  130. Wait until Guard Armor starts spinning, then full combo + 1 hit to kill it
  131. A good fight is when he doesn't separate his body parts

  139. ENGLISH VERSION ONLY: Go to 2nd District, jump down to enter Alleyway, approach the Red Trinity, then hold up to enter Secret Waterway
  140. Talk to Leon twice like normal, leave to Alleyway, go to 3rd district
  141. PS3: Unlock the path to the first district and exit through the accessory shop
  142. PS4: Head to Merlin’s and exit through the save here (we will use this to warp later)

  144. Gummi Ship Menu: Mash X/O to skip the Tutorial and enter the Editor
  145. Press R1, Square, O (ENG); X (JPN), Left on D-Pad, then X (ENG); O (JPN) to erase your Gummi Ship
  146. Place your Cockpit (Cure-G), press R1, place one of your two engines (Fire-G) and gun (Thunder-G) next to your Cockpit
  147. Press Start to exit the editor, save and "Overwrite Excalibur file", exit the Gummi Ship Menu.

  153. Rabbit Hole: Approach the door, skip a cut scene, and enter the Bizarre Room

  155. Bizarre Room: Approach the very small door, push the bed, drink the "bottle", and enter Queen's Castle
  156.  
  157. Queen's Castle: Go left and enter Lotus Forest
  158.  
  159. Lotus Forest: Go left and defeat the heartless here by using Fire and attacking them
  160. Enter the 1st small alcove to your right while hugging the wall
  161. Open the pink box for "Footprints" and return to the Queen
  162.  
  163. Queen's Castle: Talk to the closest Red Card Soldier and pay attention to what evidence box drops first
  164. The first box that drops is always yours while the last box that always drops is the Queen's
  165. For PS3 always go for the last box to trap Goofy and Donald and the first on PS4 so they can help
  166. (They cause load issues on PS3 if they pick up munny but not on PS4 so they are actually helpful)
  167. Once you chose a evidence box, it's time to spam aerial combos on the Crank Tower
  168. When you have destroyed the wheels, just try to lock onto the Crank Tower as best you can possible.
  169. If you can’t lock the tower put the tower between you and a card and try to attack it till you can lock.

  174. Go back into the Lotus Forest, follow the straight path to the Tea Party Garden, and enter the door
  175.  
  176. Bizarre Room (Upside-Down): Grab onto the ledge were Cheshire cat was
  177. Jump to the first candle and light it.
  178.  
  179. PS3: dodge roll and light the next candle
  180. PS4: jump and light the next candle (you can still dodge roll but you have to add movement)
  181.  
  182. After lighting the candles, jump toward the latched door.
  183. Stay on the slant then jump towards the lock and mash ▲
  184. Head into the "normal" Bizarre Room from Queen's Castle
  185.  
  186. Bizarre Room: Talk to the Cheshire Cat on the table to fight Trickmaster
  187. You should be able to do a combo on him from the table to stun him
  188. Once he's down, do another combo with 2 extra hits (jump for the combo but not for the 2 hits, just mash X for those), then jump on the chair do another combo on him
  189. Repeat three times, do two more combo and he should either die or come down for final hits if you missed any.
  190. If he knocks down all furniture in final phase roll away and spam fire.

  195. PS4 New Strat: After the initial combo just do jump swings at the peek of your jump at his body. If done correctly you can get hits in from the ground without using the table/chair and this is faster.

  201. Tree house: Just do 2 2-hit combos and 1 3-hit combo (or two full combos but this causes knock back)
  202. to Sabor I and he should be dead. Use Fire if he's too far away from you.
  203. Roll off the cliff where Sora is facing to enter Treetop.
  204. (PS3 can roll straight through/over the rail PS4 has to jump it)
  205.  
  206. MENU 3(PS3 only): Abilities -> Sora -> Equip Treasure Magnet
  207. \-> Tarzan -> Remove Raging Boar & Asp's Bite; Equip Critical Plus x2
  208.  
  209. Treetop: (PS4 touch the save then) Jump into the Jungle Slider mini-game and immediately quit out to enter the Camp
  210.  
  211. Camp: Get Slide 3 on the right next to a chalkboard
  212. Get Slide 4 on top of the boxes
  213. Get Slide 6 while getting on top of the Tent to get Slide 1
  214. Keep going to get Slide 5 and jump down to your right to get Slide 2
  215. Enter the Tent

  217. Tent: Talk to Jane, examine the Projector,
  218. PS3: Head to hippos’ lagoon
  219. PS4: Warp out and head out to Vines 2

  221. Hippos' Lagoon: Jump across all hippos to reach the vine at the very end and get to the Tree house
  222. If you're fast enough, then you can skip having to wait in the water for a hippo.

  228. Tree house: Just roll off to the same area as before, quit out of the Jungle Slider mini-game, and enter the Tent

  231. Camp: Exit the Tent to fight the 1st set of Powerwilds and 3 Blizzards should kill them
  232. Using/spamming magic is faster while in the air than on ground
  233.  
  234. PS4: Instead of going through vines warp out through the tent again
  235.  
  236. Go to Vines 1, examine the fruit behind you, mash ▲ and X/O, press start and quit out,
  237. then climb the vines to Climbing Trees
  238.  
  239. Climbing Trees: Use two Blizzards on the first group and more whenever you can on the other Powerwilds,
  240. use an Ether after the fight, then enter Tree house
  241.  
  242. Tree house: You should be able to just use physical attacks on the 3rd set of Powerwilds to build up your MP
  243. Afterwards, try to jump and attack the broken stairs at the highest peak of your jump
  244. (This is another "Toji hop" of sorts so PS3 will again be easier)

  253. Jump down over the rope into Jungle: Cliff to fight the 4th set of Powerwilds

  255. Jungle: Cliff: Drop and do a ground combo then 2-3 blizzards for the 4th set of Powerwilds and they should die in a matter of seconds.
  256. Enter Bamboo Thicket to fight the final set of Powerwilds
  257. (This fight is not as smooth on PS4 but should still be quick)
  258.  
  259. Bamboo Thicket: These Powerwilds can be kind of annoying since they are spread out at the beginning
  260. Use Blizzard or Fire on them whenever possible and attack them
  261.  
  262. Camp: Enter the Tent, touch the save point if you need to, and re-enter Bamboo Thicket to fight Sabor
  263.  
  264. Bamboo Thicket: He can either start by walking slowly towards you or jump right at you and use his charge attack
  265. If he walks slowly towards you, try to lure him to jump towards you
  266. If he jumps right at you, time your attack correctly to tech his charge attack and do a combo
  267. Try to get another ground/air combo in before he jumps into the bamboo
  268. Anytime when you see he is about to do his charge attack, tech him and do another combo
  269. If your finisher sends him too far, then use Fire

  272. PS4: There are three potential strats for this, the oldest and confirmed is the possibility of combo locking him against a wall. Next is spam fire to open and finish with a two hit and a three hit combo to finish. Last is to get the tech at the start with one extra hit then two rounds of two hit into three hit combos.

  274. Once you kill Sabor for the final time head to Camp, don't enter the Tent, go to Climbing Trees
  275. via the same route from the Powerwilds section.
  276.  
  277. Climbing Trees: Press Triangle to get through 1 text box
  278. Once you lock-on, press L2 two-three times to lock onto the Black Fruit
  279. Then spam air combos, five full combos will kill or 15 hits.
  280. Enter Tree house and jump down to your left to fight Clayton
  281.  
  282. Jungle: Cliff: Dodge roll and mash R3 then just do two aerial hits x3 to enter the 2nd phase of the fight
  283. (or 2 and a full combo if Donald uses magic on him).
  284. You can either let Clayton shoot you and jump towards you to get in 2 combos or roll towards him
  285. Once the Stealth Sneak reveals itself, try to time your combo to stun him during his kick attack
  286. Then try to make it where your back is facing the entrance of the area/barrier
  287. After you stun it during the kick attack, it will always jump over you
  288.  
  289. PS4: New strat is to roll to the cliff to Claytons left and jump up on it, he will follow at which point do to full combos and he will go down and start to de stealth, do one more combo during this time then roll into the clearing in the back.

  291. When it lands, do 2 more combos to get Clayton off of it
  292. Do 7 two hit combos on Clayton followed by a full combo to finish him off.

  297. The cut scenes can be skipped in the white and black respectively, although you have to wait for the first.

  299. Enter the Waterfall Cavern once you defeated Clayton

  301. Waterfall Cavern: Pretty much stay at the left side of the room while climbing up
  302. Jump over to the middle platform, then jump to grab the ledge behind you or climb the vine,
  303. jump to the left, and enter Cavern of Hearts.

  319. PS3: Leave and head to Magician's Study through door you unlocked to the 3rd District,
  320. Use fire on the door then head into the house and talk to Merlin.

  325. JP VERSION ROUTE:
  326. 1st District: Go to the 2nd District
  327.  
  328. 2nd District: You can either go straight in Alleyway or go through the Hotel and Red Room to get to the Alleyway
  329. Going to the Hotel is 2 seconds slower than just going through the Alleyway, but it's guaranteed
  330. If you just go through the Alleyway, then you could possibly just get trolled by a Yellow Opera
  331. Use the Red Trinity to enter the Secret Waterway
  332.  
  333. Secret Waterway: Talk to Leon twice and head back to the Accessory Shop
  334.  
  335. Accessory Shop: Talk to Cid, sell 4 AP Boosts, Ribbon, Ifrit's Horn, Pretty Stone, 2 Hi-Potions,
  336. and any extra items you picked up to get to 1,250 munny.

  356. If you want controller inputs, it's "Down, X/O, X/O, R1, R1, X/O, X/O". (Eng is X, JP is O, can be custom on PS4)

  358. Gummi Ship Menu: Enter the editor, put your Fira-G and Haste-G somewhere, save your Gummi Ship, and exit.

  360. Warp to Wonderland and then fly to the Blue Warp. (This saves 4 seconds from going there from Traverse Town)

  366. Plaza: Go straight into Main Street and left into the Alleyway to find Jasmine

  382. Cave: Entrance: Use blizzards to clear the bandits and attacks as necessary.

  407. Once the Command Menu turns blue, jump across some platforms and make your way up to another lock
  408. Enter Aladdin's House for a little text box scene, then enter Palace Gates to fight Pot Centipede

  413. Plaza: Use the door here and warp out with the save point to Aladdin’s house

  415. Aladdin’s house: after the scene roll out to the left and jump across to enter the Bazaar

  417. From there head straight for the gate that just opened
  418.  
  419. ------ PS3/4 Merge ------
  420.  
  421. Palace Gates: Do a single hit right at the start and he should do a snipping animation
  422. after that start spamming air combos on his head. He should charge you and break the barrier.
  423. You want him to die in the Main street section or middle section if you don't know names.
  424. After the final hit unlock and dodge roll toward the desert section.
  425. Whichever section you end the death animation in is where you start after.

  430. Plaza: Head into the Desert and fight the Cave of Wonders Guardian
  431.  
  432. Cave: Entrance: Start by rolling towards the left side of the Tiger Head 5 times
  433. Jump 4 times to get on top of him, then only try to do single or double vertical attacks on his right eye
  434. When he puts his head down, try to spam full air combos
  435. Once the right eye is defeated, spam air combos on the left eye
  436. If you feel like he's about to get up, then spam Blizzard on his nose until he gets up
  437. Then you should be able to finish off his left eye within a few hits

  451. during barrier to be safe and not knock him off the platform). After the barrier comes down
  452. Jafar will use his charged up attack (his staff will glow purple from top to bottom)
  453. Jump a bit away from him and attack him some more, if you do enough you will get 1 cycle.

  455. If he manages to fly away after creating his magic barrier, then go to the center of the
  456. room, he should approach you and try to hit you, so keep hitting him until he teleports.

  458. If he fly's away or you miss 1 cycle he teleports, go to the center of the room opposite
  459. the starting platform. Jafar should return to the starting platform follow and finish him off.
  460. (He can only be hit once his cape settles completely).

  782. Everything should de spawn although a Wyvern may follow if so kill it.
  783. After opening the Haste2-G chest, Glide your way back to the Switch to go to Great Crest

  795. Enter the Lift Stop, activate the blue switch, ride the elevator up, and enter the upper level
  796. Go right activate another blue switch to ride another elevator up to High Tower

  798. High Tower: Dodge roll towards the heartless, summon Dumbo, pause buffer if on PS3 when he holds his hand to his chest,
  799. and fly to Castle Chapel. To go higher with Dumbo, hold the Jump button and Dismiss when you're next to the ledge

  845. After partially using Ars Arcanum, hit him twice again, then fully use Ars Arcanum
  846. While he's powering up, partially use Ars Arcanum again, then guard his next attack.
  847. If you guard his normal attack while you're right next to him, then he should do his spin counterattack
  848. It takes a total of 4 hits to make Riku/Ansem counterattack
  849. The timing of your 1st hit must be in the middle of the 3rd part of his laugh!
  850. Hold the analog stick towards Riku/Ansem, then when you see Sora move a bit, press X
  851. Do not use Ars Arcanum at all during this!
  852. You can also use full aerial combos as well, but it is riskier!
  853. Audio Cue: "Ha ha h---", press X once to do 1 hit, then do a full combo
  854. Visual Cue: Must see Sora move a bit, then do 1 hit and a full combo

  954. Use a Gravity on each Angel Star, then do a full aerial combo to kill them
  955. Open the chest within the Angel Stars battle area for an Elixir

  966. So, if that happens, then replace Ray of Light with it before Final Battles

  981. Now hold ▲ and use Simba's full power three times in a row and dismiss him

  1020. Spam 2 Firagas on each Darkball until all of them die

  1022. Safe Strat:
  1023. Use Aero just in case for safety when the Invisibles are spawning, then cast
  1024. Stop in the middle (menu to this when moving earlier).
  1025. Spam Gravity once you cast Stop on the Invisibles, then use a Megalixir
  1026. If you manage to Stop all of them together, be careful!
  1027. Use Gravity and aerial attacks on remaining Invisibles

  1054. Homecoming: Try to enter the Secret Place, then approach Riku/Ansem
  1055. Ansem will either start with his Dark Swipe attack or his Shock Slash attack
  1056. If he starts with his Dark Swipe attack, then you can easily attack him into the lower-right corner
  1057. When his Guardian guards him, then use Ars Arcanum if you have enough MP or attack him in the back
  1058. Only in this fight, he will give a very large visual cue when he is about to use Submit you
  1059. Dodge Roll away from him when he approaches you to Submit you after the large visual cue
  1060. If you, Donald, or Goofy gets Submitted, then use Ars Arcanum when he brings up his Energy Barrier
  1061. Heal when you need to and use Aero if you want to

  1074. Ansem II will start with either Dark Rush, Dark Swipe, or his vertical energy attack
  1075. So wait to see what he starts out with and react to it
  1076. If he uses Dark Rush ("Take this!"), you can either immediately Guard it or roll out of the way, then Guard it
  1077. Again, use Ars Arcanum or attack him from the back when his Guardian guards him
  1078. When he has under 2 bars of HP left, he will use his Dark Shadow DM ("My strength returns!")
  1079. Hold up throughout the entire DM, dodge roll at the end of it, and quickly use an Elixir
  1080. You can prevent him from using Dark Shadow if you attack him at the right time before he uses it
  1081. After his Dark Shadow DM, his next attack will either be Dark Rush or he'll try to Submit you
  1082. REMEMBER THAT YOU HAVE LEAF BRACER, So YOU CAN HEAL TO AVOID ATTACKS WITHOUT BEING INTERRUPTED!

  1112. Use an Elixir after defeating the World of Chaos Face, but during his death animation
