  46. keep up = understand as quickly as the class is going, without falling behind
  47. drop a class = withdraw from a class (remove it from your schedule)
  48. catch up = arrive back at the level of everyone else in the class (after falling behind)
  49. run into = faced or encountered
  50. clear it up = find a solution, deal with a problem
  51. make sure = ensure (“insure” means to protect something by buying insurance)
  52. make up = finish something that was already supposed to be done, which you missed because of an absence
  53. can’t afford = don’t have enough time (you won’t be able to do it, because you won’t have enough [something valuable])
  54. see someone around = see someone in random places in your daily life
  55. look into = investigate in order to know more about something
  56. Why not? = it’s a good idea
  57. come up with = develop, imagine
