Tales of Zestiria notes cleaned up a little 14/02/2016

Things to take note of:
i control Rose in the latter half of the game compared to others using Sorey. i'm pretty sure shes way better for multiple reasons:
Dexterity Decor from chest is super good A.atk for casting spells. Feldspar dagger boosts fire damage.
After beating Tiamat, Rose's titles all gain a +1 to base combo length attribute. she gets an extra spell every combo.
i'm certain dream slasher is way better DPS than anything else on Armatised heldalf.


My notes are still ass, but hopefully they now say how i ACTUALLY do things nowadays, and a couple other reminders.

First floor of upper level - Tag NE Spinny mist thing. grab wood chest. (Void Spheres).
Next Floor with the 2 doors next to teleporty thing. wood chest. (Hushed Sonance).

A few things you'll always have: default pendulum Zaveid, Burning Dash with lindwer, Fire ring with Lindwer/Rangus.
Control Sorey.
Eat for ATK

Check Dark Turtlez for Lindwer for the 4, buy gels/bottles.
Charge BG in a random encounter if you dont have full. put both Sorey and Zaveid on manual or semi-auto for auto-dodges.
Dont let them die else you lose half though. Flee after auto dodges start running out.

Tell AI to back off.
Auto dodge for BG when low (especially between phases when you have to re-arma)
Wind Arma with Sorey when you have BG Left. O, O, Up+O. in a single stun you should be able to Banish -> O -> Banish.

Fight Mammoths for Windstep/bits and pieces of exp. they die fast to CROWN FIRE.
For mammoth fights, set AI to back off, run up in human form, and do a full Up+O combo, then armatise for longer arma gauge time.
Then crown fire till everything is dead. if you hit 40k total damage on the counter you get Retribution battle action (faster final fights)

WAY FASTER: Up+O, CROWN FIRE CROWN FIRE CROWN FIRE. wait for him to land for crown fires, juggle Up+Os.

Armatised Heldalf PB: 6:53:82
First things first. DIE. then eat for A.Atk.
Change Strategy to "Do not use BG" for everyone.
Control Rose.
Sit in "safespot" (which isnt quite safe) and CROWN FIRE HIS ASS over and over. Maintain high BG on Rose.
When you hit the CHARGING MY LAYZOR phases:
use Non-arma Rose to hit DPS requirements. use 3 dagger throws into chain blast. repeat until out of BG.
You can't actually drop all your BG in one combo. you might have to stop for ~1s after a couple reps.
When no BG left, Maintain 40+ SC.
On the second stage, when running out of BG use 1 Arcane bottle. (you probably wont need to)
On Third Stage, When running out of BG use 1 Arcane Bottle(Make sure to keep one). (you very well might need to)
For Fourth phase, you have to control Sorey to Fire Arma instead.
Once Fourth DPS Requirement pops up Revive Rose with Elixir, switch to her, and dream slasher as usual.

Final Form:
Use elixir and Lions Howl/shatterfang>MA.
