  1. The three attributes represent the main activities that the game will encourage the PCs to get into in campaigns, and the skills under each correspond to common roles PCs play.

  3. Discovery
  4. This attribute is about finding revelations about the world and uncovering what is hidden or lost. Its skills are designed for conducting research, exploring the world, and analyzing knowledge.

  6. -Scholar: This skill is used for the study of specific topics, such as monsters, magic, history, etc.
  7. -Infiltrator: This skill is used for discovery through accessing places that are otherwise inaccessible, such as by sneaking past monsters and people, donning disguises, or by picking locks and bypassing doors.
  8. -Pathfinder: This skill is used for identifying environmental hazards and discovering more about the wilderness and outdoors.

  10. Organization
  11. This attribute is about managing the PCs' town or organization and the interactions with people that occur through this process.

  13. -Face: This skill is rolled when trying to give good first impressions, or when genuinely persuading someone or conducting diplomatic negotations. Face can also be used when trying to seduce someone, giving a powerful performance, or similar social activities that require great presence.
  14. -Investigator: This skill is rolled to discern motives and learn more about people and organizations. It can be used to see through lies and deceptions, to discover others' secrets, and to read someone.
  15. -Swindler: This skill is used to deceive and manipulate, plying at someone's heartstrings or putting together a cover up for a disaster you would rather sweep under the rug. Swindler is used for subterfuge.

  18. This attribute is about overcoming obstacles by force, whether that means bashing down doors, browbeating guards, or even powering through difficult terrain to reach a specific location.

  20. -Harrier: This skill is used to scare and browbeat, or to give off an imposing presence.
  21. -Trekker: This skill is used to overcome obstacles through movement, such as through climbing trees and cliffs, or outrunning a hostile force.
  22. -Muscle: This skill is used to overcome obstacles through physical force, such as bashing down doors, lifting heavy boulders, and

  24. Q: How do perception checks and other 'standard' rolls work?
  25. A: Rather than generalizing all "do you see hard to see thing?" rolls to a single skill, this would be based on which skill is most applicable. In wilderness situations, this would often be Pathfinder, whereas to notice social cues or similar in a city, it'd be Investigator. Noticing something is amiss in ancient ruins might be Scholar.
