  7. Personality: Likes to occasionally be extravagant or dramatic, but otherwise is pretty laid back. Likes being different, and can be very, very determined.
  8. Abilities: Affinity in dimensions and the creation of. Can make chests and bags that can contain much, much more than their physical properties allow. Because of this, he also has a little skill with locks. Good for capturing people and put them in otherworldly stasis, though he has never had a dire enough situation to do so. Also spends most of his time working on electrical spells- chain lightning and such. Energy shield, and a detection spell by locating electrical fields common around living creatures.
  9. Equipment: wip?
  10. History: Drake grew up in a sort of middle-class life, not really rich or anything, but better off than the average people. He usually had what he wanted- whether he made it that way, or he messed with people to get it his way, from work or from just his parents giving it to him. However, he wasn't born in London; he was born in Salt Lake City, in America. He spent his years going to school, keeping his grades up, and getting introduced to magic by his parents. He didn't particularly care for his parents; nothing was really good enough for them, while they would always say that he needed to slow down. From an early age, he could create small dimensions and drop things into them, which was useful for getting rid of things. Any evidence could just disappear, and nothing would be left to make blame or anything. So he was also a bit of thief- he ended up teaching himself, between his lessons by his parents, and schoolwork, to create portals to his alternate dimensions between a single type of thread, so that it wouldn't get mixed up and swallow itself. So, he began working a bit more to earn money, and starting buying carbon thread. Anything he'd want a dimension to be connected to, the portal would be between the thread. If the thread was cut, he made it so that the portal would close until reconnected- useful to have if you want a regular pocket, and then a dimension pocket with whatever you want.

  12. So he grew up, learning and experimenting with different things. He became a well-recognized person at his school- he knew he was a very different person from everyone else, and made sure to cover up any kind of small magic-use by just being generally weird and fun. He still had trouble getting stuff to work, but he knew how everything worked and how to do it. By the time he entered junior high, his life had changed. In his seventh grade, an unknown, stealthy vampire snuck into their house. Both his parents were killed in their sleep; apparently the vampire had a very hateful grudge against them for being imprisoned for some time in one of their dimensions. HIs next target was Drake- a light sleeper. He had lain awake for some time, fearful of what might be happening from the other rooms, as strange sounds had been made. When the vampire had entered his room, intent on finishing off the family, Drake had his backpack out, looking for a flashlight he had kept in it. He didn't want to turn on the lights- too obvious, he knew. But when the vampire had creeped into his room, and Drake had finally fished out his flashlight and turned it on, Drake panicked. His backpack was his first experiment- the regular backpack held his laptop and various papers, folders, and books. But, he had woven the carbon thread into the edges, and in a panic, he remembered this and connected the two threads. The portal kept it holding together; it took a tiny bit of strength, a small tug, to break the connection, but it was now an inky black space between the two zippers, and Drake threw the backpack at the vampire.

  14. The result was the vampire being sucked into the backpack's dimension, overloading the small type, and violently expelled everything inside, and exploded. It was a small explosion, but it broke all the glass in the room, killed the vampire, and temporarily deafened the young Drake. Afterwards, he was taken in by his only remaining relatives that he knew of- his grandparents, who lived in London. His parents were British- so was he, but just grew up in America. He never found out why his parents moved to America, but they did, and now he was going back to the place that his father had lived when he was young.

  16. Burdened by his parent's deaths, he first went through a state of rejection- simply ignored the fact they were gone. Shortly afterwards, he went through a short stint of depression, and then pulled himself out of it, intent on not being so down all the time. He forced himself to be more optimistic, hiding from his family's death, and instead became what he was today.
