Planning Dialogue

Our sessions begins with the players deep in planning.

Adonis: Why don't we take the fact that we have three seperate objects, and use it to our advantage? Keep the last case hidden until

Wraith: How much does it matter to them?

Scorch: Corps tend to stick together. They may loose the exclusivity...

Adonis: Is anyone good with demolitions?

Adonis: How are we getting to target, handing goods over and, importantly, staying alive?

Wraith: Somewhere nice and open.

Adonis: Where's that sniper shooting from?

Wraith: Holding one Each, then scatter? Probably can't run faster than bullets, but somewhere built up. Maybe a restaurant? An excuse to dress up.

Adonis: What was that shithole we were probably banned from? Yeah, busy public place could be an idea.

Wraith: We meet you in this restaraunt tomorrow.... everyone in the restaurant is an agent

Adonis: So we only tell them a half hour before the meeting.

Wraith: And we need somewhere we can escape to? What lives in the sewers, Para-Crocodiles?

Adonis: So, public place, little notice, turnup in one car only or we blow.

Wraith: Just Adonis in the building?

Scorch: "We don't want to be a weak target. What about a government building?"

Wraith:"Extratoriality"

Count Zero: "Set up out in the Barrens where they can't call for help, hire some gangbangers and then make the handover there?"

Scorch: "What's to stop them from saying 'I'll pay you double'"

Wraith: "I like to sniper but I'm easy. I get along with all forms of shooting so it really doesn't matter to me."

Adonis: "The barrens would be easier to dissapear in. But in theory SK could have a strike force on short notice and nobody would care"

Wraith: "I wouldn't say 'Could'."

Scorch: "Maybe we should do it somewhere more public where the police might show up?"

Wraith: "Maybe they want to do to legit?"

GM: HA-Ha-ha-ha-ha

Scorch: "I suppose the barrens..."

Count Zero: "Who do you think Knight Errant will side with if we start causing problems in the city?"

Adonis:" Corps stick together. We can give them short notice, somewhere that takes exactly as long to drive to as the distance from their office. Then maybe redirect them at the last moment to reveal anyone sniping or hiding out."

Wraith: "They might not pay us unless we have all three"

Adonis: "Not expecting payment, just expecting the runner"

GM Note: Runner in secure location?

Wraith: "Could do it super confident if you ask them to meet you at a particular point and just say 'drive'"

GM Comment: It'd be worth a karma point

Adonis: "I'd rather live than have karma"

Scorch: "Tag eraser with an EMP pulse on a deadmans..."

Adonis: "Just like the oul 'cortex bomb'. Have it on a deadman's switch and it should fry the electronics. You don't have any sensitive electronics, do you Count Zero?"

Count Zero: "Yes! Yes my... ahm"

Scorch: They essentially have to be touching anyway....

Wraith: "I've been rubbing my feet on the carpet"

Digression on Static, and on rubbing RAM and on dirty fibres. Please don't touch them by those bits.

Adonis: "So they turn up. We hand over one of the cases, we get the runner..."

Wraith: "What's our exit strategy?"

Count Zero: "Are we sure they want the cases, or the runner?"

Scorch: "We're not sure of anything?"

Adonis: "I guess my understanding of this is. We drive there. Hand over one. Van arrives, picks up the runner and drops the second box. Location of Third box is revealed when we're safe."

Storeroom of the coffee house across the road. Or maybe leave the third one at the location we just vacated.

Wraith: "What do we want the gangers to do? Block the roads?"

Count Zero: "Oh we could get them to organise a protest!"

Adonis: "So protest to create a distraction?"

Wraith: "I suppose would could hire two gangs to go to the same spot and let them fight..."

Adonis: "That might be uncontrollable... does anybody have any Protestor or Gangers?"

No's

Adonis: "I know a guy.... but not very well."

Scorch: "I know a bike gang. Slightly more on the illegal racing side of the things than the gangbanging side of things."

Wraith: "Some street racing nearby with some go gangs could work too much"

Adonis: "So, who am I going to look like? Him would probably be too provacative."

Wraith: "Her?"

Adonis: "I might be able to remember her size..."
